Reviewer Comments: Very smooth check in process, picking up the keys at the office was quick and easy and we preferred this personal interaction to locating a lockbox/inputting codes. The house was exactly as the photos showed. We were 2 guests in a spacious property, many houses of this size try to cram in as many beds as possible which detracts from the experience (and the usable space!) if you're only a small party, this property is NOT one of those. Master bed is really big, nice ensuite. Lots of comfortable areas to sit and relax. This house has a nice library room where I was able to work whilst my partner was cooking or watching TV in the other area. Heated garage was a great for loading and unloading/storing ski gear without getting cold. Property was well situated for the ski areas we visited, and for Ketchum. It's on the road but there is no noise at all. This property doesn't allow pets which we liked - pet hair is difficult to totally remove unless you clean every day and I have pet hair allergies, no problems at this place. The wifi was excellent, kitchen was well-equipped (an electric kettle was the only thing we missed), comfy beds and everything was clean and in a good state of repair. It was a very relaxing and cozy place to hang out after a day on the ski trails.

Reviewer Comments: We couldn't have asked for a better home or experience. 104 Saddle Road was the perfect place for the 4 of us (two couples) - Great privacy, great common areas and the location was absolutely perfect. Walk to downtown Ketchum, hike outside the front door at White Cloud, run over the Sun Valley Lodge ... and we were afraid that Saddle was a busy road. It's not an issue. While the home isn't "luxurious" in the finishes, it is quality and was the perfect home for us!

We greatly enjoyed the backyard and patio.

The only item that I would recommend is that the couch and chairs are in need of replacing. They are old and extremely uncomfortable, otherwise it is always wonderful ~ we love it!!

The home is very comfortable inside and the outside living space wonderful!!! We used this as a home base for road cycling and mountain biking. It was nice just leaving from the house and no need to drive to trail heads.

The location is near perfect, 1/2 mi from Ketchum and across the street from the Sun Valley Resort.. the home is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the amenities esp. the kitchen utensils and spices for cooking, we missed nothing from home! We cooked almost every night and it was a pleasure with the gas stove. We had rented bikes for the entire week, the garage was great for the car and the bikes.. I have only “constructive” piece of feedback — there is a carpet in the kitchen floor that had me freaked about to how to avoid soiling it when cooking and transferring materials from one counter to the other; this is first time I have seen a carpet in the kitchen, so I was extra careful 😇

There is a warm feeling to the place.... like you are staying at a family friend's home... it doesn't feel like a "rental." The folks at Alpine Lodgings are exceptional. I now know who to call the next time I come to town.
