A notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par la propriétaire qui a pris le temps de nous partager ses bons plans (les gaufres du front de mer, un délice !) et ses conseils pour visiter les alentours ou nous restaurer. La maison est cosy et agréable. Les lits étaient faits et les serviettes à disposition, très appréciable. Nous avons pu faire quelques courses à l'Intermarché non loin, mais aussi à la boulangerie du village et aux marchés de Courseulles-sur-mer (mention spéciale pour le marché aux poissons, tout droit sortis des bateaux...). La maison est située près de Juno Beach : nous avons donc pu visiter les sites liés au débarquement canadien (Arromanches, cimetière canadien, musée Juno Beach...). Très insctuctif. Très bon séjour.

toller Urlaub!! - langer Sandstrand in Laufweite - schöner Ort mit allem, was man braucht (Bäcker, Supermarkt, Restaurant...), aber nicht zu groß! - direkt am Radweg, der mal direkt am Meer entlang, mal durch den Ort führt - super zu fahren! tolles Haus mit allem, was man braucht - gut ausgestattete Küche inkl. Erstausstattung - sehr nettes Lesezimmer mit Spielen und kleiner Buchauswahl - Ersatzhandtücher falls erforderlich - wunderschöner Garten mit vielen Blumen, toll gepflegt und sogar Obst für uns zum Ernten! - Lounge-Ecke vor dem Haus und Gartenmöbel hinter dem Haus, dazu Sonnenschirm und Liegen - das war uns gar nicht bewusst von der Ausschreibung her -> topp! - schützende Mauern um den Garten als toller Windschutz. Im Nachbarort ist 2x die Woche Markt (mit dem Rad über einen Fahrradweg erreichbar), Bayeux/Caen sind gut erreichbar, schöne Umgebung mit fantastischen Häusern (auch im Ort selbst). Das Haus selbst liegt ruhig und trotzdem ist alles gut erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

De revenir dans cette jolie maison, de se reposer dans le jardin en fleur et de revoir Caroline et ses bons tuyaux. On y retournera c'est sûr.

Maison parfaitement située pour visiter les sites et musées du débarquement, Hôte très agréable, avec beaucoup de renseignements. Jardin super mignon et bien fleuri. Maison bien équipée, agréable pendant cette période creuse hors congé, route passante, prévoir un WC en complément dans la SdB de l'étage.

La location est conforme au descriptif, bon niveau d’équipement, belle décoration sobre et propreté impeccable. Le jardin est à la hauteur de la maison, très fleuri avec salon et table. La mer est à proximité on y va facilement à pied. Le petit plus la météo était très bonne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour même si les restaurants étaient fermés 😞, la maison est superbe et bien équipée. Très bon accueil de Caroline et de bons conseils. Pour cette période de l’année je vous conseille cet endroit. Normandy Forever !!!

Très bon séjour chez Caroline, dans une maison très agréable, très bien équipée, propre et décorée avec goût. Caroline est adorable, disponible et de bons conseils. La région est chargée d'histoire mais les musées étaient fermés, donc nous reviendrons au printemps.

Un grand merci pour cet agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison où tout est pensé pour qu'on se sente comme chez soi, il ne manque rien !

Séjour agréable

Une très bonne expérience pour toute la famille. La maison est très propre et confortable. Le jardin est bien entretenu et permet de profiter de l extérieur. L accueil est chaleureux. Très bonne location.

Très agréable week-end entre amies dans cette jolie maison très bien équipée. Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de profiter de tous les aménagements extérieurs, mais le jardin est aussi beau que la décoration intérieure. C’était un plaisir de traiter avec Caroline dont l’accueil sur place a été très chaleureux. Je reviendrais avec plaisir.

This property is literally a doll house. Very homey and fit our needs in an above average way! Loved it!

Photographs on website are accurate for this property. We stayed for 10 days in September. We felt the house was chilly in the late evenings and early mornings. When I enquired about access to heating the response I received was that boiler was not put on until the end of September and there was no secondary form of heating. We feel that for the price of this property that heating should be available as required and not at the owner's discretion. Need to be aware that there is no toilet upstairs in the house. This presents a problem if one needs to use toilet during the night as you have to go downstairs and through the kitchen. Also, there is no hand basin in the toilet so to wash your hands you either have to use kitchen sink or go upstairs to bathroom. Not ideal for hygiene purposes. Other than those points we had a very enjoyable stay. Weather was mostly good during the day and the garden is lovely to sit in. Very quiet while we were there.

