Although the weather was not exactly cooperative, it did nothing to take away our enjoyment of the property. The place was homey and clean. The beds were comfy. Everything was in working order and as expected. I was worried about the binder of rules that I read about in others’ reviews but I worried for nothing. The binder was just some helpful things about the house and the location of things..nothing to stress or worry about. The owner Maureen lives next door. Super sweet woman. After introducing herself to us, she left us to enjoy our vacation but it was comforting to know that she was there if needed. We were able to catch some beautiful sunrises as we stood on the deck and looked to the right. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance and lots of cool things to do that were a short drive away. Thanks again for letting us stay! We enjoyed our time

Many positives to share on this stay. Two families of four stayed for this trip, and with that, it seemed like there was plenty of room as everything is open and well sized. There are beautiful views from nearly every room. The outdoor decks are great for a meal or an evening drink and you are always greeted by a gentle breeze. The kids enjoyed the mini pool and foosball tables. Kayaking here is great fun, lots to explore and pretty calm. Easy walks to town for ice cream, dinner, drinks. The best beaches are a short drive but there are near-by beaches for walking. Overall, a very solid place. The owners are close by and helped greet us day one. They said to just give them a shout if we needed anything but everything went well and so we didn’t see them again.

We were back again this year for another extended stay. Well equipped, clean, and very comfortable accommodations. Nicely situated on the water with beautiful views, close to attractions of all sorts. Hosts are next door, responsive to any requests but not intrusive. Highly recommend.

This property is beautiful, spacious, peaceful. Numerous activities available, with extra large deck for relaxing and for entertaining. Extra large kitchen plus large dining room and living room. Plenty of space for our family of six adults. Hope to return next year.

This one is at the very top of our list of rentals. On the water, a beautiful cove perfect for kayaking and enjoying the view. Everything worked and very clean. Great location, close to a nice market, close to many day trips but so nice you can enjoy the whole day at the house. The owners were there if you ever needed. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay in this immaculate, well stocked home. The property is exactly as described. We loved relaxing on the deck, taking in the beautiful views and exploring in the kayaks. We walked to several restaurants and cooked using the outdoor grill and spacious kitchen. Brad & Maureen promptly answered any questions we had. It was a pleasure dealing with them. We thank them for sharing their beautiful home and would love to go back.

This property is like a five star inn. It is charming and comfortable. The views of the cove from the deck are calm and peaceful. The location is convenient to excellent eateries and attractions. Our five week stay was wonderful. The owners were helpful and quick to answer any questions.

Lovely property just as advertised, very well equipped. Responsive hosts available to meet any needs, aim to please. We stayed for five weeks and booked again for next year.

This property was perfect. Exceptionally clean, fully equipped on all levels, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, wonderful deck. Bedrooms were large with beautiful views of the water. My 4 30-something girlfriends and I stayed here for a long weekend in early May. The house was meticulously maintained and so clean. The water views were gorgeous. The deck over looking the water is perfect. You can see the water from every bedroom. There was plenty of space for us too. The owner lives right next door (for better or worse). She was very accommodating and allowed us a late check-out. She was available for anything we needed and this made for an easy and quick check-in. But on the other side of this we kind of felt like we were being watched very closely all weekend. The rule binder was very extensive. It's obvious that this place is so well maintained by the owners keeping a very close eye on it and having strict rules and regulations. Overall it was a good weekend in a clean house with great views. We went off season so I can't say much about the town of Portsmouth. We had trouble getting ubers and also had trouble finding takeout places.
