The house was beautiful. It was perfect for our family, even though we didnt spend much time in the house. Our boys spent the majority of the time in the pool. We spent the mornings on the dock looking for manatees. Perfect way to get away from the Minnesota winters. Management was easy to get ahold of. Well for sure be back!

The home was perfect for us. Great location, nice amenities. Pool was good size. You have an electric allowance so if you heat the pool you will go over that but it was very reasonable. Being on the canal was relaxing. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful house in a beautiful and quiet street. This is not a standard rental house, but a real residential home. The smart layout of the house and the high-quality furnishings ensure that you will lack nothing. The pool heating worked perfectly and provided wonderfully warm water even in the winter month. The photos and description on VRBO.com are accurate. Contact with the owner and the manager was friendly and easy.

Very relaxing. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. The pool was awesome and the sunsets were amazing.

The villa was beautiful and very clean. GreT to have bikes, pool toys/ floats, and beach chairs in the garage. I wasnt aware a representative would be meeting us at the house for a check out process. We were a bit surprised when someone showed up at the door at 9am and we were still all in our pajamas. Other than that small inconvenience, the house was great.

We really enjoyed our spring break week here! Very quiet neighborhood, beautiful water view out back, and a nice house with lots of amenities. The pool is heated, which was perfect for Florida's March weather. The kitchen is really well stocked, and there is a grill outback, which made it really easy to cook great seafood meals at the house.

I wanted to make sure that I posted a review for this vrbo listing and our experience. Christina was the utmost professional when it comes to customer service/support. We had difficulty with our flights (canceled at gate). We were unable to get there when initially booked, Christina worked along side of us to make sure that we had the accommodations for our family upon arrival to Florida. I cannot say enough regarding the relief this provided to us. Regarding our stay at the property. It was exactly as described and pictured. The checkin process was easy, we didn't arrive until 4 a.m. We were exhausted and everything was ready and inviting and rest was needed. Beds slept well. Our family was busy throughout the week, grandchildren 11 and 8 so we went to the beach, water park, top golf, etc. On off days we simply enjoyed Christina's home and relaxed. The perfect retreat. Access to many things in the area was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and beautifully lined with palm trees. We truly had a rough start but it was a good good week and we simply cannot say enough about our experience. Please consider, you will not be disappointed. Great house. Very clean with everything we needed. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to grocery stores and restaurants (by car). Very comfortable for 3 adult couples.

Good trip - construction was challenging - but owner was very accomodating

The house is spacious, very clean and comes with a well stocked kitchen, beach accessories, bikes and is in a great location on a quiet palm tree lined street. Christina was very responsive with any questions we had. The pool was warm and we swam everyday even though it was the middle of winter. We also enjoyed riding the bikes, fishing in the canal and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to stay here again next year.

Everything was wonderful. The house had everything you could ever need. The pool was fabulous and the view of the canal. The street that the house is on is beautiful! Would definitely go back!

This property & owner are top notch. The house was immaculate, loaded with a ton of amenities. The owner gives you so much information about the area that feel like you have a huge step up on navigating the area. From restaurants, shopping, boat rentals & local tours. The location of the house is really great. It’s just far enough from Cape Coral downtown to seem like you actually live here, yet close enough to drive there in under 10 minutes. The canal in the back of the property was so relaxing to listen to all the birds & fish that would try to entertain us. The beaches here are unbelievable, our favorite was the Gulfside City Park on Sanibel Island. We found hundreds of sand dollars & we even found a starfish. Parking was a little expensive, but totally worth it. The property managers where very friendly & super helpful. Our blender broke on the first day and they had it replaced within an hour. The pool heat didn’t work when they gave us the walk through on Saturday morning. Kat & Lee stopped by less than two hours later and let us know it was fixed. I would highly recommend this property over any other stay I have had in the past. The owner’s description about the property and the helpful information made an easy decision.

The property was beautiful and Christina and the property manager were both easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our family; we loved spending the day swimming and being outside. We would love to come back again next year!

