We were 3 families- comprised of 5 adults and 5 children. The property worked perfectly- big well equipped kitchen / diner. Excellent instructions from owners. Excellent location to explore the golden circle. We all enjoyed snow mobile trip on Langjökull glacier. Loved the bean to cup coffee maker, hot tub and garage / games room. Thank you

This was perfect for our winter trip for a family of 10. We loved the hot tub and fun in the garage. Laundry machines were a huge plus! We saw amazing Northern Lights and enjoyed the area so much. Thank you for letting us stay.

The house is so well equipped. Location is amazing aswell. We got stuck in a storm and they made sure we was safe and stay another night and kept us updated on travel safely We can't thank you enough.

Everything was so easy and convenient Had an issue on the second to last day with no got water but it was taken care of quickly. Wound definitely stay again.

This was the perfect house for our two families. The location was great for day trips to the Golden Circle, Reykjavik and Vik. We went on an amazing horseback riding tour at Nupshestar which is only 10 minutes away. We even did longer day trips to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The house was modern, spotless, spacious and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The house was actually nicer and larger than the pictures showed! The kitchen and living room were perfect for our large group of nine with a huge kitchen table and lots of seating. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were large and modern as well. The owners were helpful and available for any questions although we had no problems with the house at all. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others visiting Iceland!

We had been in this house with our family and small child. Form there were many possibilities to see interes points. The location is perfect with all which is required. The hot pool is the hit ! In garage we found Dart, tabletennis, tablekicker ...

This was the ideal spot for our 2-family stay in Iceland! The property was located in the heart of the Golden Circle, making it ideal for seeing all the highlights, and wasn’t too long a drive down to southern Iceland or Reykjavik either. The property was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. In short, it helped make our Iceland adventure an AWESOME experience!

This place has everything you need for a group of 10. We explored the south side of Iceland and it was nice to know we had a place to call home. There is plenty of room for everyone, a great common area for games and dinners. The outdoor space is good to relax on the terrass or in the hot tub. THe kids had fun out on the soccer pitch and in the garage playing pingpong and fussball. We would recommend this place. You do need a rental car to get here and to explore all sites in Iceland.

I cannot say enough about the owners of this property. They were absolutely amazing and made our stay just perfect. I would highly recommend staying in any of their properties while in Iceland. Absolutely beautiful and perfectly maintained homes!!!!

The beds were comfy, the owners very responsive.. Great for a family getaway with hot tub, foosball, ping pong and more. The location is perfect for the golden circle and Northern lights viewing.. could use a few More towels, but other than that this place is perfect and we would stay again in a heartbeat..

We spent 3 nights with extended family touring the area and enjoying the fact that we had a beautiful and comfortable place to finish the day over dinner. We had 8 adults but could have had 10 comfortably. The owners are friendly and attentive. We recommend this property for anyone's Iceland visit.

We stayed for three nights - large group (four couples and four children ages 2-10). It was perfect for our group. Plenty of space, comfy living area to lounge, huge table for big group dinners, great outdoor space with soccer goal, trampoline, and dining area. Hot tub was a big plus! Beds were comfy and showers were hot. Elin and Borkur were amazing hosts. Proximity was great for Golden Circle attractions. We'd definitely come back again!

Had a great week staying in this house with family to celebrate my birthday. House is perfectly situated for the Golden circle and touring the South of Iceland. Take the time to travel to Vik and the black beach, amazing! House has everything you need including a big hit with the younger ones, a bean to cup coffee machine! It was well used. A big thank you to Elen & Borkur for their help and advice in planning this trip. Shopping is good in Selfoss, easy to get to and easy to navigate, about 20 mins away. The young ones enjoyed the pizza from Café Mika! about 10 mins away. The one experience we all enjoyed was sitting in the amazing hot tub with snow falling down on our heads!! I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely home for a holiday in the South of Iceland, enjoy!!

Elin, Borkur and family are the best home owners we have ever rented from. They are incredibly thoughtful and provide little basics that make your stay so nice, and easy like: coffee, shampoo, towels. This in addition to a beautiful house with loads to do in the game room, a great soak hot tub outside, always warm heating, massive eating area big enough for everyone, great kitchen, big shared common space and someone who lives locally to help should you need it made for a smooth stay. We were doing a bit of a whirlwind trip with a big group. We had a few extra small children and they provided air mattresses and bedding that were all set up when we arrived. Not only that but we were celebrating a milestone birthday and Elin emailed with me in advance of our trip with tips on a bakery, grocery stores - so when we arrived we were well equipped to just enjoy our trip. It was so nice to have a great house and such generous owners who didn't mind answering questions and helping to make our celebratory trip really special. I highly recommend renting this house. Oh and the location is right in the middle of all the main attractions so that is perfect too. Now if only Elin and Borkur could guarantee the Northern Lights!! Thanks for a great stay. jd50 group

Great experiences at this rental - spent 5 days/4 nights with a group of 8 touring southern Iceland and made this our home base. The house had everything you could possibly need, the owners were very responsive to questions and accommodating regarding payment. Thank-you Börkur and Elín we will definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect. Nice and clean rooms, beautiful yard and the house has everything you might need. The owners was very helpful and understanding when there was a little trouble with the payment No complaints, the stay was amazing.
