It was a great area to stay in. We had a great holiday!

Great place to stay. My son-in-law and I fished every day while my daughter and the rest of the family enjoyed the pool.

If you weren’t aware, Hernando Beach isn’t a beach. We thought we were renting in Weeki Wachee-wrong. Rechecked the VRBO listing & our error. We had a few issues but Linda tried to fix. After rereading reviews, some of our issues were the same issues that were addressed over a year ago. We’re used to renting high end homes. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of those. It could be with a little refreshing. Part of what bothered me was that it just didn’t feel like anyone really cared about this property. It could have been a real showstopper but there were lots of nails with no photos/art, old furniture and wires hanging which used to connect to things. One sliding door doesn’t even lock. The pool was unusable. It was filled with tiny bugs that just floated on top of the water because the skimmer didn’t work. Part of that is probably cause from a torn screen on the lanai (which Linda did have a repair man come and look at while we were there). The cleaning person was still there when we tried checking in at 4:00 so we finally checked in around 5:30 but the smell of bleach was so overwhelming we had to open all doors and air it out and then we couldn’t get the house to cool down, so sleeping that first night was unpleasant. Bar floor wasn’t cleaned, there were 2 huge dead bugs on floor. Par for the course in Fl. We went to strip beds before we left, there was a fishing hook under one pillow. We never fished. Wasn’t horrible but wouldn’t return. Not worth the $$

The house had plenty of room but is extremely dated. My husband kept hitting his head on the low hanging 70s lights. The light switches were also in weird locations and the bedrooms were awkwardly shaped. We just used the master which was very spacious. The dock was great for our 24 foot boat and we enjoyed the pool after a long day out in the sun. The house has a lot of potential. It just needs some love.

Wonderful home.

It was perfect for us and the listing was just as described. Everything was very clean and very 70's (we wish we had brought a 70's outfit for some very cool pictures) - we loved it! There is a tiny garage with 2 really nice bikes. The area is very quiet. If you read all the reviews like I did it seems like the property owner sees them and fixes any problems. There was a really nice pool skimmer, but the pool was very clean so we didn't need it, there were lounge chairs (but I brought my own), and there is basically everything needed for fishing. We hope to go back again next year - it is my husband new favorite place.

The house was plenty big, in good location, and overall pleasant. Pool heater didn't work for first couple days but Linda made sure to get it fixed for us and was very pleasant to deal with.

This is our third year staying here and hope to be able to stay again next year.

The property was as described and Linda was extremely responsive. The pool and hot tub were absolutely wonderful! We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it!

Property was clean and spacious. We lived the pool and hot tub, used it daily! Makes traveling with pets great! We also enjoyed using the bikes. Wish there would have been kayaks on site to use, however, there are several places down the road to rent and enjoy the springs. Would definitely go back again!

Spent a week here with my parents who winter nearby for Christmas. Great house in a quiet neighborhood. Pool area and dock are great for sitting out. Was thankful pets were allowed and I could bring my pup on the trip. Nice to have the fenced in yard. Only issue is the hot tub would not heat up. Still was a great stay.

Quiet neighborhood. Small town feel with friendly people. Nice pool and spa. The home was equipped with all the necessities. Close to Walmart. Great experience! We hope to be back here someday soon!

Stayed solo overnight and my adult kids who live local came and hung out daily. They fished in the canal and swam in the pool. I did a lot of cooking like old times. Great area and tons of restaurants if that’s your thing. We particularly like the silver dolphin

Linda was a gracious host, easy to contact her if a need came up. Easy to check in and out. Really enjoyed the pool since there are not many places to swim in area. Most all of our needs were provided at the house, saving us from bringing from home or buying. Had a nice time.

Very nice house.

