Everything was perfect. The outdoor area is superb. The house was immaculate. We could not have asked for anything more. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful home perfect for relaxing and enjoying life!

Just got back from our stay at the Blue Pelican and we absolutely loved it! The home is beautiful, spacious, and even better than advertised. Me and my girls had a blast, we loved the patio and spent most of our time there! We also loved the neighborhood and the privacy the Blue Pelican offers away from the summer crowds. Ingrid was amazing with communication and even accommodated our late check out request. We will definitely be back! 6 Stars!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Pelican. Ingrid was very communicative throughout. We swam, and biked daily and went to a few spots in Cape Coral for dinner and sightseeing while celebrating our anniversary. House is even more beautiful than the pictures show. We are already making plans to return. I cannot say enough good things, only wish our stay had been longer!

We can't say enough good thing's about this property. House was easy to find with GPS. Self Check In was Easy.The house is Beautiful and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cookware/ dishes etc. Plenty of bath/ beach towel's also provided. We LOVED the patio and spacious pool area. The dock was wonderful for late evening watching the sunset's. Owner checked on Us via text to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay here again! FIVE Star's All The Way!

I had a good feeling when we booked the Blue Pelican a couple of months ago. But when we actually got there, all of our expectations were absolutely exceeded! This is a superb place to be with a family and two kids! Great pool, great pool area, nice jacuzzi (which is actually not necessary in the hot summer). Nice living room with a big TV. A garage for the car is very nice to have. We were very, very satisfied and would always come back. Thank you, Ingrid, for being a perfect host!

We spent our honeymoon at blue pelican and had the best week! The home was very clean and stocked nicely. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions/needs. The home and back outdoor area seemed like one of a kind in the area! We looked forward everyday to watching the sunset from the back of the house. We can’t wait to come back!

This exceeded all my expectations from the pool/hot tub deck, to the lake dock, the spectacular views, and the perfectly appointed and decorated home. The host could not have been sweeter and more accommodating. Such a wonderful Cape Coral gem.

The Blue Pelican is a must stay if you are in the Cape Coral or surrounding areas on vacation the home is absolutely beautiful inside and out with amazing views of the lake and sunsets in the evening....some of our favorite features of the home were the pool which we spent loads of time in, the pool table was a definite searching point for me because we love to play pool, the hot tub yes so soothing after a long day....spacious living room to enjoy family time and kick back and relax...The neighborhood was very nice, peaceful and quiet.....Ingrid was an exceptional amazing top star host very accomadating to any need that may occur...Thank you Ingrid and Jerry for sharing your beautiful home

Ingrid's home is even more amazing than in these pics!!!! Extremely clean, well organized, stocked with all kitchen necessities and in a very private location. We really enjoyed our time and she was always available if necessary and went out of her way being helpful and a wonderful host. It literally was 30 days in Paradise. The weather was perfect, and the house very clean and comfortable. The pool area was fantastic, and my favorite spot. The owners (Ingrid and Jerry) were very hospitable and friendly. They also checked in periodically by text to see if all was well.I highly recommend this as a vacation getaway.

Definitely one of the cleanest and well stocked VRBO I have ever rented. The pool and deck area is so large, plenty of room to spread out and relax. The view and sunset were fabulous, would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful vacation at Blue Pelican! Ingrid is very responsive via txt. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We spent the majority of our time outside by the pool and lake.

Exceptional place with amazing view and convenience. The owner is very helpful and efficient in having our needs met in every way. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Blue Pelican.

This was our second time staying at the Blue Pelican and we had just as much fun this time as we did the first time. The outdoor area is absolutely perfect. We atr all of our meals out there and enjoyed the pool/Jacuzzi and some amazing sunsets. The communication with the host was excellent all the way through our entire stay. We cannot wait to come back again!!

The pelican. A beautiful home beautiful pool beds are comfortable all amenities included. The grill was not working which was difficult because it was over 100° outside so cooking inside made the house warmer. When we arrived the thermostat was set at 78 and it took all day to cool to 74. There is fine print that stipulates the house will be at 78 during the day and a little lower at night but with 100° outside made the house uncomfortable even at 74. If you want a cooler there is a surcharge that is in the fine print in the book when you arrive but not anywhere in the details that I could find online.

Before I talk about the home, let me tell you about Ingrid first. She's a very polite person and always answers fast, if you have any question. She makes sure that your stay is perfect. The home is very nice, as you can see on thr pictures. Would stay here again. Maybe we'll come back within 180 days, if we win the Mega Million drawing tonight. Greetings, Sebastian and Nadine

We were relatively happy with the property. The photos are exactly accurate of the property. There were a few things that we found a little disappointing, but overall had a great stay. Ingrid was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time ever using vrbo, so we didn’t not really know what to expect. I want to reiterate that this is a very very lovely home and a magical pool area!! We would recommend this property to anyone!! There were only two things I wished I had known, or read in a review. So that’s the only reason I am including the two items were we disappointed about. Beautiful house and great hosts—so the following things are just preference things. We really enjoyed being in the pool and wished that the water feature of the pool could have stayed on in the evenings and early mornings. The sound of the waterfall adds so much to the ambiance of the patio and we were a bit disappointed when it would turn off every evening at 6 pm. We ate dinner on the patio watching the gorgeous sunset and wished we could hear the peaceful pool noise. It also did not turn on until 9 am. The other item that disappointed us was the king size bed. It was king sized mattress, but it was very uncomfortable. It was the most uncomfortable night sleep my husband and I both have ever had. It felt like stiff memory foam or maybe a super firm mattress with a topper. I’m sure many people have found it totally fine. Again—these are just things I wish I had been prepared for. I loved this house and would go back (if I knew there was a newer mattress in the main bedroom).

Property was as noted on VRBO. Beautiful view @ back of house! Quiet neighborhood. Owners thought of extras re: beach chairs, beach towels, radio, blender, etc. Would have enjoyed a longer stay if our vacation plans allowed. Definitely consider this property if staying in the area!

The home was immaculate, beautifully appointed, conveniently located for access to many activities, and check in couldn't have been easier. Ingrid was very warm and welcoming but also professional and thorough in our business dealings throughout the entire process. A real class act!! I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!

We had a great time. I grew up and love Florida and this was the perfect place to be. We even enjoyed some rainy afternoons having mimosas and playing cards on the beautiful patio. Easy access to Sanibel/Captiva area too. Thank you Ingrid for being such a great hostess (loved your information book too). See you again soon.

Unlike some beach towns, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but you’re still close enough to beaches to get there within 15 minutes. We fished every day off the private dock and caught fish each time. I searched for a good long while to find the perfect place for us before booking the Blue Pelican and we’ve definitely found it!! Ingrid is so thoughtful (every time I thought, oh dang, I forgot something, there it was in the drawer/closet) and communicative. We hated to leave and can’t wait to go back!

This home was everything we could hope for. The views from the lanai were absolutely stunning. We spent a lot of time out there, watching the resident Pelican fishing. The home itself was nicely stocked and very clean. The beds were a bit too firm for us but we made it work. The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was sooooo relaxing. The landscaping around the lanai made it very private, which was really nice. It was also a plus being on the lake so the houses weren’t directly across from us. Sanibel and Captiva are our favorite places on earth so being so close to the islands was very exciting. We definitely would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.
