We enjoyed our stay. From rhe creek to Pratt rock, made friends. So now me and my husband are considering moving up here lol. Great experience, we will return.

We had a relaxing time at this quiet and clean home. It came with everything a family of four needed to enjoy the weekend. We loved having space to hang out inside and out.

The cottage was exactly what I needed. A cosy place in a quiet neighborhood and close enough to Hunter Mountain. The hostess is very responsive and helpful.

Overall the cottage is centrally located in the Catskills but the location is not as rural as the pictures depict. The cottage is very clean and the beds are comfortable but there was only 2 bath towels and 1 wash cloth, no toaster or can opener. There was an issue with the hot water heater that made us very nervous. The owner was very cordial and helpful but appears to cut corners whn it comes to maintaining the property.

Spent a Sat night here with very short notice. Owner made it work and considering a big snow storm, really appreciated the effort. Overall, clean place and does the job. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was nice for family of four board games. Would have liked to see some more amenities in house like a toaster oven and some better pans / utensils / paper towels / towels and toilet paper. I would definitely recommend if you need a clean dependable place for the night. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Ella was fantastically accommodating, had great communication with us, and was very kind/informative about anything we had questions about. Her place was very cozy!!! We enjoyed the area, as it was close to a lot of places we were interested in checking out - Kaaterskill Falls, Windham Mountain, a number of stables, and some great places to eat. We recommend the Brie & Bordeaux for a nicer dinner! Loved the sweetness of the little living room with the loving loveseat - adorable. Great money-wise choice. Perfect for one or two couples who want the privacy of their own place but don't want to pay for expensive lodging! Thanks Ella!!

This was my second time staying in Ella's cottage. There was larger group this time, so we had both bedrooms. First time I was only there with a friend and had one bedroom. Both stays were great. I've also stayed at her Bungalow before that she rents next door. The cottage was very nice and clean. I was at cottage with five of my friends.There was enough space for all of us with two bedrooms. I really enjoyed my stay st Ella's place. Ella was very helpful this time and last time with answering my questions. She told me about some great hiking places and restaurants. I can't wait to stay at one of Ella's places again.

I do a lot of travel, especially to the Catskills, and I do not stay anywhere else. I have spent Christmas week in this home and it's one of the best memories I have. The owner is pleasant and diligent with regards to cleanliness and hospitality. Her rental homes reflect this. Whether it's ski season or hiking season, you won't find a better location or a comfier, cozier home. It is central to several well-known ski areas, and the hiking trails in the Catskills are unmatched on the east coast (in my opinion). The trails are the main reason I go so often there--and I've only stayed at this owner's homes. Her use of knick knacks, her seasonally appropriate bedding, smokers, grills, lights--all make for a true home away from home, and I would bet a "better than" home away from home for some. I cannot recommend any better lodging than this.
