Amazing stay, property was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed.

The Last Resort is amazing, from the location to the layout of the house, how well it is stocked with all the essentials and the ease it was to communicate with Michele. The layout of the house is fantastic and extremely comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for large groups. Outside the pool is a great spot to hangout after being out on the water. We rented a boat for the week of our rental and kept it in the creek at the Last Resort’s Dock which is a great amenity if you would like to have a boat on vacation. There were also standup paddle boards, kayaks and bikes available. I would highly recommend this property as Michele and Greg have thought of everything to make for an unforgetable vacation.

Lovely house in a fabulous location-perfect

We were a family of 7. We had a great time in the pool, really enjoyed the back porch with the breeze all day long. We were not able to walk into the water from the beach because of the seaweed but walked out onto to the dock. House had everything. Instacart delivers so we only left for dinner a few times. Great time!

A great family property with so many amenities! We enjoyed pool time, fishing, snorkeling, and so many other fun things. The house is equipped with everything you could need. The property manager was available if needed and checked on us early in week. Loved the house and the memories we made.

The Last Resort was spectacular. Our adult children vacationing with us agreed it was an 11 out of 10. That back porch on the water was our home for all hours throughout each day. The interior of the house was beautiful and new. We’ve never had a better equipped and better stocked kitchen in a vacation rental. This house in Islamorada is a perfect combination. And Michele our host was perfect in every way.

This property and setting are absolutely beautiful! We met friends from Germany and spent a week here with four couples. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the gorgeous views. Michelle was excellent to work with and answered and addressed any questions we had immediately. We certainly enjoyed "Key Life" while we were there! Our only complaint was that we had to leave.

This property is absolutely perfect. With the beach and the pool and so many different spots to enjoy sunrises and afternoon cocktails, you just can’t go wrong. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need- best stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. The bathrooms are luxurious and although the house itself is older, it’s a historic property so we found this to be charming and sweet. We loved the kayaks and the bikes. Robbie’s was so close for snorkeling and feeding the tarpons- kids loved this! Such a delight to spend a week at the Last Resort!

Property was very beautiful. Would highly recommend It to anyone. It had everything you would ever need and more. The views are priceless! Easy access private boat ramp for your boat and boat dock on the back side of the canal. We will be back in the future for sure.

Private large lot right on the water. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room. The master bedrooms are wonderful en suites, and the massive kids room easily accommodated 3 of the 4 kids. (The teenager naturally chose a solo room. ) the large pool looking at the water was a HUGE hit with the kids. Kayaks at the property allowed for great snorkeling over the choral bottom. As it is the tropics in August, we had a rainy day on arrival and into the second morning, but after that it was sunshine and warmth the rest of our stay. The house was spotless on arrival. The landscapers came one day, as did the poolman and the property manager (Dave) who lives across the way. He gave us inside info that made us walk across the property’s access to the canal where we used his info to summon manatees. The kids were thrilled. As I said, a fabulous rental led to a fabulous family vacation

We came to the property with high expectations from the pictures and we’re still blown away! They stock just about every essential need and even provide beach towels. For a family of 6 and 4, this made packing a little lighter on the 10 hour trip. The property was kept immaculate and exceeded all our expectations for our vacation. The guide that is provided when checking in was VERY useful and we used it just about every day for activities and meals. Already booked for 2023!!

This is a 5 star home!! Homeowners have not missed anything in providing everything you could possibly want or need. We will be going back! Best vacation ever!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at The Last Resort. We visit Islamorada every couple years, and this was by far our favorite house. It’s stocked with everything imaginable! The pool, beach, house and everything in between was perfect. Michelle is more than accommodating and made sure we were 100% satisfied the whole week. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and very private. It was a perfect place during the Covid 19 Virus. The pool and beach are both wonderful and private. The house is very well supplied. It is very well set up for babies and toddlers as well. The only issue is the tight and windy staircase to the second floor. Michele always responded quickly with all questions. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time relaxing at the house while watching the ocean, birds and boats. We ate all meals at the house so was very thankful for the well supplied cookware!

This house was very clean on arriving. It was furnished exceptionally well and provisioned will all the necessary items. The view was spectacular as advertised and the grounds beautiful. And the pool was warm with a great deck around it. We couldn't have picked a better place to have Thanksgiving with the family.

We just got home from a week stay during mini lobster season at The Last Resort and it was fantastic. The house is exactly as pictured. The owners were fantastic hosts and helped us quickly with questions. Having the boat dock was super! My one minor complaint is that the cleaning crew showed up at 9 when we had to be out by 10 but overall a fantastic vacation and we would gladly rent again.

We returned a week ago from a fun time in Islamorada. The Last Resort was a wonderful place to stay with our family of 12. Everyone thought that the house was so well equipped and met our needs perfectly. The view is almost unreal. The pool and the kayaks kept the kids entertained , while the back porch had the adults quite happy. I can't say enough about Michele. Any questions I had, we're answered quickly and in her friendly manner. I highly recommend The Last Resort .

Amazing home with absolutely stunning views! Being on the beach with canal access for our boat and jet ski’s was perfect! Kids loved kayaking and the pool! Definitely a must stay!

