Stayed at the property and fell in love. Property looks as beautiful as it does in the pictures.

We had a great stay, my kids really enjoyed the pool and our view was amazing.

Overall the house was OK. The property mgt was terrible though. I have multiple text threads with the mgt company (Roelens Vacations) as documented proof. On the first day I reported that the pool heater and pool light were not working and after 7 nights and checking out, they still were not fixed. Pool company came on day 4 and said the filter was "very dirty" and he wasn't authorized to replace it, of fix the light or the heater. The pool filter was very dirty because half of the roof rain run off flows directly into the pool turning it yellow/brown (videos and images sent to the property mgr). 2 cockroaches were discovered in the kitchen (one was in a bag of food) and we were told not to worry as they are normal in Florida and that pest control would be out. They also never showed up during our 7 days. After our vacation, we contacted pest control ourselves and found out that the mgt company wasn't honest regarding their interactions with us. I suspect the same about the pool light and heater based upon neither being fixed. We contacted the property mgr daily as well as the main office about our concerns. The prop mgr showed up on our last day and was shocked at how the pool looked due to the filter and rain run off. We kept hearing "I am working on it" but nothing was resolved. The office manager was supposed to call us once we left. That was 5 days ago and still nothing even tho I have texted daily to the property mgr. Very disappointed in our stay.

the home was nice, had several things that didnt work bathroom sinks, several broken chairs on the deck to name a few. The kitchen was recently redone was nice. The management team was NON RESPONSIVE. The vacation was awesome - before vaca the management team responded to text, emails -after they got our payment and we needed them - NO response.

House was very nice. Location was great. Loved having kayaks, bikes and fishing poles.

Great house - pool, deck, on the canal. House was clean and comfortable. Two kayaks and four bikes available. Plan to drive/uber for your day trips.

Overall the home was fine. I rated it 3 out of 5 stars because it’s in need of some general updating and repair. Everything worked , but it was a little below what I would want for this level of expense. For example- a couple cabinet doors in kitchen we’re in poor condition. Some of the furniture showed obvious wear . The main slider to the patio( where you’ll spend most of your time) was dirty and didn’t operate smoothly. The lanai was in disrepair and the pool needs work. Again, nothing disastrous, but certainly sub par.

We enjoyed our stay very much. So pleasant sitting outside by the pool and on the deck by the water.

The house was beautiful and well described. The views were amazing. There was 7 of us and we were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were set to the perfect temperatures and very clean. The Dock was an amazing touch. The home is close to all amenities and we walked to most places we went. I wouldn’t change a thing and we will be back soon!

We loved staying at this house! Great pool, hot tub, deck. Love the time sitting out watching the fish hop. Good stores, food nearby. Would recommend!

This was a nice getaway for my family. The pool was a huge hit with our kids! The deck area was used every morning for coffee and fishing. All the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyable!

House was exactly as you see in the photos. Amazing view and pool area. Really appreciate that they would turn up the pool heater when cooler weather was coming. Overall great experience and would stay here again.

Our entire family had a wonderful time. There were bikes and kayaks as well as beautiful sunrises and sunsets to see from the deck. We had two small issues and they were handled immediately and so professionally. We highly recommend this property..

This was our very first VBRO experience. We were not sure what to expect. We were very pleased with our experience. We enjoyed playing pool, bbqing, lounging on the dock and swimming. There were kayaks, fishing poles, beach toys/chairs available that we didn't use. We really enjoyed the privacy that the property offered. The sunsets were exactly as pictured. Absolutely breath taking! The house was large and we could see how our family would enjoy it also-we plan to bring them when we come back. The management company was responsive as they were addressing a past guest's request for repairs. We imtend to tell our friends as we can not wait to come back

Everything was perfect. There was something for everyone in the family from my 80 year old parents to our adult children.

My family absolutely loved this place. We have stayed in multiple homes around Cape Coral and fort Meyers area but this was by far our favorite. The only thing I highly recommend is to get a mattress topper for the master bedroom. The wife and I made the kids sleep in it while we took the smaller room because the bed was brutal. We will stay here again for sure. Thank you

Plenty of room....the things that didn't work like fan, ice maker,I am sure will be fixed soon. They need steak knives along with other knives too. The tiki bar is a nice place to unwind as well.

