Very unusual property, set in a large garden. Well equiped, within walking distance of the village and 10 minutes from the coast.

The place was nice with lots of space to the family. Close to the sea, and a beautiful little city.

We enjoyed a weeks family holiday at Grand Colombier. The accommodation worked well for us. We were impressed at the amount of crockery and glasses, meaning that even when the dishwasher was running we had enough for another meal. The location was excellent, close to the centre of the town, easy walking to the local shops. There are beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of places to visit and walks to keep a large family occupied. The host left lots of information and in a phone call made more suggestions. We felt privileged to stay in such a lovely house.

We had a really wonderful stay at the beautiful and unique Dovecote.
The house itself was clean and had generous room sizes and the main room was a really good sociable space to be in with a big group and we loved how the kitchen was part of the room so whoever was cooking was part of the mix.
The garden was brilliant and a perfect place to relax in and eat food in sunshine! The kids loved playing around all the trees and bushes.
We loved being able to pop to a beach just 8-10 minutes away and we sampled all the local boulangeries!
Antoine and Caroline were brilliant communicators who told us everything we needed to know.
All in all a fantastic family holiday and we would definitely recommend it and go back again.

A unique property in a good location. An easy walk to shops and restaurants, and beaches and other attractions are just a short drive away.

An interesting and unusual building set in a big garden, it was a good base for our party of 8 adults. We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is very well equipped for large numbers (though bring a kettle if you’re British!). Washing machine was useful. Enough bathrooms for 8 (a bath, a shower and 3 loos). Bring towels. Offranville town centre is in easy walking distance with a Carrefour (inc petrol station) and boulangeries. Lots of places to visit around and about - it’s a lovely area.

Nice property just a short drive from Dieppe in a very pleasant town, within walking distance to supermarkets and bakeries.
Had most things we needed -but a kettle would have been a bonus,as would a TV that worked for anything other than DVD's.

The building was a huge 1619 dovecote beautifully converted into a spacious home for 10/12. The grounds were ideal for games and sun bathing.

The property is in an excellent location. Offranville is well served with an good supermarket and boulangeries. Delightful beaches and pretty villages are within easy reach.
An extra shower room would be an asset for ten guests.

Unique and great fun
We were a group of four ladies and had a great week. Exploring the nearby village and going further afield to Honfleur and Giverny. Dieppe is only 18 minutes away by car and we spend a great day there relaxing, sight seeing and eating. As we came over on the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry, it was all so convenient. A fun week, we would definitely recommend this unique and wonderful Dove House.

A most interesting and unique property. Good accommodation on 4 floors, spacious and beautifully presented. The living area good although kitchen area a bit small for the amount of people staying. The garden delightful.

Très beau bâtiment, séjour original mais très confortable. Stationnement pour plusieurs véhicules juste devant.
Petite ville très sympathique avec tous les commerces essentiels.

Agréable dans l’ensemble
Les explications pour trouver ce lieux atypique sont assez simples.
Aussi charmant qu’original , les seuls bémols sont ( la dépendance , 60€ de facturation nettoyage pour une prestation pas forcément irréprochable et la facturation de l’électricité)
Mais dans l’ensemble , nous avons passés un très bon moment et les prestations proposées sont plus que convenables.
Nous recommandons ce lieux .

-Nous avons passées un bon WE en famille. Le Colombier a été un endroit original pour nous retrouver .
-Les chambres sont spacieuse et la literie est confortable
-Nous avons suivi les bons conseil du livret d’accueil qui est bien fait .Le propriétaire est disponible , vigilant et de bon conseil pour notre séjours

What an amazing man. We greatly appreciated the time he spent with us relaying the dovecote history as well as interesting points within the Normandy region.
The dovecote was truly the most magical place EVER! The care taken to rebuild it was obvious. Some of the furnishings were simply spectacular. FOUR Floors, with the master on the top! The Christmas decorations were a special treat, giving it a very homey feel.
The area is rich in history and beauty (e.g. the medieval Rouen and the Étretat Cliffs).

woning heel mooi maar de kuis is niet goed er lagen in de badkamer en slaap kamer heel veel dooie beestje door al het houd dat vonden we niet al te proper houtwormen volgens ons
als we slapen gingen moesten we nog alles kuisen elke dag bedoel beddegoed vol beestje en s'morgen juist het zelfde

Een bijzonder sfeervolle vakantiewoning!
We hebben bijzonder genoten van ons verblijf in Le Colombier. De huis- en eetkamer zijn bijzonder sfeervol en comfortabel. De slaapkamers zijn ruim. Het pand was schoon en fris en we werden bij bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen. Een paar kleine kanttekeningen:
- In de balken zit houtworm/de houtwormkever; volledig onschuldig voor mensen (wel vervelend voor de eigenaar!). Geeft wel wat rommel op de vloer, e.d.
- De keukenuitrusting is ruim, maar er ontbreken ook wel een aantal dingen: aardschilmesjes, limonadeglazen, snijplanken.
Maar per saldo waren we hartstikke tevreden.

The property owner Antoine was superbly helpful from start to finish. The property is unique and beautiful... cool inside and peaceful outside. We are two families with teenagers and we all enjoyed the stay. Offranville is a few minutes walk away and we liked having a supermarket and restaurants nearby. The gite is well equipped although we missed glass tumblers for our gin! Note that the gite is in french guidebooks and we had several people just come into the grounds and wander around which I didn’t like. However the place is magical and we would return. There is a Michelin restaurant locally Le Colombier too which was wonderful too!! Many thanks !

Leuke vakantie ondanks het gure weer.
"De Colombier" is zeker aan te raden, heeft een gezellig interieur en een kleine goed uitgeruste keuken. Prima pannen: komen we niet vaak tegen. Ruime kamers met goede bedden.
Sommige kamers en badkamers wat sporen van vochtigheid, maar dat verbinden wij met de storm en wind tijdens ons verblijf.
Rustige centrale ligging dicht bij bakker en winkelcentrum.
We hebben genoten van fietsen, wandelen en paardrijden vlakbij.

Beautiful property,fantastically renovated. Suitable for our family of 12, where great meals were had round the big table.Ideally located for exploring Dieppe & the surrounding countryside. We would love to return especially if the sun shone so we could enjoy the garden !

Séjour dans un lieu très atypique
Un séjour, avec mes enfants et petits enfants, dans un lieu ou une superbe restauration à permis à cette très ancienne bâtisse de revivre . Bravo. Je dois dire que je connais cette région Dieppoise , mais Offranville est un village plein de charme.
Pourquoi pas un autre séjour mais avec du soleil pour mieux profiter de l'extérieur

Silvester in historischem Taubenturm
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht. Der Turm ist sehr gemütlich und urig. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage von Offranville ist ideal, um sich die Küste um Dieppe sowie Rouen anzuschauen.

Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme Zeit in Offranville und wurden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Vermieter haben sich sehr bemüht um eine wundervolle Zeit und die Umgebung bietet alle Möglichkeiten für Familien und Gruppen sich wohl zufühlen.

Truly Gorgeous.
We loved staying here. The building is fabulous - so much so we had tourists visiting it twice. The neibourhood is very pretty and you are literally 3 minutes away from butchers, bakeries and supermarkets. There are now two large picnic benches outside that can easily seat 16. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
