Our group of 10 (60+ year old) women (sisters, cousins, friends from HS) loved our time at the CooL HouSe! The house is beautiful and very well equipped with everything in the kitchen! The beds were comfortable! The house outlets were the same as ours in the US. Each bathroom had a hairdryer, too. The views of the cove from the house were so calming and scenic. We enjoyed walks on the beach (take some water shoes-beautiful but abundant shells on the beach), sunsets, and plenty of room to gather for games and conversation! The pool is a saltwater pool--water was cold and refreshing! The house also has 2 kayaks and 1 paddle board. Michel, the house manager, was so helpful! She arranged our transfers to and from the airport. She was able to find us a golf cart(!) to rent for the week! Michel provisioned our house with a list we had given her. She booked us at Akropolis for dinner, which was amazing! Aris, the owner arranged for special appetizer platters to start us off! We also had dinner at Basilico, another favorite place! But our favorite was the chef Michel found for us! Sira was truly amazing! She fixed dinner for us on our first night, which put us right into "vacay" mood! We loved her so much, we asked her to come back later in the week. Her cooking is amazing and her personality was so warm and welcoming! She even brought us a surprise the first night that will be treasured forever! The golf cart was great for getting to the grocery and Jolly Beach. It was $125 for the week. We also used Randy as our driver to dinners in Jolly Harbour--about $40-50 roundtrip from our house to restaurants in Jolly Harbour. He was great! Very friendly! We went on the Adventure Extreme Circumnavigate Cruise, which we loved! David, Arian, and Tyrese (the ships crew) took us around the island, stopping at several places to swim, snorkel, have lunch and also included a stop to Stingray City to hold a stingray! They made the trip so entertaining with their funny jokes and great personalities! We got to see (from the water) Devil's Bridge, Hell's Gate, Pillars of Hercules, Armani's house, Eric Clapton's house and so much more! The grocery in Jolly Harbour is one of the largest on the island. That said, some items were still hard to find. But you can buy liquor, wine and beer there. Try the French yogurt--really wonderful! The people we met in Antigua were so friendly! We loved this island! **Need CASH for taxis, chef, trips and tips!**

The property was amazing. The property manager was excellent. The pool and beach beautiful. We had a chef come in for dinner every evening and I would definitely recommend. There are only a couple of dining options within Jolly Harbor. That’s why we opted for the Miguel (the chef). Would would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Cool House exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect but highly recommend renting golf carts to get around the area. The house manager, Michal, was great and had the kitchen stocked for us upon arrival. She was available during our stay when we had questions or needed help. Michal also arranged a private chef for our group, and her food was incredible! Her name was Sira. Overall, the property was very clean and actually feels more open than the pictures indicate. The private beach is steps from the pool and there are some areas around the cove for snorkeling but the visibility is a little better as you explore around the other side of the cove from the house. The grocery store down the street had a wide selection of food, snacks, and beer/wine/liquor. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and just wish we could have stayed a little longer, so if you are considering extending your trip when making plans, you will not be disappointed. We plan on returning again in the future!

Really can't say enough good things about this property, accommodation is amazing, location fantastic - just loved everything.

Amazing property!! Pictures don't do it justice!! You will NOT be disappointed with your stay here or the very secure and secluded neighborhood. We preferred to stay mostly at the house vs trekking out. Road conditions and traffic were especially bad when we were on the island with some much needed construction. Nice grocery store just at the entrance into Jolly Harbor as well as a great smoothie/food truck. You will not regret booking this property!!

I loved this home. My family and I had a wonderful time. The views are amazing. The flow of the house was perfect. We had Miguel come in and cook for us a few nights. Loved Miguel and loved the food. Michele, our point of contact was great also. I would love to go back.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had a slight hiccup on arrival and the house was not ready for us. There was a miscommunication between the owner and the property manager and agent but it was all sorted in the end. The house was perfect for a family of 3 (12) of all ages. Great location and the house just perfect for chilling and entertaining the kids. On the days that we went out exploring we all could not wait to rather get back to the house to enjoy the beach and pool. No need to explore too much with a house like this. Thank you to the agent for all your assistance and recommendations. We hope to be back to the COOL HOUSE one day.

I have rented numerous villas in Antigua, and this is by far the best rental to date. The house is well appointed, the bedroom suites were impeccable. The house by far exceeded other homes at the same price point. The house is beautiful and sits right on the beach. All of the rooms were well appointed and private. The furnishings were excellent and well maintained. There were only a few issues during our stay, none of which had to do with the house PerSe: The house manager was off the island because she had to deal with an emergency regarding her son. The person covering did not show us how to use the various mechanicals for the house, and we had to figure it out ourselves. The TV did not work (except Disney+), and this issue was never addressed during our entire stay. There were other simple things like toilet paper running out and poor water pressure in the primary bedroom suite. The woman covering was non-responsive and did not return any of my calls. I had to contact the house manager's husband to resolve issues. While the house manager's husband was very responsive, he did not know how to fix the TV issue or the water pressure. I am optimistic that we would not have had any of these issues if the house manager had been on the island. And I would rent this house again and highly recommend it.

The most wonderful vacation! Couldn’t have asked for more. The Cool House was amazing, large enough for our crew of 10 but was very comfortable and inviting. The pool and beach area was wonderful. The owners, house manager were very nice and accommodating. Chef Sira and sous Johne were very friendly and accommodating not to mention the delicious food they prepared for us. This home is a must. You will not be sorry. We hated to leave. Antigua was wonderful but the home with all the amenities and the Chef made it over the top!

