Wonderful location. Beautiful property. Falls a bit short of the expectations at this price point. Seamless booking and check-in process. Information guides were helpful. Local property manager responded quickly to the issues brought to her attention.

The home was beautiful with sprawling spaces to relax and enjoy the beach, the pool, and the house. This side of the island was so peaceful and quiet. We went to west bay a couple days while on our trip, but always felt like we belonged back at Rum Point where we could enjoy the home and the local restaurants that were within walking distance to the home! Thanks for such a hospitable home!

The property was amazing! I loved being on our own beach with few waves so our kids could play safely. The house was so comfortable and plenty of room for us to spread out. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

The home was great and the view was beautiful. PROS: We have stayed at many VRBO houses over the years and when I say this house has everything supplied, I'm not kidding. The house was extremely clean and the pictures do not lie. CONS: My only complaint about the house was there is no stair handrail to the second floor (I have knee issues) and the steps are not the same height, so it made going up and down the stairs awkward. One issue that came up during our visit: was the local cable, FLOW, did not work. The property manager, Judy, and the technician could not fix the issue. In a perfect world, these are some of the change I would love to see at this property: Clear and written instructions on how to operate the washer and dryer as well as the printer in the den. Thankfully, my kids are technically savvy! TV's in all the bedrooms would be nice. There is one TV in the living room and one TV in the den (both downstairs). Change queen bed downstairs to a king bed. Universal remote for living room TV (currently four different remotes needed). You might let guests know when you entire the water from the beach, you will more than likely be stung by small hidden jellyfish. We didn't realize that would happen or we would have entered the water from the dock next door. We only found this out during our Bioluminescent tour from The Cayman Kayaks guides. OVERALL: EXCELLENT VACATION HOUSE!!!

I've stayed in three houses and a condo with VRBO on the beach and all of them have been fantastic experiences. The houses and condo exceeded my expectations. They have all either looked a lot better than online (which i was pretty excited about the way they looked) or even better. I will never travel any other way! Also there is always very good contacts for any type of problem you may run into. The people are always quick and helpful!

After searching for the perfect property for our family of six, we reserved a week at Kai Zan. We had been looking at the pictures on line since January & we could not wait to arrive. As soon as we opened the front door, we knew we had chosen the perfect vacation home - the pictures truly do not capture its beauty. The front door opens up to the living room with a 40 feet wall of windows. On the other side is a private beach complete with palm trees, a hammock, & enough lounge chairs for everyone in our family. The inside of the home was bright, beautifully decorated, and extraordinarily clean. The kitchen is stocked with pots, utensils, & everything a cook would need, all housed in lots of cabinets & very cool sliding pantries. The living room couch was super comfortable & easily fit all 6 of us. There was a shelf near the slider next to the pool (which was warm, spotlessly clean) that contained lots of fluffy beach towels . The basket of blankets in the corner was a very nice touch, too! The beds/bedding in all of the bedrooms were clean & comfortable as if they were brand new. The master bedroom closet was huge with lots of shelves, racks, & a safe to store valuables. The bathrooms were large & very well designed, with plenty of storage for all of our girls' hair supplies. While the inside of the house was amazing, the star of the show is the outside area. We had asked for 2 kayaks & 2 paddle boards. They were waiting for us on the beach when we arrived. Joe from Silver Thatch came to unlock them so we could start exploring immediately. Judy arrived to make sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. We had picked up the complimentary snorkel gear from Silver Thatch on the way to Kai Zen and put them to good use before we even unpacked. So much fun to see dinner plate size starfish! We rented a car and spent the week snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking Bioluminescent Bay, and feeding stingrays. At the end of every busy day, we were all happy to relax & watch the sun set at Kai Zen. The only suggestion I'd like to make is to upgrade the outdoor grill. It's small for a property this size & didn't always work properly. I highly recommend a half day charter with Silver Thatch - our favorite part of the week!
