Great location 0.3 miles to beach.House was very spacious, well equipped and clean. The pool was very nice and they cleaned it twice during our week stay because of heavy winds causing leaves to blow in. We needed to book this at the last minute as there was a problem with our VRBO ( dock unfinished) and we had a boat rented for the week. This house ended up being superior to the one we had previously rented. A very happy accident. We will surely be back. Thank you so much to Lars and the crew!

A perfect stay for 8 persons.Nice house with a perfect location in a safe and quiet neighborhood.Clean and comfy with a heated pool, and also a short walk to one of the finest beach we ever experienced.We had accsess to the community beach and felt very welcome there .Some small problems was immidiately solved by the iRenta staff.Hope to come back another time.Warm and nice Florida is in our hearts.

Start with very good: communication with property manager was fantastic! House clean, good, safe location, walk-able area. Close to restaurants, grocery stores. Pool is fab!! bring your own floaties. IMHO: The pictures are deceiving. It was still big enough. We thought it was on a corner lot, it was not. Basically a cul de sac. We were hoping to watch the boats going by. There is a lip to the patio door we all stubbed our toes on a few times. Heads up (or down?). The patio door is veryyy heavy, My sister and I had to use full bodies to get it open and we are not weaklings. There were only 2 teaspoons - If I had gone to Walmart I would have bought more. There is a recycle bin - but we did not know what to recycle. Everything? just glass? plastic? a list would be great. Access to private beach - walk is more like 7-8 minutes (if you walk fast), much longer if you are with children or elderly, or sisters with breathing conditions. You need a gate 'fob'. We did not know this until we went looking for the beach. A quick text to property manager fixed that, and people walking in the area pointed out where the entrance was. Instructions for that should be posted by front door. Walk back to main road, cross to continue on Beacon St. At the end of that street, take a left, about 50 ft on the right you will see a gate. That's it. You need the fob to get in and out. Once through the second gate, people put their belongings , shoes, fob, etc. Patio doors need significant work.

We picked this house for the location and it did not disappoint! If you are bringing your boat, especially to fish, this house is perfect. It is very close to the inlet and offshore fishing spots. Note that it does not have a filet table, which would have been helpful. The pool was a nice way to cool off on hot days. The inside had everything we needed. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. The beds were very comfortable as advertised and the house had plenty of room for us. There are a few things that could use some freshening up but they were minor and all of the other positives more than made up for them. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was great for our extended family vacation. The pool and back patio were enough to make us want to come back. There is private access to the beach, but it is a walk with no parking nearby. But the house had everything that we needed for four adults and two teenagers.

The stay was amazing. We had a wonderful time. The house is very close to a wonderful beach area. The kitchen is stocked which made cooking easy. The pool was warm and the fishing kept our boys busy for hours each day. Having 2 bedrooms on each end of the home made it perfect for 2 families vacationing together.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It was perfect for our family of 9. We loved the separation of the four bedrooms where two of them were in one part of the house and two were on the other side. The setting was beautiful on the water and the heated pool was so nice for all of us. The beach access fob was great and it was such a short walk to get there. We rented a golf cart and really enjoyed the beautiful area and all it had to offer. The area of Pompano Beach was quiet and we loved the Community Park. So many good food choices too. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Overall - very good, however we had significant difficulties with the wifi and TV. while the property manager was very responsive it still took over a day to repair. Beach access was wonderful and the house/pool were clean. Beds were comfy and linens/towels well stocked.

The location on the canal is wonderful and the proximity to the (private) beach as well.
We booked the house at very short notice and when we arrived there were a few small deficiencies (bike, icebox, grill, no bath towels and pads at the pool).
However, these were fixed very quickly. Sean from iRenta and also the property manager were always available and took good care.
We were six in the house (4 adults and 2 children) and can really recommend it.
One tenant left a very negative review here. Since I can only say: yes, in the house may be some in the years, but ultimately a vacation home can only be as good as the tenants treat it....
We would book it again.

