I was in town on business with my team. This house was perfect. VERY clean, comfortable, and close to everything. I will definitely book this again.

We stayed at this location for a 10 person low key bachelorette party. The property manager checked in a few days before arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The communication throughout the weekend was fantastic and appreciated the follow up after we left too. It's a quiet family neighborhood with amazing views from the backyard. We didn't pay extra to heat the pool, but it was warm throughout the weekend so it was fine. For the evenings, we did warm up the spa which was a relaxing way to end the evening. There was plenty of bathroom/ bedroom space for 10 girls (ages 23-33) to get ready for the day/ night. Also plenty of space to eat all together in the formal dining room and outside patio. Linens, bath towels, pool towels were all provided. We didn't bring a car, but after we arrived took a quick Uber/ Lyft trip to Vons (~6 min drive, $10). They also do same day delivery. To get to downtown it was about a ~30 min drive and we usually got an XL 5-20 minutes after ordering. It was really easy to save money by doing meals at the house because plenty of appliances, plates, space, etc. We used the BBQ, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and all worked great. Only thing to note was there was no napkins, only one roll of paper towels provided, so make sure to pick up some extras. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would visit for another similar trip in the future! Would also be great for families since there were games, toys, life vests at the house as well.

Our family had an amazing time here. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and everything surpassed our expectations. The property manager Lisa communication was great. The pool and spa were a great escape in the evening after busy days in San Diego. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

My framily and I had the best time in this home! It’s the perfect size for multiple couples and the location is excellent. The view is amazing, amenities are fantastic and service from property manager was great! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay as a family or group setting!

The property was great. It has many extra items most locations don't have (spices, toilet paper, paper towels etc). They provided great advice on nearby activities. Would recommend staying here 100%.

Amazing views, spacious, relaxing, clean, and only a 25 minute drive to every place we wanted to visit. Lisa always responded right away when I would text questions and Sue arrived to greet us and even brought us home made egg rolls one night. A fresh bowl of fruit was waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. Plus so many more little touches that made the hospitality superb! We can’t wait to go back!

The house was beautiful and everything was nicely kept. The house was stocked very well. Lisa was very nice and always willing to answer my questions. I would 100 percent stay here again whenever in San Diego!!

We had our siblings retreat in San Diego and chose this residence for our 'home away from home'. We all enjoyed our accommodations and found it clean and inviting. We especially enjoyed the homemade egg rolls from the property manager, Sue.

It was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It had everything we needed, although we could have used more wash clothes for the kitchen. I think there was just 2. I do laundry everyday so we were able to manage, but we had to use bathroom wash clothes about everyday. We were there over Thanksgiving and it was cool for half of the week, so it would have been nice if the pool was heated. We weren’t able to use it, but did use the hot tub several times since we had to pay a required $35/day fee to heat it! We were also not able to use any of the fireplaces, inside or out, because there was no key to start it. When we called the property manager they said it was “broken”. The property manager brought us a pan of egg rolls, and other Asian food on Thanksgiving that was so yummy. A really nice gesture. We really enjoyed that.

Everything was perfect except take the jacuzzi wasn’t working ;) .

We had a family reunion, 6 siblings, at this property in October 2019. The pictures on the listing don't do it justice. The house is incredible and the views can't be put into words. I fell in love with this place and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Just getting back from an amazing experience at Sunset Villa, San Diego CA. 3 family's under one roof and fabulous time. The home is very spacious so much room, we never felt cramped. The pool area was amazing, awesome pool and BBQ area. No one wanted to leave the house and when we did we dreamed of returning to it. Positives: Clean, large, everything you need in a home. View was lovely. We had the pleasure of meeting the woman in charge of the home for the "owners" Sue. She was awesome, so sweet helpful. Loved her. Made us two platters of food and cookies on two different days. And it was delicious (bonus). Negatives: we had to go home. I cant say anything bad about this experience. I would highly recommend. This was my first time renting a house for vacation. I am very picky (ask my family) this was fabulous.

Accommodations were very nice. Of course the pool looked much bigger in the photo than in real life. I couldn’t get the large Barbecue to work. The tank was empty and even after changing it, it wouldn’t start. After looking at the burners and internal structure it needs to be replaced. The wine cooler frig didn’t work either. There was a large accumulation of rat poop along the pool which wasn’t surprising due to the exposure to the open field... but disturbing just the same. The location was easy to find and easy access to the freeway to get to other locations. Just disappointed it wasn’t closer to the beach... but we knew that coming in. The view was very nice. It was perhaps a little higher in price than it should have been due to maintenance issues and more remote location, but we all had a good time.

When the hot tub pool pump broke, the management was speedy and very responsive in getting it repaired...they were welcoming and efficient..this is a wonderful family vacation home..

The property and house are excellent and very comfortable and in very good location. It all started very good. But the day after we checked in I saw a rat in the pool and I felt sick to my stomach. Small kids in the family were playing in the pool day before. The worst part of experience was - when I texted the picture of rat in the pool to property manger. The response I got was "Happens all the time, we just take skimmer and scoop it out". I thought that was very casual and callous. No sorry that it happened or it must be terrible to see that OR anything like that. If this happens all the time as manager puts it, I do not recommend staying at this property.

We had an amazing time celebrating my daughters wedding which was held on Imperial Beach. The house was perfect for our large group and was exactly as described! We will definitely be back again!! 😊�

This property was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the elegance while being completely comfortable. Our 6 adult children and their children joined us for a family vacation. We were surprised that the weather could be so cool this time of year. The house was cozy at the preset temperature without needing adjustments. We absolutely loved the hot tub spa as the pool was too cool to get into for a few days. We did have one sunny day for pool and bbq and visiting that was wonderful. We went to Mission Beach, a deep sea fishing trip, a Padres baseball game and the San Diego Zoo while we were here. The property was in a great location as we weren’t too far to go to these activities. The Vons grocery delivered our preordered groceries right to our door!! Amazingly convenient! We loved the many outdoor seating and visiting areas I would definitely recommend this property.

Ocean View Hills exceeded our expectations. We had four adults and three kids under the age of ten and all thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful house. The outside deck with gourmet BBQ set up, hot tub, pool and plenty of space to relax while gazing out at a panorama that stretches from the hills of Tijuana to the Pacific Ocean. No better way to start the day than to drink your coffee looking out at the horizon nor a better way to start the night with a cocktail in hand while watching the sun set. The house has plenty of space to relax and play. Two kitchen tables with one in a more formal dining area. Two living rooms with large TVs and comfortable sofas. The indoor kitchen is packed with more than enough plate ware and cooking equipment/utensils. The highlight of the stay was a visit from Sue, representing the management company, who stopped in to say hello and check on us and ended up coming back with a fully cooked Vietnamese feast. We loved our time at Ocean View Hills and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for everything.

When we arrived, the house we rented was not so clean. Dishes and glasses were dirty and had to be washed. Two throw rugs were dirty and had to be cleaned. Carpet had spots. This house was nice, but needed a deep cleaning of all rooms.