We arrived at 4:30 pm on the day of check in, check in was 4pm and beyond we tried for almost 35 minutes to get in with the code provided by the property manager it did not work and they weren't answering our call. We finally found an open back door so we could get our 1 year old infant in the home and out of the car ac. Home was hot. We filled the fridge with almost $200 with food which we lost about $80 of from the fridge being warm all night . Contacted the property manager and they had an appliance repair tech right out who said nothing was wrong, yet we still lost the food some of which was frozen when we put it into the fridge. The house get's extremely HOT during the day and the A/C isn't able to keep up. The room with the queen bed is an add on from a portion of the garage and does not ever get cool, it also had a black banana peel under the bed. The pool was ok very dirty there was no skimmer to clean the bugs or dirt from it. There was also a charge if you wanted to have the hot tub get hot. The property manager Linda was very kind, but our experience was not a good one and it was our Granddaughters first family vacation and our first vacation with our Airmen since he was deployed. Very disappointed in our trip!

This property was absolutely fantastic. Close to beach access and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot for family and friends. If you like to kayak . Close to Weeki Wachee springs.We enjoy the house perfect for all we wanted.

The house and location is beautiful. Linda the property manager made our stay wonderful and answered all of our questions. We even got to see dolphins in the canal.

We stayed there the first week in April. Everything was great! The pool and hot tub were used everynight after our long days out adventuring. Great location to sit outside on the deck and relax. Kids caught a couple of fish as well. Short distance to Weeki Wachee and crystal river where we went kayaking and out to some great restaurants. Really enjoyed the Upper Deck! Linda was great as well with anything that we had questions a out. Very quick and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who looking for a place to stay. We will be back! Thanks again!

I have told so many people about this property! We had the time of our lives here. Talk about a home away from home. The peace and tranquility we were able to find on this property are without parallel. The property manager Linda was an angel. She helped make our stay smooth as butter. It was easy to contact her and she was prompt with resolution. My husband lost his wedding band and we spent days searching. We informed Linda and the next guests actually ended up locating it. Linda mailed it back to us, and refused any compensation. There isn't enough space here to write about how satisfied we all were about this experience. The pool and hotub made it so magical, we ate 90% of our meals out there! We didn't get to use the bar area, but it's really such a uniquely set up home. If you're looking for a spot to unwind and let go of your stress, this is it. 😉 Highly recommend!!

Linda was very accommodating and responsive with any questions we had. She was pleasant and kind. We enjoyed staying at the house very much. We used the pool and hot tub every night. It’s an older house so it’s not perfect, but that’s ok. You will pay 1000/night for perfect. It was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again

The house is great and nicely equipped with amenities. The pool is nice, especially for new swimmers. There are ledges/seats on multiple sides of the pool. The location is great, we didn't rent a boat, but the house is perfect for anyone that does.

Linda was great! She helped with any thing that we needed. Great house and location. We will be back!

The home is self-contained entertainment. My nephew fished from the dock every day, we swam in the heated pool which, in cool weather, took about six hours to get to about 84 degrees. That is normal especially with the temp drop. We isolated the hot tub every day as well and that takes about a half hour to hour to get to 90 degrees+ but never to 100 degrees+. I like it that way and we all enjoyed it. We were 15 mins from the Springs and we did Kayak. We did one day at Universal. That was a little less than 2 hours. We had fami; ly over and it is easy to entertain. My nephew enjoyed the television which apparently was easy to get going. I never used it. Our dog preferred the front yard as well. We walked the neighborhood to the gulf views every day and it was about 6K steps from the door to the end of the neighborhood. I did ride one of the bikes but I prefer walking but it is a nice way to see the neighborhood that is a mix of 1980's built homes and much newer ones as well. The neighbors across the canal chatted us up and everyone waived when we walked the neighborhood. The home being a VRBO appears to be well known. The guy at the bait shop knew where we were. We had a nice dinner at the Lazy Lizard. There is live music on the weekends. We did take out from Bryan's. Overall, easy, smooth, nice. Very easy with kids and pets.

The house had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were awesome. Close to some great restaurants.

We loved it! The house us stocked great and Linda is awesome. We will Definitely be back.... the pool and hottub combo is great as well!

Beautiful home on the water, loved the pool!!! We brought our boat and kept it right at the dock!!
