Perfect for our needs. Walking distance to the lake.

This is a great little cottage with comfortable beds and a bathroom en suite in one. The 2nd bathroom is directly outside the other bedroom so it was very convenient for my friend and I by giving us the privacy we wanted. When we arrived the iron did not work but Frederick the host had it exchanged out by the time we got back from dinner that evening. Location was perfect and easy to find your way to downtown Grand Haven and the beach. We loved the Village Bakery which is right down the street.

I came with my family to change a scenery and have some fun closer to the lake. Even the house looked larger in the pictures we had enough space for 4 of us. Good location also

Quiet residential neighborhood minutes from a Spring Lake beach. A short drive to Grand Haven and Lake Michigan. The house is well equipped and Frederick is very responsive. The screened front porch and outside spaces added to our enjoyment. The large entry porch was ideal for leaving beach toys, wet towels and sandy shoes. I would definitely stay here again.

Quick getaway with the family to see lake michigan and meijer gardens. House was perfect for our stay. Frederic commincated well, and I lacked at that part on my end. Definitely recommend.

Loved the location and the home. Quiet street, 3 minutes walk to the beach, less than 15 minutes to the Grand Haven lighthouse. Home was supplied with all we needed. Thanks!

The house is just adorable and was absolutely perfect for my sister and I while we were in town for our dad's 90th birthday!

The Dutch word to describe it would be "gezellig". Cozy, comfortable, fun decor, well put together! It was clean. We will definately be staying here again as we have family in the area. Well stocked.

This was a very cute cabin that was perfect for a weekend getaway with another couple! The cabin is tiny, but every inch of the space has been maximized. We had a very snowy weekend and it was very cozy. One issue that we had was that communication with the property manager was not very timely. We were traveling during a snow storm and when sending message through the VRBO app the responses were not very timely. We did not receive a code to check in ahead of time even after reaching out to the owner via text. We had to call the owner after we were at the door having arrived in the middle of a snow storm and the code that he was giving us over the phone was still not working. Eventually we were able to get it to work, but it was initially concerning. We loved this place, but make sure that the owner sends you all of the check in information including the code.

This rental was very nice. We were impressed with the cleanliness and supply of basic needs for our short stay. The kids enjoyed playing in the loft and it is very close to nice parks that include playground equipment. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful and quiet!

Pear tree was an excellent choice for our stay. Close to restaurants and everything we needed. The house was so cute and it was nice for a couples trip having 2 beds and 2 baths. We rested up for a round of golf at American Dunes. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved the house! It was very cute, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely recommend it to others! Spring Lake is a very nice little community! The sunset on the lake was lovely as well!

Adorable cottage in a great location. Nicely furnished and decorated in a lake theme. Very clean, and owner was quick to respond to any questions that we had. He also left dining suggestions on a chalk board in the cottage which is very helpful when you are new to the area.

Everything was delightful. The property is comfortable, easy to access, close enough to everything but far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. Will book again if we have the opportunity!

The Pear Tree Cottage was just as I expected from the photos. It was clean and very charming, was just enough space, and was in a really nice quiet location. Wish we could have stayed another night!

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!! We absolutely loved the short walking distance to lakeside beach. Very cute and quiet neighborhood and not busy like grand haven and still a short drive to the beach/pier! If you stay, highly recommend Cruise Grand Haven for bike rentals and The Unicorn restaurant. Going to be a staple for us now. Only advice we have, the couch in the basement could use replacing. The leather is shedding and sticks on you. Thank you so much for the great time. <3