We had a great time staying here! The pool was such a hit and overlooking the beautiful canal of Cape Coral. Of note, like others have said it is rather far from the locks (45 minute boat ride) but once you get out we had an amazing time driving out to the Gulf and playing on the shores of Sanibel and Captiva (so MANY sanddollars!) This vacation home literally has EVERYTHING- so much so, we brought items on our trip we didn't need to because they have everything SO stocked (extra beach towels, beach and pool toys, beach cruisers even noticed a car and booster seat for those that may need it). We loved our time here and beautiful sunsets on the dock! Don't miss Rumrunners happy hour- some HUGE shrimp for just $6 and you can park the boat (def recommend renting one). Just returned from an amazing stay at this listing. Everything was as described and then some. Home was spotless and bright, everything was labeled for easy navigation, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Thankfully, we rented a boat for the week as there was construction going on next door, however Christina let us know prior to our stay. For us, it was a non-issue. We traveled by boat all week and explored places like Picnic Island, Lighthouse Beach in Sanibel, Cayo Costa in Captiva, and a bunch of dockside restaurants along the way. All were incredible. As someone mentioned previously, the distance from the house to the lock was a little further than expected (approx 27 min lol) however it gave us time to take in all the beauty around us including beautiful homes, boats, and even some fins from dolphin sightings. All and all, it was an incredible trip. Would absolutely return in a minute - actually tomorrow as we're from CT and it's been cold and raining since we returned home. Take us back!!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Villa Palms! From the initial booking to the check-in process, everything went so smoothly. Communication with Christina, the homeowner, and Vanessa, the representative from the management company, was excellent - both were very responsive. Christina and Vanessa even worked together behind the scenes to get us checked in earlier than expected, which was great as we were ready to start our vacation after a 22 hour drive! The house was very clean and ready for our stay with everything we needed! An added benefit to the house was that it was right on the waterway and had a boat dock - we took Christina's recommendation and booked a boat rental for the week and it was delivered right to the dock! Our family enjoyed the house, pool, and boat for a wonderful family getaway that we will remember for years to come! Thank you, Christina and Todd, for making your beautiful home available! Perfect for our week vacation. A little far from the lock on the canal but other than that it was awesome.

Very clean, comfortable and pretty house. Well equipped with everything working properly. The neighborhood is beautiful with lots of pretty houses around. Only minor annoyance was the construction going on around that was very loud but we were previously made aware that would be noise while staying at the house. We all enjoyed our vacation very much!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Villa Royal Palms! The house was perfectly equipped for our family of five, with three children under 6. Having the pack and play, pool safety gate, and high chair, made traveling with children much easier and better enabled us to relax at this gorgeous home. The home is so lovely in person, and the homeowner’s communication and care made this an excellent choice for booking. We absolutely loved all of Christina and Todd’s recommendations for restaurants- especially The Lobster Lady in Cape Coral; A perfect place to order out and enjoy dinner in the lanai. Taking a week made for a nice balance of being able to relax and enjoy “home days” at the pool, and adventure days shelling at Sanibel Island. If you are reading this review, look no further. This is the house! Trust me! I shop for rentals relentlessly. This home is outstanding. We are a family of 5 (three small children) and we had so much space to enjoy our stay. My two youngest shared a king size bed, which they loved. My oldest had a queen to himself. My husband and I had another king. This house is on the prettiest street in Cape Coral. The Palms Trees will take your breath away. We were in awe every time we drove home. The house was spotless. Everything worked well. We used the grill a few times. We appreciated the 3 different kinds of coffee makers provided, so we had options on coffee choices. There is so much good about this home that is hard to put all into words. You will feel happy, as we did, you selected this place. The Pool! What can I tell you. Amazing. My kids didnt want to leave the house. They spent hours upon hours in the pool. The water was warm. We enjoyed seeing fish leap in the air and boats drive by. We enjoyed some amazing meals outside by the pool as a family. We truly made memories. We loved everything about our stay. Few suggestions: There is Aldi by hwy 78. Shop there. Amazing prices. Great food. Go and have dinner at the Blue Dog in Matlacha. We ate there 4 times in our 9 days stay. If you have children take the drive to Gatorama. Amazing places to see alligators in their natural habitat. Drive to Sanibel was a bit long, but we went 4 times and enjoyed good shelling on the beaches. Anyway, the house is amazing. Very clean. A lot of space. Kitchen is well stocked. Grill is full and works. All appliances are in good working order. Communication with the owner was prompt and polite. Christina is an amazing host. Enjoy!

We had such an amazing time at your home. It was very inviting and we loved the decorations. There were so many amenities and the sound system was so awesome that I am buying one for myself now. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in there. The only thing that I regretted was not staying longer. Hopefully I have an opportunity to stay again in the future. The house was fantastic! It had everything we could possibly need. The patio was great, and the pool was larger than we expected!! We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Wonderful home, found everything to be as expected. Easy drive to restaurants & shopping. The guests that stayed at the end of house with the kitchen on it, said they heard the ice maker and water filter working, more so at night. Without carpeting in the house it can be a bit echoing/loud. But other then that, very comfortable surroundings and would love to rent again.
