The location, cleanliness, decor, and facilities are spectacular. For the price they charge, at least one treatment should be included. Spa services are extensive but quite expensive . The atmosphere is tranquil. Feels like you're the only guest. Staff are friendly.

I understand that this is a wellness retreat, and only healthy food is served. But healthy doesn't need to be boring or bland. I am so disappointed that we were offered the same breakfast for 3 days. There are so many options for gluten-free, dairy free, sugar-free, and yet there is no variety on the menu. We stayed for dinner on one night. Again, it was a very limited menu that was not exceptional in any way. And at R900+ for 2 people, we left very disappointed. This was the only aspect that really let down what could be a phenomenal experience.

The food is good, but you need to understand that the food is prepared for wellness and healthy eating which is maybe not to everyone's liking. You need to look at the menus before booking. The place is big and not busy in winter time so expect this upon arrival. It can seem very empty and not welcoming upon arrival. The spa treatments in itself are excellent and by very experienced personnel. Pool area and sauna was good although a little dated.

There is a difference from the image presented to the actual experience. The staff did what they could to manage this after check in and engaged well with the requests and changes to another room to give us a better impression. The villa is in itself a very nice place, but could be shared with other guests. This was not the case with us as there were no other check-ins for the week we stayed there. This was again not very clear in the description of the location. If not busy the place is VERY empty and with a limited welcoming feeling. The drive to the property is an experience by itself and dont go there in a small car as the road is very poor for the last 3 KM, especially after rain (Dirt Road) For us it seemed to have a big gap from price to experience, we would suggest to go there for the day spa and find accomodation in another place, there are many in the area which we have visited that present better value for money. They unfortunately had big problems with the power generators due to loadshedding while we were staying there, got better on the last days of our stay though.
