A 5 minutos andando de la estación de tren, un sitio agradable y la mujer que nos atendió fue de gran ayuda.

Al abrir la mosquitera soltó mucho polvo, pero en realidad no hacía falta porque no vimos mosquitos. Hay muchas escaleras para acceder al alojamiento.

La hospitalidad de la familia que gestiona el alojamiento es encantadora. El precio está bien por lo que ofrecen. Las habitaciones están bien pero estás rodeado de naturaleza y hay algún que otro bicho rondando por la habitación y por la noche nos llevamos algún que otro susto por ruidos pero a la mañana siguiente nos dijeron que era el gato que tienen que le gusta ponerse en los tejados de las habitaciones con sus amigos gatitos

Morgenmaden bestod af Omelet, der var rigtig god. Toast og marmelade efterfulgt af lidt frugt. Mere kan man ikke forvente. Vi fik også aftensmad på stedet og det var rigtig godt. Værtinden var en ren engel. Kundeservice er højeste prioritet hos hende. Fredeligt område. I gåafstand til byens natteliv. Her er en dejlig stemning, som man også oplever hos EllaGreenStay.

Parkeringsforhold var ikke som forventet. Meget smalle tilkørselforhold. Adgang til overnatningsstedet over flere trapper, som kan være glatte i vådt vejr. Ikke optimalt for gangbesværede.

Great breakfast and conveninet location - close to the centre and the railway station.

It was a lovely stay! The family was really nice, friendly and helpful. They provided us with useful information such as bus timetable and what to visit around Ella. We even got a ride to another city for free and because of the rain, they borrowed us umbrellas. The breakfast was delicious.

Amazing location, great value for money and super helpful and friendly staff! We were so looked after and the breakfast included was amazing!

We had excellent service all the way through our stay. Breakfast was served efficiently as soon as we arrived. Information on buses and scooter rental was arranged at a good price.

Fantastic stay in Ella. Beautiful location - secluded yet only a short walk from the train station and town. Great room with comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast. Run by a lovely family. Dil was so kind and cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan meal one night. She went out of her way to enhance our stay. Great area outside room to sit and relax after a busy day. Small enough to be a peaceful environmentally friendly retreat. Exceptional value for money. Will return.

- very very nice owner (it’s a family-run business, a english-speaker lady is the reference ) - possibility to have dinner on request: we had a delicious rice&curry. the lady cooked for kids no-spicy food. - mosquito nets on each bed - comfy mattress - hot shower - location

I would recommend, to satisfy better western tourists requirements: - small soap on the bathroom, just to wash your hands - de-humidifier to remove a bit humidity - more clothes hangers

They r cheaters! Took the money without our stay!

We came to property in the evening, and they said us that they rent room already for somebody else! Then we spent 3 hours to look around and find another place by our budget (btw we paid double! Coz of this situation) 4 pax with bags, in middle of nowhere in dark time. AND THEY TOOK MONEY AS «not show» Booking have to take action and check that property well! We text to support center 2 times, no one response! Be sure they r not trusted! I hope this page will remove from booking, they steal money!

Good, quiet location close to the station.Lovely staff, good sized breakfast, hard but comfortable beds

A bit hard to find, no clear signs so had to ask a neighbouring property. And it is a bit dark on approach so carrying a torch is advised for uneven ground/ stairs on approach.

Clean and well-maintained room. Mosquito nets for each bed and towels available. The owner very welcoming and helpful, the breakfasts good, plentiful and varied. We also took advantage of the option to dine in the guest house: also good and plentiful meals. The guest house is in a very strategic location: 5 minutes walk from the center and the train station (so out of the chaos but very convenient).

No words to say about the host, they were fantastic very polite and helping personalities. gives every information about the place and also always asked the guest to anything required. Absolutely wonderful stay.

Only one thing that the vehicle cant reached the premise. We have to get there by climbing a few steps, but i think its not a big issue since you got a good service from the host.

Dill is such a great host and chef! We felt very welcome and at home with her family. The rooms are perfect for a short stay in Ella.

I stay here for the second time. everything is wonderful. everything you need to relax: hot water, wi-fi, fresh air, quiet place, comfortable beds. I recommend! 5 stars! Will come again next year!

the host was amazing, she helped us with everything! our bags got lost and she helps us with that problem, we are so grateful. as two girls we felt very safe!

Wi-Fi was a bit slow running sometimes

Host was great, very courteous. Place was clean and comfy. Comfortable beds. Newly built, looks almost like a 3 star western hotel room. It was like a home away from home. Close to Ella Railway Station (about 500 m).

No access to a microwave. Steep climb to get there. Not a difficult thing for young and healthy but if you have elderly family members or someone with mobility issues, this could be a drag. No clear directions/signboards leading to the front entrance to the property.
