Great place to stay and close to everything!

Very comfy and cosy (and huge) cabin in a beautiful location. Very much recommended for relaxing or accessing the local area. Host was great at communicating and easy check out process.

This is a cabin in the woods with civilization nearby. We spent four days and nights at the cabin, and I loved it. The furniture was comfortable for relaxing, and the kitchen was awesome. While my friend used the bedroom downstairs, I had the loft bedroom and bath to myself. The steam shower was an unexpected pleasure. The “throne” toilet took some getting used to, but it wasn’t a problem. The small towns nearby offered gas, groceries, restaurants, and beautiful trees. Portland was a short drive away. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

This is a great cabin with a great host. The cabin has everything you'll need and then some. It was very clean, very cozy, and very quiet. It's also close enough to Portland to be convenient but still far enough away to be in the woods a bit. Wish we could have stayed a few more days!

A wonderful, whimsicle cottage with all the amenities. Creative decorating, comfortable beds and complete kitchen set up making it a joy to cook even! This was a great place to come back to to relax while putting the final touches on a family wedding event nearby in Gray, Maine. Amy was easy to contact and very responsive.

We visited the property for a long weekend and loved every minute of our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, the property was peaceful and homey, and communication with Ann was wonderful. She is a kind welcoming person. We would love to come back again.

The home itself was fully equipped with everything you could need, even the kitchen, and is utterly unique! You have to see it to believe it! The king size bed was super comfy. We loved Amy’s cabin! It was fun exploring all of the special touches. We’d definitely stay here again if in the Portland area. It was close enough to everything but also far enough away for some quiet! Everything you could need was available and Amy was quick to respond to a couple of our questions. Highly recommend!

Amy's place was enchanting. Everything you needed was provided and her communication was stellar. The place was a lot larger than I expected and I wish I spent more time in it. The steamed shower was beyond my expectations and the bed was so firm and comfortable my and I had zero back pain! I would love, love, LOVE to return and bring more people to experience the magic of Amy's home. This was a perfect surprise for my husband's birthday and The place was 20mins from most of our destination. Thank you Amy for unforgettable experience!

Stayed here for 4 days to experience the life of Maine. This house definitely does not disappoint! Every part of this house is beautiful and comfortable! Staring up at the stars on the deck at night was the best experience. I plan on coming again!

This was our third stay at Rustic Charm. The second being just last weekend. Two years ago, it was just my boyfriend and I. We knew then that we’d be returning. The pandemic made it so it just took a little longer to come back. This time we invited friends with us. Everybody also loved the place and maybe Amy will have some more future renters. Calling the place Rustic Charm, couldn’t describe it more perfectly! My favorites are the wood burning stove and the copious amount of books. We are already looking forward to next year and maybe we’ll check it out in the summer months. My boyfriend and I use the Vrbo app often, this is definitely one of our favorite spots. We highly recommend this property!

We can’t stop saying to each other how lucky we have found this cottage style home. Amy must be an artist because she has the most unique decorations. The house is old, but very well kept and clean. Both inside & outside (the yard) of the house is picture ready. The house located in a quiet neighborhood, and It is about 15 mins from Portland old town. If any of you are in search of a place to stay for your up coming trip look no further. This is the house!

Beautiful inside and out. Gorgeous fall colors all around the property. Inside filled with personality. Larger than you think. Takes a little time to understand the workings of the house. I recommend the place for anyone wanting the convenience of being near the bigger city but with a more rural flair.

Renting was easy, the property was adorable and clean. The shower was hot and bed downstairs was really comfortable.

Great place with easy access to Portland and surrounding towns. Only issue would be for people who trip easily—some rugs aren’t secured.
