Its pet friendly, and just a 2 minute walk to a dog friendly beach. 5 minute stroll to a great Thai restaurant and local shops, and a 5 minute drive to Salamander Bay shopping centre or into Nelson Bay. Water views from the balcony, living areas and the master bedroom. The house is very well set out and maintained, and very clean throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings are all first class with clean leather lounge both upstairs and downstairs. Everyone I dealt with "Stay Port Stephens" was professional and very helpful from my first enquiry through to our last day of the stay. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend Beachside Haven.

The accomodation has an absolutely gorgeous view, is right next to the beach and is a short distance from the shops. Thank you to the owners for being so accomodating - everything was beautifully prepared when we entered and all the facilities are as advertised.

The rooms are all generously fitted out and the beds are very comfortable. The 4th bedroom is in the lower floor and can be configured as either 2 single beds and a bunk set or a queen and bunk. this room has only one window which faces into the garage/rec room, so is quite dark.

Loved the backyard and the outdoor space...only suggestion would be to have aircon in the bedroom downstairs..where the kids slept. The rule for family holidays that the most important thing is time away from each other can be followed here. There was space for the teenagers and room for toddlers. The kitchen is well placed and allows you to be in there but still be a part of the lounge area. Bagnells dogvfriendly beach is across the road and it would have been nice to be able to bring the dog as the back yard is fenced but it is not dog friendly. I was not satisfied with the cleaning in the bathrooms, they were dusty and behind the door was really unclean. I contacted Shane and he organised a cleaner to come out the next day and the bathrooms were spotless. The photos are accurate and the home allowed is to have a lovely holiday together with plenty of space when someone needed some quiet time. The balcony is wonderful for eating and enjoying the view. I would definitely like to come back here.

Beautiful view and great balcony to enjoy it. The one issue with the house was its extreme dustiness. You could tell it had been a while since someone had stayed there and it had been a while since someone had actually cleaned and dusted the place. We spent a good day vacuuming, opening windows and getting air circulation flowing. Quite a few spider webs were found behind curtains and in high corners of rooms.

We really enjoyed our family stay over the Christmas period. The house was huge and easily fit 7 adults, 4 kids and a baby. Lovely water views from the huge balcony and the swimming spot in front of the house is calm and perfect for little ones and water sports. The house had a games room the kids and adults loved and a large well equipped kitchen. A couple of negative points is the fold out lounge is not comfortable at all and not suitable for an adult. There was no hair dryer in the house and neighbors on both sides warned us to keep the noise down. Also no baby facilities, the house wanted to charge us extra money to hire a cot (which was fine) but then another charge for a high chair which we felt was a lot on top of what we had already paid. Regardless we would still love to go back. It was a great spot.
