Lovely property in great location within walking distance of Duoro River and other sites of interest. Good restaurants within walking distance. Ani is a great host who went out of her way to book appointments for us before our arrival.

Our host , Ani, is very attentive to the details in the Apartment that make a visitor very comfortable. The location of the Apartment is fantastic and any questions we had were answered very promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent in Porto.

We really loved visiting Porto, Gaia and the Duoro Valley. We walked everywhere from the apartment (except Duoro!)…it was a perfect location. Note that we like to walk a lot to discover and learn. We averaged 15-20,000 steps each day, with hills…Porto’s true topography.
It was wonderful to end and start each day at the Porto Insight apartment. It was very comfortable and our host Ani is truly amazing. I give her 10 stars for excellent communication and her true care for clients. Thank you Ani for letting us enjoy your wonderful apartment!

My husband , grown daughter and I spent 3 days at this wonderful flat with easy access to everything in Porto. The accommodations were in great shape and comfortable . We were able to cook some breakfasts - are out for dinner— and loved walking through Porto, a lively city steeped in charm. I would definitely recommend

Our stay in the apartment was very pleasant and we had a very good time. Located in the city centre, all the sights are in walking distance and in the evenings there is a great choice of nearby restaurants and bars. The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished. The hostess Ani is very friendly and accommodating.

Ani’s place was perfect for my family’s first time in Porto. Plenty of space for us and one street off of a main street kept it quiet without being far from anything. Just about everything we wanted to go to was in walking distance which is important as traffic can be terrible in the high season. Communication with Ani was top notch as were the personal touches she had in the apartment. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Location of this apartment in Porto is ideal! Walking distance for everything we needed to do and see. A little stuffy sleeping with windows closed but a little loud with windows open. Not located on a road with cars so you have to walk in a short distance and up the stairs to apartment, no lift. It was clean and suited our needs. Thank you!

This is a great location and wonderful apartment, easy walk to all of Old Porto, so many restaurants and stores, we felt safe and loved the area.

We are nearing the end of our family vacation in Europe and we had the pleasure of staying in Ani’s amazing apartment in Porto from June 30 until July 3. You must stay here if you are in Porto. Ani is a wonderful and gracious host, her apartment is so clean, and it is in the perfect location. Ani made the first stop of our family trip to Europe just perfect. She gave us a list of key sights to see and some tips for getting around Porto. She checked in on us and we really felt she took care of us while we were there. Ani even ordered us a cab for our early departure. We would give 100 stars if we could. Thank you Ani! ❤️

Ani is a super host! She is welcoming and accommodating. She provides a very nice apartment with some thoughtful little extras. The apartment has sliding glass panels that create a very quiet space or you can open the doors to the little balcony that looks out to the alley. The bed is comfortable! The location was good because it is below Sao Bento but above the river… sort of in the middle of where you want to go…. And with the Porto hills that is welcome!

My wife and I stayed at Ani's place for 4 days in April. Ani met us at the apartment and gave us a full tour of the place. She also went with me to the parking garage to park the car (definitely did not need it during our stay). I think that Porto is the most beautiful city I've ever been in and this apartment is perfectly located. There is a wine bar directly across the alley for a mid afternoon glass. You can walk everywhere from this place. Overall, it was a fantastic few days and the apartment was awesome.

Ani was an excellent host for our stay in Porto. Her apartment is located close to the main tourist sites, with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. She provided great restaurant recommendations and checked in several times during our stay to see if we needed anything.

Ani’s place was just as described. She is a great communicator. We were delayed getting to Porto and Ani stayed on top of it.
Location could not be better - you are in the heart of the historical area. Everything is close by - side note to that….it is not completely quiet throughout the night - you may hear neighborhood cats, dogs or even flocks of seagulls! it is all a part of the wonderful narrow streets of Porto!!!

Charming and remarkably quiet and dark for sleeping but close to everything. Shutters on the bedroom windows were delightful for getting rest after a day of walking up and down the steep streets. Thank you, Ani, for a wonderful stay!

Loved our time in the center of Porto. Lots of tourists and things to see.
The location is perfect if you want to walk and see the sights. Comfortable and enough room for 3 women. The apartment is on the second floor and looks out with a balcony. Host was very at tentative and we had a fun time.

A comfortable and well decorated apartment for our group of three. Eduardo met us on site for a seamless checkin. Port and tarts were a generous thought. We asked for a stovetop coffee maker which was supplied quickly. Overall an excellent stay for us in Porto a lovely town with plenty to enjoy over 5 days. Many thanks

Ani was very helpful and the apartment was in a great location to reach everything. Porto is very hilly, so be prepared to walk up and down steep streets. Ani had everything we needed in the apartment.

The apartment was just what we wanted. Centrally located, well-laid out, and comfy. Ani was super helpful on check in and check out. She gave us good ideas of things to do inside and outside of Porto.
We had planned to cook, but didn't. We could have, easily, with the items in the apartment. There is a wine bar right across the street, a local coffee place not far way, good restaurants nearby. It's a great location and a great place to stay. Obrigada Ani!

The apartment is in the historic centre of Porto. A couple of blocks down to the Douro, amongst many centuries old streets. A true taste of what life in Porto must have been like hundreds of years ago. We loved the feel of the apartment and locale. There are numerous restaurants and stores within easy walking distance.
The apartment was well equipped with everything that you require. We stayed for a week and cooked in and ate out.
Our host Ani was informative, accommodating and charming. She made sure that we were well taken care of.

The apartment had everything you would need and is in a great location. Ani responded quickly to any of our inquiries and check in went smoothly. The pastries and cold water at check in were nice touches. Ani was very helpful with suggestions of what sights to see and restaurants. Made Porto even more special
Great location - steps to the cathedral and bridge. Very clean and comfortable. We could not find the apartment at first so Ani walked to where we were and guided us there. We needed a battery for the remote and Ani delivered one immediately. Would highly recommend staying there. Also short walks to some great restaurants.

If anyone is looking for a place to stay, please stay here. The flat is beautiful, comfortable, and fantastically well-equipped. Plus, the location is ideal! Communication and check in was easy, pleasant, and genuinely warm and welcoming. My favorite aspect was the balcony, perfect for welcoming the morning with a cup of coffee and admiring the city by twilight with a glass of port. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Apartment in Porto
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this apartment in Porto. The location is perfect for visiting the various sights of the city. Ani, the owner, is a wonderful host. She was there to greet us, gave us wonderful recommendations on things to do, and excellent local restaurants. The apartment is well furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Lovely visit - Ani, our host was very communicative and helpful. The unit fits 4 comfortably (5 if you have a short person to sleep on the sofa). It was particularly helpful having a washer in-unit as well as separate sleeping quarters and a full kitchen. Watch out for the front door, thought - it can be a bit tricky and note the wine bar across the street is lovely but you can get near the same quality for less at a grocery store about 10 minutes away. :)
