The property was beautiful and just as described. Walking distance to the beach and has trolley service as well. The kids loved the pool and it’s less than a minute walk from the house.
The owners were EXTREMELY attentive with any questions or concerns - with responses within minutes. We would definitely stay again!

Pictures were misleading. Found roaches on the floor, food on the floor and in the sofa. Owner did offer a solution of pest control for the next day. I did not want to sleep with roaches therefore we left the property. Owner thought my request for refund was unreasonable and quit responding after my request. Owner did give refund of the cleaning fee. Owner also stated I wasn't the first to complain. The property was not what I paid for or expected for a family vacation.

Walking distance to the beach. Ample bedrooms and room for large families to stay. The pool is super close and easy to walk even for the little kids. Even though there are other houses in the neighborhood nearby, we rarely heard the neighbors.

Pros: There was plenty of room to spread out. The house smelled clean when we arrived. Well outfitted. Plenty of towels and linens. Good location to the beach. Great pool!! We used the decks a lot.
A few cons: Some items like the toaster and the coffee pot are not in good working condition. A few bugs…it’s Florida! Gas grill was filthy…we cleaned it. Oven wasn’t very clean. Some mattresses not as comfortable as we would have liked. Third floor southeast bedroom in particular.
We would recommend this VRBO. It’s on par with other rentals.
Great communication with the owners. They care about their property and their guests.
We did have the best vacation and it was party due to the comfort of this rental.

The house was well decorated and clean. The location to the pool and beach was perfect! Location is one of the important things being as though we have 16 people in our family with all different age ranges. Golfing and oyster bars for my dad, water parks and arcades for the teens, pool steps from the front door and the beach is about a 10 minute walk, but a shuttle onsite for those that don’t want to walk. The owners were so nice and responsive to all of our needs. They gave the best information on things to do in the area. I would recommend this place to any and everyone going to Destin!

Excellent location makes it easy to get to beach, restaurants, shopping and the harbor. House as described. Very well stocked kitchen. Be prepared to pack or purchase all household needs including extra trash bags, all seasonings, blankets etc. owners are very responsive to questions and assistance.

We have family from CO, OK, and FL all having Spring Break so we celebrated it all together. First time we all were together in over 18 months. From infants to teens to grand parents all had a great time! The house was wonderful, the pool and hot tub was over crowded but we still were able to be together and enjoy each other. The hosts were easy to work with and helpful!

I loved, loved, loved, my stay here ! The property manager was super organized and also let us do an early check in because we were arriving from out of town. The place had amazing views, in a very nice neighborhood and we did not have to go and buy extra stuff, everything that we needed to celebrate our holiday was available.Will definitely book again!

We have a wonderful experience and trip in Destin Florida. Some of us it was out first time as we are a group of family and friends that travel together celebrating birthday s and special occasions and we have travel to several states and countries together. And this was one of the great traveling n experiences.
We use the VRBO'S because that is our preference for lodging as we travel and I must say the experience here emerald escape was an awesome experience. A beautiful home, clean and very fashionable decor, beautiful neighborhood and great location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The couple of small issues that we had I contacted Gisele via email and got correspondence in a very timely manner with great results and answers. Would definitely book again.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful property! The owners were friendly and very helpful. They answered all of our questions and made the check in/out process a breeze. The house was beautiful and even closer to the pool than we had initially thought! The beach was close and the walk was easy. Our family vacation was perfect and everyone enjoyed themselves so much! Thanks again! We hope to make it back again!

We have coke here for 3 years now I believe. We love the house. It has plenty of room and all the amenities we need. We love the owners too. I recommend it highly!

One of the best properties that we have stayed at in this neighborhood! Everything was amazing. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a nice, clean, comfortable property. Checkin was fast and easy, nothing negative about this place. 10 out of 10 rating

We had a great time staying at Emerald Escape. There were enough rooms for privacy but we weren’t too far apart. Very close to the pool area and only a short drive to the beach. The Roku tv was a plus for the kids. We had some family working while we were there so internet connection was easy to set up.
The only issues we had were :
Some of the TVs had parental controls and we could not change them for the grownups to watch.
One of the handles on the faucet in the second floor hall bathroom came off when my daughter tried to turn it off.
One of the chairs at the kitchen table had holes burned into the seat. We noticed that the second day we were there.
Someone had gotten makeup all over the door in the downstairs master bathroom.
Obviously these are only minor cosmetic issues, we just wanted to make sure the host knew about them.
We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay longer next time!

We loved our trip to Destin! The house was perfect for our group! Plenty of room for everyone! We loved the kitchen--it had everything you need and more! The house is within walking distance of several things or an easy drive. The kids loved the pool! We can't wait to stay again!

We had a large group of 16 and all enjoyed the house and community. The pool was great for kids and adults and the shuttle to the beach was always super fast once requested. I would definitely stay at this property again.

This house was perfect for our group. The bedrooms were clean and spacious, there was one more bathroom than anticipated, which is always a plus, and the porches were great to sit and lounge. The pictures truly don't do it justice. The shared pool and hot tub were great, and the walk to the beach was easy. Only downside was only 3 cars can park in the driveway, but the additional spots around the pool and at the back of the condo for overflow cars was great! Can't wait to come back.

Very nice property and location. Having the pool on-site gave us options when we didn’t feel like going to the beach or central Destin. Lots of shopping nearby. The neighborhood/development is short-term rental and gated with on-site staff near pool. Seemed to be mostly extended families or younger couple/friends groups.

Wow, we loved our stay so much. The house was amazing. We had plenty of space for our group of 10. The bedrooms are well laid out and there was so much room to hang out and eat dinner as a group. The kitchen was amazing, I did not expect it to be so well stocked but it had everything we could need. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the pool, but it looked like a great time in warmer weather. Thank you so much for sharing your home for our great Christmas vacation.
