We had a wonderful week in Sulzano. Gorgeous views from the terrace and a well equipped and comfortable villa.

Poor standard. There was an infestation of ants, the house was very cold and you can’t adjust the heating - it’s controlled remotely by the owner. Sulzano is not really walking distance and there’s not much in the town anyway. The upstairs shower is so tiny it’s hard to move. The furniture is dated. The whole place needs a good refurbishment . Don’t be misled by favourable reviews. We actually left part way through our 2 week booking as we couldn’t stay any longer. The town of Iseo would be a better option.

The house lives up to it’s advertised expectations. The location above Lake Iseo and overlooking Monte Isola ( unobstructed) is perfect. On a clear day we see the southern part of the lake and northwards, the beginning of Val Camonica leading into the Italian Alps. Lake Iseo is a much smaller lake than its more famous neighbours but it is the perfect base to see nearby towns without too much difficulty, it is far less busy and less crowded than Lake Como for example. The view from the house provides plenty of interest. The house is extremely comfortable and has stylish decor and is very well equipped especially the kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious. The outside verandah is large is perfect for relaxation and meals. There is a large surrounding private garden which provides peace and tranquillity. There is off street parking. Heating is very well regulated (central heating) and there is an open fireplace as well. Maria is a wonderful host , and was very accommodating and helpful. We would heartily recommend Villa Valeriana.

Many thanks for letting us stay in your fantastic accommodation. The view is absolutely amazing and one we will all remember for a very long time. My sister has done lots of travelling around the world and she said The Taj Mahal in Indian is the same feeling which took her breath away, as the view at your accommodation gave her the same feeling!!! Your accommodation had everything which we needed. It was a home from home feeling with lots of extra bits which were very useful. Hiring a motor boat on the lake was fantastic way of seeing a different view of the landscape. Hopefully one day we shall return back to that area for its outstanding beauty. We spent the Easter week in Maria's house. The views were absolutely outstanding, it kept changing according to the weather and the time of day. We had a glorious Easter lunch in the sunshine on the grass area. It was a bit too cold for the terrasse, but I can imagine one would spend a huge amount of time on it in the summer months. The house itself was very comfortable and the kitchen is super well equipped. There are lots of supermarket to choose from (one walking distance), a great pastry shop and a pizza counter that makes paper thin, melt in the mouth pizzas. We enjoyed spending time in the house (the kids loved playing in the garden, looking for bugs and lizards and jumping off low walls) but it was also a good base to visit the surroundings. We went to Brescia, Verona, Sirmione, Lake Garda. Boat hopping on lake Iseo was also good fun. We would happily come back and recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time gazing at the view, sketching, reading or just slowing down in beautiful surroundings.

This property was totally amazing, the view was just ridiculous, it was difficult to leave the property to do any site seeing it was just so lovely. The hosts were so accommodating we truly felt like we are at home away from home. Thank you - your property was the highlight of our holiay.

Superbe vue sur le lac d'Iseo et Monte Isola, conforme aux photos de l'annonce. C'est un régal de passer du temps sur la terrasse, le matin par exemple au petit déjeuner ou le soir à l'apéritif au moment du coucher de soleil qui éclaire la maison. La vue est dégagée sans obstacle. Il n'y a pas de voisinage direct. L'accès à la maison est facile. La voiture peut être entrée dans le jardin. La maison comporte ce qu'il faut. Salle de bain du haut juste un peu petite. Mme Bertolloti est très conciliante et écrit très bien le français. Il n'y a donc aucun problème pour communiquer avec elle avant et après le séjour. Si le fait de faire un virement à l'étranger de l'intégralité du montant + 1 caution de 500 € avant de partir peut vous inquiéter, soyez rassurés, tout est carré et vous pouvez faire confiance à Mme Bertolotti. Bonnes vacances. Profitez bien comme nous !

The covered veranda definitely makes this property. We were able to eat and read outside the whole visit enjoying the villa's outstanding view. It is quiet but within walking distance to the town for restaurants and groceries and ferry to Montisola. We also highly recommend a day in Bergamo, exploring the wine country, as well as the towns around Lake Iseo. The owners are delightful and very, very responsive to all our questions. Could not have been more pleased.

La maison est aménagée avec goût et très bien équipée. La vue magnifique de la terrasse est tout à fait conforme aux photos de l annonce. Le lac d'iséo est superbe et l eau est claire. De nombreuses visites sont possibles à proximité ( Bergamote, Brescia lac de Garde) Maria est très réactive lorsqu on la contacte par mail et son français est parfait. Nous recommandons cette location pour la beauté du site, le calme et le confort de la maison Une famille de 6 personnes.