This property is amazing. You wake up in the morning to beautiful rainbows over the Caribbean. The large screens in the back of the house open up to bring the outside in. The common areas were perfect for the 8 of us. The property provided paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs and noodles. There were beach towels available for all. We did hire a chef to cook for the week, which was perfect. There is only one grocery store near the home, so the chef knew other places to shop. Highly recommend renting gulf carts to get around the small community. If you want relaxation, this is the place to come. If you are looking for more of a njght life type of experience, you may want to look elsewhere. The property manager was available in a very timely manner. Strongly suggest bringing cash with you. The services people (think taxi, etc) only take cash. Enjoy!

Cool House is simply brilliant. The house is fantastic. There were 3 families of 4 and plenty of space. The pool and communal space was fab. The location wears perfect. We could not have wished for better.Michele was brilliant at communications and very helpful with planning. We ate at some good local restaurants and also had many meals in the villa. We would not change a thing. Thank you

We stayed at this property last week and it lived up to the posting. Fantastic property in a great location. This house is setup to entertain and perfect for larger family gatherings or reunions. We were a family of 5 with 3 kids under 11 and my in laws. Everyone had their own private spaces and we could have easily had another family of 4-5 with us and not felt on top of each other. The main living spaces were perfect. We kept commenting all week on how much thought was given to the layout and function of this space. We have stayed at many nicer homes throughout the Caribbean and always have recommendations or thoughts on things to improve upon or change. However this property was almost flawless from our perspective on design and function. The pool and beach area were perfect for the kids to enjoy in the morning while we were relaxing and getting ready to head out to the beaches. The upstairs Sun deck was great to enjoy a drink and the stars at night. The open living concept with the screens that come down was amazing. They also have mosquito machines to reduce numbers around the house/property. Those in our party that usually get nailed by bugs commented on how few they really had in comparison. The kitchen was also very well stocked with anything and everything you could need on a vacation. Jolly Harbor is a wonder area of the island with a nice island grocery store, couple restaurants and some nice beaches close by. We were big fans of Ffryes beach and Hermitage Bay when we were there. Both were empty and great for swimming with kids. Although we were told that cruise ships do offer excursions to Ffryes so you may want to check that schedule before going for a day if you don’t like crowds. Michal our house manager was great from reservation throughout our stay. Answering any questions we had as well as stopping by when we had a user error on the safe. Very responsive. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great house in Jolly Harbor.

We stayed at Cool House with our 3 adult children and a sister and her adult children. We went to Antigua for a family wedding and spent time at Jolly Habor before the festivities. The accomodations and private setting were spectacular. We loved the access to a great supermarket and the restaurants as well.

Our stay was wonderful. We have stayed at many villas and this was one of our favorite villas ever. The views were beautiful, the rooms fit our group, and we will be back to this little slice of paradise.

Words or pictures can’t begin to describe this AMAZING property! It is truly breathtaking and the most perfect villa for family and friends traveling together. The private pool, outdoor areas with lounging, dining and pool table plus the beach right off the back were perfect! Loved being away from the crowds of the larger resorts and having our own private area to enjoy! Everything ran smoothly from the reservation, check in/checkout and management team being available for anything additional we needed! We cannot recommend this villa enough!!

Where do I start? The view is absolutely amazing! The property is beautiful and Amir and Michal were great to work with. Anytime we had any requests or needs they were on it. I could write a book but I won’t. Don’t hesitate to book this property! The only thing I can say I wish it had a more swimmable beach. Water/beach were beautiful, but it is a harbor so you could only go out so far if you’re a water snob like me. LOL LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!

This house was perfect in every aspect. It allowed us to unwind and relax. The wifi as indicated does go out on occasion but the managers are right on top of ANYTHING you need. I HIGHLY recommend this property. Very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Definitely will stay again.

This was our second stay at this property. Everything was exceptional--the view, the house, the amenities, Chef Miguel. Our week seemed way too short. Covid was a little pain for our travel plans but the property managers were very attentive to our additional travel needs.

Our long term plan for our family vacation encountered a big hiccup...Covid. We had to make a few adjustments, but could not have chosen a more ideal house and location for spending time in paradise with our adult children and granddaughter. We had to cook for ourselves, but the house is so well equipped my very talented children were able to prepare fantastic meals. The layout of the house is wonderful, the beds terrific, and the indoor outdoor living couldn't be better. We are all hoping to return again next year.

Cool HouSe is a tremendous property, designed to be open to the beautiful Caribbean climate, right on the beach, great kitchen, dining and living areas and a lovely pool. Great choice!

As we walked up the steps and into the courtyard we felt transported into a world of luxury. The house is well thought out in every detail and is in excellent condition. Our family loved the layout and really enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, which was equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the full outdoor living experience and the ability to lower the screens in the evenings to limit flying insects. The views from the main living areas and pool deck are straight from a postcard. So good in fact, not a single person watched TV the entire trip! We really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayak and went out every day on the water. Also, the Sonos sound system is top notch. Rhea was great and made us feel welcome and at home immediately. The only helpful things I can add are: 1. Bring bug spray if you are planning on putting the screens up. 2. The beach has a lot of shells, so water shoes are helpful if you have sensitive feet. 3. The outdoor shower in the courtyard is amazing! Overall, this is a stunning property and we had a fabulous time!