Went to Islamorada to celebrate my birthday with friends. We laugh and describe that when we pulled up in our 3 car caravan that we all got put in awe like we just arrived at Jurrasic Park. We ran up like school girls to unlock the door and check put our island palace for the week. Birthday Bubbles from Michele were waiting for us, so we all grabbed a glass and headed for the top deck. And hour later we realized we hadn't unpacked the cars, when we got there we also realized we were so excited that EVERY SINGLE car door was wide open! Ha ha The house in impeccably maintained with anything and everything you could possibly need. I'm a Catering Director and there were so many goodies that we had a beautiful dinner with a fully set table, make sure you snoop to find the good stuff! A private sandy beach(which you dont find often in the Keys, spans the whole backside of the house and a huge pool and deck (where we spent most of the time) has enough room for a great BBQ and lounging room for all. If the beds could've fit in our luggage, they would've been packed! I scoffed at my own bed when I got home. And make sure everyone gets a chance to shower in the upstairs master, sharing is caring. It's too nice not too! Last.....make sure you get up for Sunrise, get a cup of coffee, and sit on a rocker on the back porch. Be careful though hours may go by while the ocean keeps you calmly tranced! Enjoy, we know we did, and we will definitely be back!!!

Our family loves the quiet tranquility of The Last Resort. Every winter we stay for 2 weeks. The house has a lot of separate spaces for hanging out. You can enjoy breakfast coffee on the ocean side porch while watching the birds and the spectacular morning sunrises. Star gazing on the upstairs deck, or while floating in the pool at night. Read a book on the garden area porch while rocking in a comfy rocker. Relax by the pool in a lounge chair or take a long needed nap in the ocean side hammock. There is complete privacy from neighbors Years ago on our first stay, we read about this homes extraordinary history. After surviving multiple hurricanes in Travenier the Conch House was CUT in Half and hauled down the highway 14 miles in the middle of the night and lovingly put back together to survive more hurricanes. When we walk in The Last Resort we immediately feel at home. It has been impeccably renovated to the highest standards while saving its old conch house charm. We enjoy cooking dinners together as a family in the modern kitchen and eating outside on the large party deck by the pool or in the dining room with ocean view. Amenities aplenty! There are plenty of towels, beach towels, beach toys and floaties for the kids, kayaks, games, puzzles, and books to read. Off the kitchen is an extra refrigerator and two washers and two dryers, coolers to use etc. I love staying here for 2 weeks every year, the other 50 a dream about being there.

This home is absolutely perfect!!! The minute we pulled up, it felt like we were in a movie - every detail was perfect and could not possibly be reality. Once we all entered the home, it took our breath away! We had an amazing time. The property was very clean and had every possible amenity you could think of. The kitchen was immaculate and organized beautifully. There were dishes to be used inside and plastic dishes to be used by the pool to prevent any accidents. There are 2 brand new clothes washers and dryers and an additional refrigerator in the utility room. The pool and deck were convenient, beautiful, and comfortable. We had two 2-year-olds and a baby with us and this house had absolutely everything we needed. The house has cribs, a toddler bed, toys, a walker, a swing, two high chairs, life jackets, a monitor, etc. Just everything we needed for the kids - we did not have to lug a huge amount of "kid stuff" with us down to the Keys. This house is huge and had plenty of room for our very large group. We never felt cramped. The bathrooms have all been renovated and are also beautiful. There is not a detail they did not think of in this home. We have been staying in the Keys in a large group once a year since 2012 and this is by far the best house you will find. It has the 3 things you need in the Keys: beach, pool, and boat dock. On top of that, the house has every detail you could think of. The owner was amazing and gave us her number in case we needed anything. There was absolutely no evidence of any hurricane damage. The home was pristine. You need to stay at this house. I would highly recommend this home to anyone! We will never forget our time at the Last Resort.

We are SO happy that we found The Last Resort! It is as we Irish say "A little slice of heaven!" The property is PERFECT for family/friends who want an intimate location to get away from all of the worlds troubles. We have stayed with family for several years and enjoy making and sharing meals together. The house has a WONDERFUL kitchen with all that you need to create culinary memories. The pool is HEAVENLY! The beach area is wonderful in that it is very private. You can sit on the porch facing the Atlantic with nobody walking by other than Sandpipers and Egrets. We plan to reserve 2 weeks EVERY year forever! Michelle and Greg have been such WONDERFUL owners. They are very customer friendly!

We just returned from a two week stay at The Last Resort. This was our fourth stay at this property and I have to say it gets better every trip. The owners take so much care to be sure that everything you will need is at the home. Their constant upgrades impress me with every return trip, and their eye for quality in materials used and appointments provided, are beyond comparison. Having rented many homes in the Florida Keys over the years, this property is by far the best. I always refer to The Last Resort as having the triad. It has a large pool, a boat dock across from the house, and a sandy beach. This is very hard to find in the Keys, but find it we did! Many home rentals have a pool and a canal, but the morning sunrise views from the ocean front porch will have you up early with coffee every time. The owners of this property are very accessible if you have any need, and they are just a text away. If I could give this property ten stars, I would certainly do it.

When we arrived at the property, we were speechless. We had arrived in paradise! And this just a few months after the devastating hurricane Irma had hit the Keys. Everything was cleaned up, the new pool and kitchen just perfect. The house is huge and decorated with great taste. We were two families and had plenty of room. We loved the private beach from where we could launch our kites. The kids enjoyed the pool tremendously. We are happy to know that there is now a new PUBLIX nearby. This will make grocery shopping easier for us when we come back in 2020.
