Excellent stay at a very unique property. The only improvement would be to add a third toilet (perhaps powder room with a shower). Loved the game-room.

Plenty of beds for everyone, towels, linens, dishes all clean. Loved the property, plenty to do nearby as well as games and entertainment in the house!

Huge place and nice getaway

Cecilia is a great host. The place was perfect for all 21 of us. The beds were comfy, and we loved the games in the game room. The kitchen is very well stocked and the hot is probably the cleanest one we’ve had at any place we’ve rented . Close to Baker and the local bar. We had an awesome weekend!

Cecelia & Seth’s ski cabin was perfect. We had a large group which the house accommodated easily. The location was perfect. Right by the ski and coffee shops, just down the road from Chair 9, and an easy drive to Baker to grab the first chair up. I would highly recommend this cabin.

I couldn't imagine a more accommodating and well placed house for our annual guys trip. This house made it possible to make a million memories and offers a unique layout with plenty of space. Cecelia and Seth were quick to respond and helpful with any and all questions. This house made Mt Baker a truly incredible trip. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back!

This massive house was perfect for everyone! It was fully equipped, had lots of space and something to do for everyone. Really easy to get to and close to a corner store. Would definitely go back!

My family and friends stayed 3 nights at this house and we had a blast! There were more than enough sleeping areas, a great room that was perfect for lounging in and watching football. (You’ll need to stream to watch). The massage chair was a hit but the Sauna took first place! The game room in the garage was awesome, we played pool and air hockey almost nonstop. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage which was great for beers! There are trails all around for some good hiking. We happened upon a skate park out in the woods, interesting and unexpected find! We skied a day at Baker, about a 30 minute drive from the house. Not too shabby! All in all, I recommend staying here, especially if you have a large group! The owners communication was great!

We had a great weekend staying at this house while skiing! The house is well suited for a group of friends with a well stocked kitchen and a hot tub. There is plenty of parking and lots of privacy. I would highly recommend this house for a stay in the Glacier area! Cecelia and Seth were great hosts with great communication.

Great place for families to hang out! Our weather was not good enough to go out and explore but we were all happy with the indoor activities. We had a great time!

We enjoyed the privacy of this property and the ample parking. The house we exactly what was advertised. We had some trouble with the hot tub but that could have just been our inability to understand the instructions that were very clearly laid out. Lots of towels and one of the best stocked kitchens. As with most rentals the frying pans are not the best but that’s because other guests have not taken care of them so I would (as I always do) recommend bringing your one if you’re particular. They were usable. The garage game room is so awesome as you can open up the doors to the outside.

We loved this cabin! Lots of sleeping space for our group & plenty of activities for everyone. If you wanted to be outdoors there was hiking, outdoor games & a fire pit for evenings. Indoors was a game room with a pool table, Foose ball, poker table, board games, etc. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a large group. If there was any drawback it’s that there were only two bathrooms. But we made it work. All in all a fun place to stay & I know we’ll be back.

Unfortunately we found bed bugs in one of the rooms at the end of our stay. We arrived to the property on Friday July 15 at night and through Saturday and Sunday some of our friends complained about being itchy, which we attributed to the large amount of mosquitos being outside. However by Monday morning a few hours before we were set to leave, every person staying in the loft room with the pullout beds woke up covered in multiple bed bug bites and one of our friends even had an allergic reaction. After inspecting the loft beds you could even see the bugs crawling on the sheets. We woke up the entire house to warn them and started pulling the bedsheets for more signs of bed bugs and immediately started washing and drying all our clothes to make sure we didn't bring a possible infestation back to our homes. This process took a few hours as we had multiple people in the house and had to do several loads of laundry. We informed the property owner of the bed bugs and that we were still trying to sanitize our clothes by checkout time, and the property owner showed up to tell us that we had to leave immediately because the next guests were set to arrive. We reiterated that there were bed bugs in the beds and showed pictures of the bugs and that it would be unsafe to let other guests stay without a proper inspection, but still the owner was more concerned about getting us out of the house and letting the next guests in. Checkout time was at 11 and we left at 1:30 after we'd finished the last load of laundry and as soon as we left we got charged with a late checkout fee and they claimed a pest company examined the place (we never saw anyone else show up). We just wanted to make sure our stuff was clean before we left to prevent spreading, this was all incredibly stressful, some of us had flights to get to and places to be so its not like we wanted to delay on purpose. Just terrible experience, wish we could warn the next guests.

