We stayed at the villa in the last two weeks of May 2024. The weather was unusually hot but the design of the villa meant we could always find some shade if we wanted to. The outside furniture, sunbeds, tables and chairs were very comfortable and of a high standard. The kitchen had every tool you would wish for, it even has a grapefruit cutter. We had a very large american SUV but it fitted into the garage comfortably. The swimming pool was clean and set at a very comfortable temperature. The lakeside view was uninterrupted by the cage as can be seen by the pictures and the open space meant we got the benefit of any breezes. The location was very good for access to shops and restaurants. We are in our 70s and we have stayed in many villas around the world, this place is one of the best and we will be coming back again provided this review doesn’t cause the rental price to go up.

The Blue Pelican was truly a warm and welcoming home away from home. The pool, jacuzzi, and deck area provided hours of relaxation and the sunset view every evening was absolutely magical. While the home is situated in a very quiet neighborhood, it is very close to many restaurants and downtown area. Ingrid was nothing but a pleasure to work with and made the whole process very easy.

We spent 5 nights relaxing in this lovely villa within a quiet neighborhood and only 30 minutes from the Ft. Myers airport. The home was very well maintained and furnished. The lanai was perfect to cool down on the warm days. We would love to return there in the future.

This was the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We loved the lanai with a pool and jacuzzi overlooking the lake. Very quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and beaches. House was clean, comfortable and well stocked with anything we needed. Ingrid is a fantastic host and checked in to make sure everything was as expected. Only problem was that our stay was too short!

Our stay was absolutely incredible. I love this property the view is outstanding, super quiet neighborhood, close to any place that you want to go see. This is an ideal location and Ingrid is a fabulous host, she goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is the best. The only rental property that I want to stay at when I'm in Cape Coral, relaxing and unwinding is a sure thing. I look forward to my next stay.

Ingrid and Jerry's Cape Coral home is absolutely beautiful. Tastefully decorated and all of the comforts of home and then some!! Beautiful lanai, pool and jacuzzi! There are also bicycles to use which is an added bonus. Ingrid and Jerry are wonderful hosts and easy to communicate with. My son and I had a wonderful vacation here!

Throughly enjoyed everything about the Blue Pelican! Right on the lake and views from the pool and hot tub are incredible. Wife enjoyed laying out on the dock everyday. We grilled and ate at the table by the pool frequently. Everything was very clean and home is well furnished. And Ingrid was a terrific host. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

This was the perfect vacation for the month because of this fantastic home and its hosts. If you rent this home, go there first before the grocery store. It is so well stocked. Many spices. Plenty of kitchen utensils and equipment. It is the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. The location is fantastic. Such a quiet area, light traffic. We have stayed in other homes near Del Prado, never again. This home is close to the grocery store, and within 10 minutes from some great restaurants. And the main road has a bike path and the neighborhood is so quiet. The lanai is to die for. The cage on the lanai is without posts, so it is a clear site to the peaceful small lake it sits on. Which also makes the sunsets every night spectacular. The pool and jacuzzi are great! The house is tastefully decorated with higher end furniture. The beds are comfortable. It is so private with the beautiful landscape. Comfortable temperatures in home, pool and jacquzzi. Ingrid is the best host. She is so accessible and takes care of things right away. She just wants to make sure you have a relaxing, nice vacation.

Beautiful home, well appointed, nice screened lanai with heated pool & hot tub. Great location overlooking a lake, quiet neighborhood. Our host responded immediately whenever we had a question or concern. I highly recommend the Blue Pelican.

Such a great stay that we did not want to leave. Ingrid was a great host and made us feel like part of the family. She is extremely organized and very attentive to both this beautiful home and its guest. The house is incredible and very clean. The lanai area was very relaxing and the perfect place to end the day watching the sunset over the water. We hope to get a chance to return one day.

The Blue Pelican was truly amazing! The home was well stocked with everything we could have asked for. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We played ping pong and pool most days and went for our morning run around the neighborhood which was very safe with a nice sidewalk. My wife loves waffles and was very pleasantly surprised when she saw the waffle maker! First time we’ve had a waffle maker with a VRBO rental! Ingrid checked in with us a couple times during our stay to make sure everything was good. Wonderful Vacation!

