we had an amazing time at Surf Watcher! it was so wonderful to wake up with some coffee and watch the surfers and usually had the beach all to our selves! The condo was clean, easy to get in and out of and in a great location. Thanks for everything, we'll be back!

If you're looking for a modern, luxury apartment, the "Pink House" may not be for you. But if your focus is on finding a waterfront place that offers a beautiful view of the sunset, the sound of crashing waves, a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and a nearly private beach, Pools Beach should be your choice.
We spent one week in March in the lower unit--Surf Watcher. Although the apartment has a living room with TV, dining area, well-equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator and ice maker, and a separate bedroom, we spent most of our time on the spacious balcony. The apartment is clean, offers two bathrooms, and has multiple ceiling fans; we never even needed to use the air conditioner in the bedroom because of the cooling ocean breezes.
Although there were renters in the upper-level unit, noise was never an issue; we never even heard footsteps overhead.
There are 3 or 4 restaurants within walking distance. The grocery store and multiple other restaurants are only 2-3 miles away, and the entrance to the popular Sandy Beach is a one-minute walk down the street.
James, Cynthia, and Laly made the whole rental process easy. They provided us with all the information we needed, including the driving directions from the San Juan Airport. We had no issues during our stay, but had there been any, help was only a phone call away.
We will definitely stay at Pools Beach when we return to Rincon.

Just an unbelievable property. Makes you feel like Pools Beach is yours, alone. Perfect pocket of Rincon with all that you need, and the quick ride into town is easy.
Going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean is something anyone can get used to.
The ONLY issues we'd have to mention is that the mattresses could be upgraded, as we had some trouble staying comfortable through the night. If being a stickler, I'd mention the shower heads could be replaced/ upgraded (I'm tall) but both of these issues are a simple fix.
The set up was cute, and it would be hard to argue that this isn't one of if not the best properties in town. You have your own sunset, essentially your own beach. it's just wonderful.

We loved everything about Casa Rosa. The views from the balcony are breathtaking, the beach access is unbeatable, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Puntas area had great bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. We'd definitely stay here again.

This property has the first floor balcony which we were initially concerned about our views being blocked but it did not disappoint! The nearby palm trees were a beautiful frame to a gorgeous view. Sunset occured around 6:39 pm for us and this is something I would not miss! After reading prior reviews, we decided to skip swimming at this beach and walked to the nearby Sandy Beach because of the sea urchins and rocky terrain. Waves were huge and we enjoyed watching surfers in the early morning and evening hours. Home-made bagel and coffee hut within a short walking distance. Beach House restaurant has great food and excellent fish tacos. We hope to visit again soon!

We loved the house and location, perfect place for 2 adults and a 9 year old boy. Everything was as pictured/described. We will definitely be back to stay again, and hopefully bring some friends to rent the other unit.

Perfect home with such gorgeous beach views & direct access, unique character and in great condition. So many lovely different areas outside to hang out including the perfect balcony where we spend much of our time on when we were at the house. Can't believe this is the only house that has direct access to Pools Beach. Most of the time this beach is fairly empty. The beach has such great sunset views, people come out in droves to see it. Shortboard surfers surf here but we were warned not to longboard surf there. We heard how locals would take their little kids to play in the pools at pools beach but we were also warned by all locals how they don't go in because there are urchins there. Maybe locals take their kids there in the summers because when we were there the current seemed a bit strong over the rocks and coral. Either way we just walked to Sandy Beach 5 minutes down the road so we could surf.
On Friday night Pools Bar did play loudly from 10pm to 2am. Once we closed all the windows and turned the A/C on, the sound was muffled enough to be tolerable enough and we were able to sleep.
Basically one of the best direct beach access home we've found so far. We're definitely coming back!

Loved this Little slice of Heaven. Apartment is very clean with everything you need for vacation..full kitchen, two baths and comfortable beds. I could sit on the balcony ALL DAY LONG and enjoy the views and tranquility!!! Easy access to bars and food and the beach is just step away. It was great having onsite private parking. Hope to return many times.

Rented one of the two apartments in this classic building during my first stay in Rincon last January. The location is ideal -- walking distance to bars and restaurants but far enough away to get a quiet night's sleep. Access to Pools Beach from your doorstep, easy parking, and laid-back accommodations. Love this place, hope to return soon!

I've stayed in the upstairs apartment twice for extended periods and it is the nicest place I've stayed in Rincon. Everything you need is provided; full kitchen, two baths, etc. The view from the balcony overlooking Pools Beach is breathtaking, with beautiful sunsets. Very convenient to some great bars and restaurants on Sandy Beach just down the street, plus Pool Bar and Sushi restaurant across the street. Manager very accommodating. Private parking and gated patio, and private steps down to the beach.

The apt is clean and pictures are accurate. It's within close walking distance of bars/restaurants and there is gated parking. One thing to note- Pools Bar is across the street and there was only 1 night where they held a live outdoor concert, so it was noisy that 1 night, but otherwise quiet and peaceful. Pools beach is right out in front, you can take a 5 min walk to Sandy beach on the back roads. The area felt very safe. Apparently the power goes out regularly - but the apt has a generator so you barely noticed. Property managers are very responsive and made sure i was able to check in/check out promptly, also quickly received security deposit back.
