Totally private villa with breathtaking views. Well equipped, comfortable bed. The reality is better than the photos and the pool is just amazing. Host hugely helpful and probably the best villa we have ever stayed in. Good Wi-Fi and good 5G connection

This house is spectacular and the view is incredible. Beautifully decorated and, the art on the walls is thoughtfully curated . Comfortable, clean and yet not overdone to the place where relaxation is hard to find. The gardens and variety of plants are truly amazing. Completely private; the swimming pool is a dream. I will be back.

Das Haus liegt an Hanglage, daher gibt es im und ums Haus viele Treppen zu meistern. Angel und seine Frau sind herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Das Haus ist in einem guten Zustannd, es fehlt an nichts. Das Aussenmobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sollte ersetzt werden. Der grosse Pool ist Klasse, im Oktober aber auch sehr kalt. Was wir verbessern würden ist die Feuerstelle, welche zum Grillen kaum zu gebrauchen ist. Wir empfehlen das Haus in Las Negras gerne weiter

Wonderful villa with an amazing view. Beautiful decor inside and masses of room. Angel was very helpful and available if we ever needed him. Haiku takeaway in town was brilliant - open everyday all day until late. I can't recommend this villa highly enough although it is not suitable for the very old or very young.

La casa es espectacular, sobretodo las vistas en la piscina. Tiene diferentes areas para descansar en función del sol y el aire. La casa muy completa y muy bien equipada. La ubicación es excelente para conocer Cabo de Gata. Los propietarios muy atentos, gracias Lito por la estancia

Un séjour parfait dans cette maison sur les hauteurs de las Negras! La maison est grande, les pièces lumineuses, et que dire de la vue! Nous ne nous lassions pas d’admirer la mer, que ce soit depuis la maison ou la superbe piscine! Merci pour ce séjour, tout était parfait!

La casa tiene todo lo que uno puede necesitar, esta limpia y todo funciona. La piscina muy bien (una de las mejores piscinas que he visto) , además con sol por la mañana y sombra por la tarde. Facil acceso con coche eso si la casa tiene bastantes escaleras. La verdad que el anuncio es mejorable, la casa es bastante mas grande de lo que parece en las fotos.

Angel et Dominique, Deux personnes très accueillantes, présentes et discrètes pendant les 15 jours passés dans leur magnifique maison qui surplombe Las Negras. Des instants magiques, chaque matin, devant des levers de soleil magiques sur la mer accompagnés du chant des oiseaux. Angel nous a conté sa région, incité à visiter certains sites, conseillé des restaurants, tout cela avec une grande justesse. Une belle adresse que nous conseillons vivement. Un grand merci à tous les deux.

This was our first visit to this region of Spain. The villa is superb , extremely spacious for our family of five. Angel answered all our queries very promptly. The villa is very well equipped and has a lovely pool. We would definitely return. Thank you Angel.

Magnífica casa. Vistas espectaculares de la bahía de Las Negras. Los propietarios pendientes en todo momento de las necesidades q puedan presentarse. Recomiendo q no dejeis de alojaros en "El Olivo" porque decir q merece la pena se queda corto.

We highly recommend this villa. It is spacious very well equipped and has magnificent views especially from the pool. The town of Las Negras is close and has a very good selection of restaurants and there is also a new Lidl store only 20 minutes drive. Angel is a super host. Book a stay it will exceed your expectations.

Staying at Casa El Olivo is a GIFT! The property is stunning, comfortable and functional, and you will not find better hosts. The village will enchant you, too. I dare you to find a more idyllic home for your perfect Mediterranean seaside getaway!

Our family had a great holiday at this beautiful villa. The owner Angel could not have been more helpful and all correspondence with him was quickly replied to and useful. The property itself was luxurious and beautifully maintained. I would not hesitate to return here or recommend it to others. A*****

Casa el Olivo is one of the best villas we have stayed in. Every bit as beautiful as the pictures, with very tasteful decor, there is so much space to enjoy both inside and out, on the various terraces and in the wonderfully tended gardens. The infinity swimming pool is simply gorgeous, enjoying views over the village of Las Negras and its pretty bay. The owner, Angel, lives in an adjacent property and is there to help if needed but in no way intrudes on your privacy. In Las Negras itself there is a good sized supermarket with a decent range of produce and there is no shortage of nice bars and restaurants with good food. Don't miss the fresh, locally caught fish! A great find was "Haiku", a little delicatessen just on the outskirts of the village which also does takeaway food either available straight away or to order. Their paella (just 2 hours notice for preparation needed) was exceptional. If you are fit it would be perfectly possible to walk into the village but be aware that the walk back up to the villa is steep and not for the fainthearted, especially in the heat. But that is the price for a stunning view, one of the best in the area! It is also worth saying that there are quite a lot of steps around the villa which might make it unsuitable for the infirm and young children would certainly need very close supervision indeed. Further afield, the Cabo de Gata national park is gorgeous and the adjacent village of Rodalquilar (just ten minutes drive) with its wide open and unspoilt beach is a real treat. All-in-all Angel and his wife are lovely hosts and I can think of few better villas for a "get away from it all" break in beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. Great location: a short walk from beach/restaurants/bars of sleepy Las Negras and a short drive to a wide variety of great beaches and small fishing towns. Surrounding landscape is unspoiled, dramatic and beautiful with great hiking and walking. The house itself is excellent - more like 4 inter-linked 1-bed suites sharing a big kitchen and lounge than ‘just’ a 4 bed villa. Huge studio space great for kids. Great pool and terraces (although a little shady towards the end of the day). Stunning gardens and planting throughout. The house is stylish and comfortable without feeling sterile or unwelcoming. Angel the host was very friendly and helpful (he even took the kids to meet his lovely horse Bolero), always available if we needed anything. We’d stay again, with more friends next time to fill the space!

Even though the weather was off for a few days, the villa was a great place to use as home base for exploring the area. Would love to return in warmer weather so we could take advantage of the gorgeous infinity pool and many places to catch the sun. Angel and Dominique helped with whatever we needed to ensure we had a great stay. Thank You !

We had a wonderful stay at Casa el Olivo. Angel and his wife kindly welcomed us to the villa and gave us a very helpful tour of the property. Between us we managed a good conversation in a mixture of Spanish, French and English! :-D The view over the small town of Las Negras and the sea is breathtaking. The villa gets the sun all day, moving from one terrace to another. The villa is well equipped and decorated to a high, modern standard. We visited with a young baby and found it very easy - while the terrace gets the sun all day, there are shady spots thanks to the levelled terraces. We also appreciated the short drive from the airport (30/40 mins). The pool is beautiful, not too much chlorine and a lovely view. A true infinity pool! Las Negras is a small town but has a stony beach and a handful of restaurants. There is a small supermarket which has everything you need for self catering. If you're looking for a restful week in the sun, soaking up a beautiful view, this is the perfect place.

A perfect villa in a perfect location, very well equipped and home from home. All rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Pool was fantastic as were the patios and garden with a hammock, nice game of boules too! Air conditioning a life saver. Highly recommended-Angel is very helpful and friendly. We will return.