A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Such a quiet and relaxing few days. Exactly what we were looking for! Wonderful pool area with a hot tub. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Hope to be able to come again!

Ingrid has been a fantastic host who has been so informative and responsive from initial enquiry right through until departure!! The property is spacious, well equipped and immaculately presented with attention to detail by Ingrid and Jerry very noticeable. The rear of the property has probably the best deck area we have ever had in 25 years of visiting Florida overlooking a large peaceful lake full of all sorts of wildlife. Sunsets are perfectly unobstructed due to the minimalist lanai. Thank you Ingrid and Jerry you are offering a special accommodation well situated for discovering South West Florida!

Beautiful home perfect for relaxing and enjoying life!

Just got back from our stay at the Blue Pelican and we absolutely loved it! The home is beautiful, spacious, and even better than advertised. Me and my girls had a blast, we loved the patio and spent most of our time there! We also loved the neighborhood and the privacy the Blue Pelican offers away from the summer crowds. Ingrid was amazing with communication and even accommodated our late check out request. We will definitely be back! 6 Stars!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Pelican. Ingrid was very communicative throughout. We swam, and biked daily and went to a few spots in Cape Coral for dinner and sightseeing while celebrating our anniversary. House is even more beautiful than the pictures show. We are already making plans to return. I cannot say enough good things, only wish our stay had been longer!

We can't say enough good thing's about this property. House was easy to find with GPS. Self Check In was Easy.The house is Beautiful and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cookware/ dishes etc. Plenty of bath/ beach towel's also provided. We LOVED the patio and spacious pool area. The dock was wonderful for late evening watching the sunset's. Owner checked on Us via text to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay here again! FIVE Star's All The Way!

I had a good feeling when we booked the Blue Pelican a couple of months ago. But when we actually got there, all of our expectations were absolutely exceeded! This is a superb place to be with a family and two kids! Great pool, great pool area, nice jacuzzi (which is actually not necessary in the hot summer). Nice living room with a big TV. A garage for the car is very nice to have. We were very, very satisfied and would always come back. Thank you, Ingrid, for being a perfect host!

We spent our honeymoon at blue pelican and had the best week! The home was very clean and stocked nicely. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions/needs. The home and back outdoor area seemed like one of a kind in the area! We looked forward everyday to watching the sunset from the back of the house. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our third, yes third time we’ve been to the Blue Pelican and it never disappoints. We spent the entire time outside in the beautiful pool area. The sunsets were amazing!!! The host Ingrid is awesome and super fast to respond to any questions/requests. We can’t wait to come back again.

This exceeded all my expectations from the pool/hot tub deck, to the lake dock, the spectacular views, and the perfectly appointed and decorated home. The host could not have been sweeter and more accommodating. Such a wonderful Cape Coral gem.

The Blue Pelican is a must stay if you are in the Cape Coral or surrounding areas on vacation the home is absolutely beautiful inside and out with amazing views of the lake and sunsets in the evening....some of our favorite features of the home were the pool which we spent loads of time in, the pool table was a definite searching point for me because we love to play pool, the hot tub yes so soothing after a long day....spacious living room to enjoy family time and kick back and relax...The neighborhood was very nice, peaceful and quiet.....Ingrid was an exceptional amazing top star host very accomadating to any need that may occur...Thank you Ingrid and Jerry for sharing your beautiful home

Ingrid's home is even more amazing than in these pics!!!! Extremely clean, well organized, stocked with all kitchen necessities and in a very private location. We really enjoyed our time and she was always available if necessary and went out of her way being helpful and a wonderful host. It literally was 30 days in Paradise. The weather was perfect, and the house very clean and comfortable. The pool area was fantastic, and my favorite spot. The owners (Ingrid and Jerry) were very hospitable and friendly. They also checked in periodically by text to see if all was well.I highly recommend this as a vacation getaway.

Definitely one of the cleanest and well stocked VRBO I have ever rented. The pool and deck area is so large, plenty of room to spread out and relax. The view and sunset were fabulous, would love to stay again!