Everything was a good as we could possibly expect! They came to review the property with us the morning after we arrived and were genuinely interested in how everything was for us.

We were extremely happy with this home. It was spacious enough for our group. The setting on the water, was amazing, and we enjoyed sunsets and sunrises. The pool was used more than we thought we would. I was disappointed that the indoor stove/oven had a crack in one of the larger burners, so I did avoid cooking on it, however the gas grill helped out with most of our cooking. The area was quiet, and the neighbors that we did meet were very nice and quite helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants and directions. The immediate area also provided lots of things to do without having to drive so far. For example the nature park and trails, the marina and water taxi right down the road, and so close to markets and so many other amenities. I am hopeful we can return to this home next year, and if all goes well, even extending our stay. Unfortunately two of the 4 bikes that were at the house were not in working condition, so I would suggest that if they are advertised to be available with the house, they get fixed so people can use them. Also, beach chairs were brought over by the property manager (very timely), but there were only two of them and one was broke. Since we are beach people too and maybe other renters are too, having beach chairs when visiting the beaches is important. One last thing, the night before we left, two very large palmetto bugs were found in the bedroom closest to the garage, but in Florida’s it’s to be expected. We would love to have feedback too as we are extremely interested to return next year. Thank you for sharing this home.

The property was great. There are some small issues like a hole in the pool, stove top was cracked and a portion of the sofa did not recline completely. These are not show stoppers, but should be looked at. I am still giving it a 5 star though.

Master bedroom was large with amazing views. Lighting was labeled well. Kitchen/living room was adequate to entertain 8 people for Thanksgiving.

Two bathrooms for four bedrooms not the greatest situation

Besides the red tide and tropical storm that was happing while we were visiting this place is very specious for the whole group. Had all of the amenities necessary for a great vacation. Beautiful views of the water! Pool was awesome, beds comfy, rooms specious... look forward to booking another time again while red tide is not in effect.

Good villa for 2 families with fantastic amenities. Great location and everything we needed was here. Keon brought along anything we needed. We packed so much into our two weeks holiday. Pool great fun and sunset beautiful from villa. Would definitely recommend.

The home is well appointed and has plenty of space. We enjoyed the pool and were able to do lots of cooking as well. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock and even caught a couple! Lovely home that I’d love to return to.

Everything was amazing. 4 bedrooms all with King beds. The pool was screened in so it kept out the bugs. There is an outdoor grill which was fun to use while the family swam. In the garage there were 3 fishing poles and various pool toys for my kids to use. Fishing was great and just a few steps from the outside. This home was close to everything you needed, shops, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, major banks, etc.. The house is on a quite street and we had no issues at all. I would go back here next year. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Thinderbird. Great location and great amenities. The location is perfect with easy access to many different ventures. Or just hang by the pool and relax! We would book through Roelens again!

The location of the villa is perfect and the view over the lake is amazing we really enjoyed our stay. There are a couple of things the villa is stated as luxury I would say very good. The towels had bleach marks on and so did some of the throws on the beds, the blinds in the dining area were badly marked and so were the cushions outside on the chairs.The paintwork could do with touching up in some places and I wish we could have found instructions for the cooker we could not get that thing to stay on. I know americans do tend to drink more coffee than us brits but we had to go and buy a kettle to make tea. The dock area is great we spent alot of time down there, I think there should be some sort of roped area and maybe more lights around by the speedboat, as on our 1st night we arrived late and one of our group decided to go for a walk down to the dock and all we heard was a scream and a splash he had fallen in the lake We still laugh about it now. This place is ideal for all shops and Fort Myers.

Nice and tidy. This property was exactly as shown in the advertising. Location was really great in the Eight lake area where the canal becomes lake which gives some more privacy room when down at the dock. The property has 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms. We where 2 families of totally 8 persons and we all felt that we had enough room and privacy. There where enough space around the big table on the porch for all of us which was very convenient for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The neighborhood was quiet and the street is on a dead-end area so not much traffic which may be disturbing in other areas of Cape Coral. Property manager was very supportive and we felt confortable during our whole stay. Thank you. I would gladly recommend this property to others.
