Séjour de 3 nuits à Honfleur pour le nouvel an. Gîte charmant et bien entretenu, idéal pour deux couples, bien situé et au calme. Accueil de notre hôte très professionnel et très à l'écoute. In der 2. Oktoberwoche 2021 haben wir in dem sehr schönen Haus von Veronique einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war extrem gut und zuverlässig und das Haus hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Die Lage ist zentral und recht ruhig, fast alles ist fussläufig zu erreichen, und wir konnten auch unsere Fahrräder sicher unterbringen. Das Parken mit einem größeren Auto ist nicht immer einfach, aber man findet im Umkreis letztendlich immer einen Parkplatz. Wir hatten fast immer Sonnenschein, daher war der Urlaub einzigartig. Zudem haben wir in der Zeit noch einen Tag in Paris mit vorreserviertem Parkhaus problemlos genießen können. Diese Ferienadresse empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour en famille. La maison est charmante, bien décorée et très bien située pour visiter la ville d'Honfleur. Je recommande fortement . Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir lorsque nous seront dans les parages. Merci pour tout !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en parti grâce à la maison. Que dire à part qu'elle est super en tout point de vu. Il y a tous ce dont on a besoin, même une machine à laver.Il est très appréciable aussi d'avoir deux douches. La maison est propre et idéalement placée dans une rue calme. La propriétaire est très sympathique. Nous recommandons vraiment maison.

Bonne description et photos conformes à la réalité. Propriétaire attentionnée. Un électroménager complet et qui facilite la cuisine ; c'est appréciable par ces temps de Covid. Tout se fait à pied dans Honfleur.

Exactement ce que nous voulions : une jolie petite maison à 10min du vieux bassin. Logement très bien équipé, aucune surprise par rapport à l'annonce. Tres bon accueil par Veronique, qui nous a donné de bons conseils d'activités, de commerces et de restaurants.

Fijne accommodatie op goed locatie nabij centrum. Heel geschikt voor stellen ivm twee badkamers. Heel fijn dat er een terrasje is om buiten te zitten/eten.

Beautiful, clean and very convenient house a short stroll into Honfleur Very quiet, nicely apportioned rooms with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Kitchen well resourced and handy small patio to eat out. Merveilleux!

Petite maison charmante, restaurée récemment avec de très bons matériaux et décorées avec goût. Pratique et très bien située. La propriétaire est une dame sympathique qui ne se contente pas de donner des clés mais aussi de renseigner sur les visites et restaurants à faire durant le séjour. Très disponible si besoin pendant le séjour. Excellente expérience à refaire sans hésiter.

Super gite ,bien situé . Idéal pour 2 couples avec les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Seul bémol le parking très difficile dans la rue très étroite. Même si ce problème est général à Honfleur.

We enjoyed staying in Veronique’s house very much. It was comfortable and clean with good kitchen facilities- important to us as we enjoy cooking. Honfleur is charming and just a five minute easy walk from the house. Parking was straightforward too; we were never more than a few minutes from the door.

We had a wonderful stay in Honfleur and much was due to our great rental house. Traveling as a party of 4 ( two couples) this clean and perfectly located house made our 10 day stay easy. The house is on a quiet street above town . It’s on a hill but an easy 2 minute walk to the heart of Honfleur. We had separate floors for each couple with large bedrooms and each our own full bathroom. The staircase is spiral and steep so this might not be a good fit for someone with physical limitations. Veronique was a great communicator from my first inquiry until the last moments of our stay. I would return here in a heart beat and hope to do so soon.

We spent a lovely week in Honfleur. Veronique is absolutely lovely - the house is great, very clean, perfect little patio for chilling in the evening. A lovely 7 minute walk to harbour and touristy bits and 3 or 4 minute walk to some cool galleries, a superb butchers, the lovely Pascale's bakery and the top rated local restaurant on tripadvisor. Top house, top spot, top town.

We really loved our stay in this lovely Honfleur home! My husband and I were alone, but there is plenty of room for at least a couple more people (we didn't even use the entire top floor). Do note the spiral staircase, which might be difficult for the elderly or small children, but we had no trouble. I appreciated how spotlessly clean everything was, too. Very high standard in all respects. Bedrooms tastefully furnished and of high standard. Bathrooms had very good quality fittings. Living area very pleasant and outside terrace was a joy especially as it was so hot. An excellent place to stay.

We were two couples staying in this lovely townhouse, which is so convenient for exploring the wonderful town of Honfleur. The harbour and many restaurants are a short downhill walk away. The house was very well equipped, with everything needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were large and airy and together with the modern en-suites, spotlessly clean. The showers in both en-suites were amazing, plenty of hot water too! The spiral staircase up to the first and second floors is quite steep, but once you get used to taking it steady, it's fine. The living room/dining area is very comfortable, the kitchen is bijou, but very adequate for any evenings you want to eat in and there is a very handy downstairs toilet too. The owner, Veronique, is a lovely lady, so helpful and is at the end of the phone should you need anything at all. She has good English and is very willing to recommend local restaurants and provide directions.

The house is exceptional. It is spacious and very well equipped. Although we hardly used the kitchen in our short stay, everything needed was there. 2 bathrooms are a definite advantage if there are 4 or you. The outside area (enclosed) is small but a good place to stay and you can choose shade or sun (we were there in a very hot spell). It is well located only around 5 minutes walk to the vieux bassin and there are restaurants even nearer. Veronique made the process very easy, responding to emails quickly (we communicated in French but her English is fine) and was very flexible with arrival/departure times. Would unhesitatingly recommend.

This time was a return visit and was just as good as the first time. Veronique and her husband Eric were as friendly and helpful as possible. The house is lovely and very equipped and maintained. There is always soo much to do and see in Honfleur and still some restaurants to still to try. The surrounding area is also packed with so many and varied things to do and visit we shall definitely come back again and again. Linda & David.

In late September we had no problem to find a free parking at the street; 400 feet away max. There is an added luxury: restroom on the level of the living room. If you don't speak French the best way to communicate with Veronique is in writing. Not a big deal now days. She is a very nice Lady though. Keep in mind that anything not listed directly as included could be not present. Like coffee or coffee filters. Just be prepared. After all this is formally fair and the house is great.

(And it was delightful to be a bit away from the zone!) The house has good beds, great bathrooms/showers, a small fenced patio on the street in front of the kitchen, and solid wi-fi. Veronique is easygoing and helpful. Bedrooms are quiet and dark for good sleep. Summary: we would return for sure. It wasn't clear to me that there is a third toilet (first floor) which is helpful. The kitchen is ready for light cooking. There is a washer. We had delightful meals at Chez DD and Homme de Bois (great fish) and there is a huge LeClerk in Toque nearby. We don't have cell service in Europe so organizing our arrival with Veronique was via email and ticklish, but she's got a phone. As is true in many rentals, bringing your own bathroom paper helps. Yes, the spiral stairway is there, but not a problem for the able. Parking is on the street and might be a block away, but the street is safe (and again, quiet at night). So, again, our highest recommendation is that we would return without hesitation.

Location was perfect, just a short (downhill) walk to Honfleur's boat basin and the downtown hub. Supermarket, post office, laundry, are all nearby. The walk back (uphill) was invigorating and we always passed friendly residents and visitors. The apartment was spotless, facilities complete, WiFi worked great, showers were hot and strong. The bedrooms are up a smallish staircase, so perhaps this isn't right for really old visitors (over 80?), but otherwise, we couldn't have been happier. The view from the third floor bedroom was pleasant and expansive. In short, we loved it.
