Super comfortable and relaxing. Great views of the river and its wildlife.

So happy that it overlooked the river so we could just sit and watch the water. It was so peaceful.

Its my 4th time staying at the cozy cabin. Got 3 beautiful sunsets after rain on other trips. We usually see dolphin daily but too early in season, I guess. Blue Heron always is fascinating to watch. I think I've got bird correct. Had lots of great food from Egg Heads to the BCBC, in Hampton. Try Chipper for awesome fish & chips. Hosts are always great. I cant wait to go back again. We hope the Colonial Parkway will be reopened by then. Detours from April 2024 through Spring 2026. I love its scenic route, part of my drive, going & coming. Ill be back!

Beautiful views, centrally located. It was perfect for what we were looking for. And you cannot beat the views. Sheila greeted us and communicated with us quickly. Great experience!

We spent four wonderful nights in this VRBO. We had such a lovely and peaceful stay. We loved sitting on the screened porch and watching the river go by. The location was close to everything. We enjoyed going to both Williamsburg and Yorktown. And the little fenced in area was great for the dogs to go potty at night.

The owner was at the property and showed us how everything worked, which was very helpful. The cheerful slash of green to celebrate the Ireland was a fun touch.

We stayed here for an extended birthday weekend for my husband. It was so wonderful. The weather was a bit blah so I was worried we wouldn’t get that sunset but the clouds blew away in just enough time for our final night. The home was comfortable and so much better than a hotel we loved being able to relax. The owners had a lot of menus and we Larry personally met us at check in to give us the key. He had some great suggestions for eateries which were 👍 The owners were pleasant with communication and we didn’t have any problems but I felt that had we had an issue I wouldn’t be afraid to contact them. Selfishly I don’t want to tell too many people of our new favorite spot so that we can rebook. Lol

We searched for a 1 bedroom house, on the water, an hour drive from our house for a quick get away and this was exactly what we needed! The house is cozy and the view is spectacular! Our host was very attentive when we texted an issue. It really was a perfect weekend!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Very cute and comfortable home. Screened porch is very nice with an amazing view. Cabin exactly like described and pictured. It would be wonderful in nice weather.

I enjoyed my stay so much. It was exactly as advertised and the owners were great. The views and sunsets were amazing. Even though a storm came thru one of the days I was there I still found it peaceful. A great get away at a cute little waterfront home!!!

My family and I enjoyed this property so much we will definitely be returning in warmer weather to take full advantage of the beautiful outdoor surroundings. We loved the Christmas and winter decorations that made it feel like a home away from home. It was the perfect cozy cabin get away for our family adventures in Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens.

We had the best time at this lovely cabin!!! Communication was amazing and the view was amazing!!! The location is great if you are looking to visit historic Yorktown/williamsburg. Our pup loved running on the private beach. Definitely can’t wait to come back

Cute cabin style cottage! Screened in porch and 2 level deck to sit a take in the tranquil view! Comfy King bed and the kiddo loved the fold out cot! Ample hot water, I am fan of that! Great breakfast diners nearby and yummy Italian for dinner take out! Soft and comfy couch and lots comfy chairs. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in the area! There are stairs up to the house so keep that in mind if that's an issue for you

The cabin is so cute and well decorated. The view is incredible. It has everything you need to a relaxing stay.

Great property, everything was exactly as described and then some. Shelia and Larry are great host and so helpful. We most definitely recommend this property if your looking for cozy and comfortable along with the most amazing view of the York river this place is for you. We absolutely loved this charming cottage and can’t wait to return! It was perfect in so many ways. We really enjoyed the screened in porch with spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. The location is ideal and close to Yorktown and Williamsburg. A great option too for those that travel, like us, with their furbabies. The host Sheila was a pleasure. We look forward to visiting again!

The view was perfect-very relaxing. A few things need to be updated and decluttered inside. But overall it was wonderful! great location, owner was very responsive and accomodating!

We loved our stay in this adorable cottage. The house is bigger than it appears and was perfect for the two of us. The outdoor space was so relaxing and even though it was rainy the first day, we enjoyed watching the water and pelicans. Close to Williamsburg but far enough away to be away from the traffic. We just wish we had stayed longer.

The location was great . Superficially the cottage was fine .However

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. Sheila is a wonderful host and met us when we arrived. This is a perfect place to come relax ,enjoy the quiet, and the awesome sunsets with a beverage on the deck. The cabin comes equipped with everything you could need, including beach chairs we used when we visited Virginia Beach. Close to all the historical places, great restaurants ,and not too far a drive from Norfolk and Virginia Beach. We highly recommend the river tour out of Yorktown beach, one of the highlights of our week. We would definitely book again. Steve and Denise.

Very nice property. We had a quiet and relaxing time

Only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! This is a lovely cabin with a great history. I really enjoyed meeting the owners. I love cabins with stone fireplaces and this one is great. Everything about the cabin has so much character. The deck, screened in porch, fenced run for dogs were all, especially, nice. The VIEW and sunsets were so breathtaking and serene. To top this off, I got to spend time with family and make great memories. Thanks so much for all the provisions and all the added extras that you provide to make your guests comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this Cozy Cabin by the river. It was just the right size for my husband and I. Sheila, the property owner couldn't be more responsive, accommodating, and friendly. The furnishings inside the cabin are clean and comfortable. Outside, the view of the river is top notch and the property owners have made it easy to sit outside and enjoy the view and the wildlife. We loved beginning our day with breakfast outside and ending it with a cool beverage, a friendly game of cards, and taking in the spectacular sunset on the perfectly situated deck. The property is located in a quiet, tranquil environment and is the perfect spot if you want a break from the usual hustle and bustle of modern day living. We won't hesitate to book this property again the next time we plan to visit the area. Thank you Sheila!

The Cozy Cabin was exactly as described yet it still exceeded anything I could have hoped for. The atmosphere in the cabin as well as the tranquility outside with the amazing view and beautiful sunsets left us in awe. My senior dog also had more pep in her step while there and it was evident she had peace as well as fun. It was an honor and privilege to meet Sheila and Larry who are two of the nicest and friendliest people I've met. It felt like coming home instead of being a stranger. Anyone thinking of staying at the Cozy Cabin, my advice is do it!! My only regret is I didn't book a longer stay. Definitely looking forward to returning!