Property was as described and clean. Only concern was both doors from the screened in patio need the handles replaced. One simply didn't work and the other was "functional" but it was necessary to work with it a little whenever it was necessary for the door to remain closed.
It might be a thought to consider to change the box the entry key is locked into as the numbers on the combination lock are very difficult to read. Part of that may be we arrived at night in the dark and left early in the morning in the dark and even with a flashlight the numbers were very difficult to distinguish.
Otherwise, it was a great place with lots of room for all of us!!

Schlechtes Ferienhaus - keine Empfehlung
Die Beschreibung des Hauses entspricht nicht den Tatsachen und den Bildern. Die Bilder wurden vor 10-15 Jahren aufgenommen. Das Haus ist abgewohnt, ungepflegt und eine Grundreinigung des Hauses hat vor sehr langer Zeit stattgefunden. Der Pool war mit Algen versetzt, die Liegen hatten keine Auflagen, die Fenster waren sehr verschmutzt. 4x hatten wir Kakerlaken im Haus. von 1-A-Bettwäsche kann hier keine Rede sein. Auch der Flair des Hauses entspricht nicht Beschreibung. Die Holzböden sind aus Plastik….. Die Hausverwaltung hat auf unsere Mails nicht reagiert. Offizielle Beschwerde bei FEWO eingereicht. Fazit: Dies ist nur ein Auszug der Geschehnisse. Wir werden dieses Haus nie mehr besuchen und können jedem nur davon abraten.

Résidence très confortable
Nous avons fait un séjour du 01 au 09 mai 2022. Grande maison, aire ouverte accueillante, chacun avait son espace, quartier tranquille. Parfait pour une famille ou entre amis. La mer est à 10 minutes de marche et la plage de Pompano à 10 minutes en voiture.
Nous avons profité aussi de la piscine et de la grande cour. Points à améliorer. certains articles de base étaient soit manquante ou désuète ( guenille, linge à vaisselle, jeu de piscine ) valider avec l'hôte avant votre arriver.

Overall there were multiple disappointments regarding the house. The walk to the beach is not as short as described and does require walking across a busy street. The fridge did not work (a small replacement was there, but had no ice maker and definitely could not fit food for 8 people) there was no propane for the grill, and no fishing poles as advertised. The pool was also is a poor condition when we arrived, water was down so low that the skimmer was not working and required 45min cleaning to make it swimable. Only saving grace was the property manager was quick to respond.

We had a lovely week long stay at the Hillsboro Beach Retreat. There were 7 of us in total and the space was roomy enough for all. The house was very clean and the outdoor space was perfect. The pool was nice and warm when we arrived. The private beach access was wonderful and the beach is just a short walk from the property. The only issues we had were not a big deal, but one thing to note - the bikes are in terrible shape. We attempted a family bike ride, but that was laughable at best. If you plan on riding bikes, I recommend renting from the bike shop down the street. Parts of the house were nice and updated and others could use a tweak. The sofa could also use a deep cleaning, as it is light in color and shows dirt easily. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Perfect - and safe - getaway during COVID
The house and location were perfect for a family-friendly beach getaway. While it rained during our entire stay, we had pockets of no rain that allowed us to enjoy fishing off of the dock, swim in the warm pool, and/or walk to the private access beach.
To top it off, the property manager was very responsive and accommodating with our stay. Recommend this property and would stay again.

We recently stayed in this property for one week. The location is good and easy to find. The property was very clean and provided most things we were looking for. Some small repairs needed to be addressed. Over all a good experience.

I contacted the property manager upon arrival (leaving 3 messages and finally reaching someone directly) - my concern was a broken door. Although I was told someone would come to address the issue, no one came by and I never received any follow up phone calls. The home and pool were clean and the linens were very nice. The home could use additional cookware and plastic/pool appropriate cups. The private beach we had access to was a disappointment. It was covered in seaweed and had an unpleasant odor. The public beach nearby was very nice and clean and easily accessible.