We had a fantastic time with family. My grandson, Matthew, a chef, did all the cooking. What a plus. Family did a lot of hiking, playing pool, cards and other games beside just sitting around relaxing and catching up. If I changed anything I would hope to have a hand rail on the on the bottom of the stairs.

This house has everything you want and need! The location is unbeatable, so close to Mt Baker with the forest view from the back yard. There's even a cute coffee shop a short walk away. We had a large group and everyone had a great time. The game room was so fun and even had a fantastic record collection. There were plenty of towels for use after a relaxing hot tub, sauna, or shower. Cecelia & Seth are wonderful friendly hosts and provided great info before our stay and responded quickly to my questions. I would absolutely recommend this cabin if you're looking for a fun nature getaway. We will be returning.

Very warm and cozy house for the winter. We had a wonderful white New Years celebration and a beautiful cross country skiing experience on the first of January at Salmon Ridge Sno-Park, which has groomed ski trails. The hosts were very helpful, always responding quickly, on time.

Great space for a large group. The game room is a plus!

We had a great time hiking in the area and coming back to relax at the house. Really liked that we could walk to the coffee shop in the mornings while still feeling surrounded by nature.

The house and property are perfect, especially for our small reception! There was enough games amd activities to keep everyone entertained and enough room in the yard to play soccer and football. Everyone was very pleased with the house. Definitely will be booking with Cecilia and Seth again!!!

We had a fantastic time at Baker Haus with extended family! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It was nice to have so many beds. The rec room especially was a hit, and the record collection was fun. I loved the private, wooded location and enjoyed the easy walk to town. Although the kitchen is well-stocked, we ate out several times. The pizza and nachos at Chair 9 were quite good. We wanted to experience the history and quirky-ness of Graham’s, so we ate there as well, and had some great burgers and fries. The Wake and Bakery is a must for coffee or breakfast. The location is perfect for some amazing hikes in the area. Horseshoe Bend Trail follows the North Fork of the Nooksack River was very easy. Some of the more adventurous in our group hiked Heliotrope Ridge. So beautiful! The only thing I wish I had known before coming is that the rec room and downstairs bedroom is three steps down from the kitchen/dining room level (good to know for the older ones in our family) and that the kitchen/dining room does not have a living area directly adjacent to it. We definitely would stay here again! Great house in a perfect location!

We had a great time at Baker Haus. We were impressed with the collection of movies and records, and we enjoyed the large and well-stocked rec room. Will definitely be looking to return sometime!

Great place. Has a small sauna and jacuzzi. Has great hang out places. I totally recommend this place. The only negative is that it feels old, the door to the jacuzzi didn’t close and open well. Little things here and there. But generally it’s a great place for a big crowd.

The were a few broken and outdated items in the home (a massage chair, some arcade games). When we arrived the staircase going up to the loft was missing some back pieces which made it unsafe for the kiddos going up and down. Also, the couch in the garage/play room was falling apart and kinda dirty. It didn’t look very pleasant and we didn’t spend as much time in there as we would’ve liked. Otherwise, everything else was great. The hot tub and sauna were a huge plus. The bathrooms, though few, were big and spacious. I would come here again, but only if a few items were fixed/changed to improve the space.

We loved the location and the scenery. There were plenty of beds for everyone. Our only issue was the hot water was hard to adjust in the shower and the bathtub didn’t function well at all. One more bathroom would have been nice for that amount of people. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.

This is our second year at this property and it fits my family perfectly!! Hope to be back next year

The house is spread out nicely to where people can still enjoy all the amenities it has to offer, and not have to worry about disturbing anyone that may want to sleep in or take a nap.It has a little store and a few restaurants within walking distance. There is a shuttle bus within walking distance that takes you up to the mountain during snow season. Cell service is smore elusive than bigfoot in the area, but wifi works great! Amazing property and amazing hosts! 10/10 you want to rent this place.

Rented this for a weekend for a low key bachelor party- the spacious rooms, gameroom, hot tub and sauna- in the mountains- were perfect!