Great location very close to Juno beach. Our host was very accommodating. The house was well kept, well supplied and very clean. Easy to park right on site.

Wir haben uns in dem Haus, dem Garten und in Bernière-sur- Mer sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Die Vermieterin, Caroline, hatte uns sehr nett empfangen, sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, mit vielen kleinen liebevollen Details. Farblich war alles sehr schön abgestimmt, jeder Raum hatte seinen eigenen Charme. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, den Backofen fanden wir wirklich klasse. Die Lage am Ortsrand ist ruhig und wir konnten sehr gut schlafen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Das Wetter war sehr angenehm, so dass wir jede Mahlzeit in dem wunderschönen Garten genießen konnten. Dazu haben wir Tisch und Stühle in den Garten vor dem Haus gestellt. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei und haben viel von der schönen Umgebung und den Orten entlang der Küste gesehen. So haben wir Radtouren nach Arromanches-les-Bains und mehrmals nach Ouistreham gemacht. Dazu konnten wir fast durchgehend die Uferpromenaden entlangfahren, die während der Schulferien meistens nicht befahren werden dürfen. Die schönsten Badestrände haben wir im Bereich zwischen Lion-sur-Mer und Ouistreham gefunden. Sehr viel Freude hatte uns das Boulespielen auf dem Deich (mit Meerblick) in Ouistreham gemacht. Wir waren nun das zweite Mal in der Normandie. Das erste Mal waren wir eine Woche in Benerville-sur-Mer (bei Deauville) und anschließend eine Woche in Granville. Wir denken gerne an diesen schönen Urlaub in dem gemütlichen Haus in Bernière-sur-Mer und an Carolines Freundlichkeit zurück. Gabi und Helmut

Casa affascinante per struttura, arredo e dettagli. Molto accogliente e pulita. Ha a disposizione tutto ciò che può servire ad una famiglia in vacanza come barbecue e arredi da esterno... Abbastanza vicina a tutte le località interessanti dello sbarco e di interesse storico-naturalistico della Normandia. Soggiorno molto piacevole

The house has everything we needed and I would stay here again when visiting Normandy. Due to the spring weather, we weren’t able to enjoy the lawn chairs or the nearby beach, but I can see that as being the high point of a summer stay.

La maison est super, chaleureuse surtout et bien équipée. On s’y sent bien et on a plaisir à s’y trouver, elle est fonctionnelle et décorée avec goût, rien à dire. Un super accueil avec conseils sur les restaus et les visites à faire ! Des prospectus sont à disposition, super pratique. Très bien située pour le parcours des plages du débarquements et le mémorial à Caen Je recommande sans hésiter !

The house was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. It is in a quiet location but minutes away from the beach. Our interest was in the D day landings and the Normandy campaign in WW2 and access to all areas was easy. Caroline had many brochures giving info about this topic. La maison de Caroline correspond parfaitement aux photos présentées : belle, spacieuse et bien agencée, très propre, dans une rue très calme et peu passante, parfaitement située par rapport à la mer (3 minutes en vélo, 10 à pieds) et au centre de Bernières-sur-Mer – un magnifique petit village (grand supermarché, pharmacie, excellentes boulangerie et crèperie) sur Juno Beach, sur la très belle et calme Côte de Nacre. Avec nos deux enfants et sans voiture, nous y avons passé deux semaines inoubliables. Nous tenons à remercier encore Caroline et son époux, toujours très disponibles et généreux. Une de nos meilleures locations dans l'absolu, que nous conseillons vivement.

Très jolie petite maison, bien équipée, avec goût et très bien située tant point de vue mer que activités régionales.Très bon accueil par une propriétaire très sympathique.

My family of 6 stayed at this beautiful little house for 3 nights in July. Caroline met us at the house to give us the key. She was very sweet and although language was a bit of a barrier we still managed to communicate. The house was perfect. It had 3 bedrooms and enough room for my family. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was walking distance to Juno beach. Very quaint and charming.

This was a great place because it was close to everywhere we needed to be, while not being in a very touristy area. We really enjoyed walking to the bakery every morning, and then around the corner for a coffee. I would definitely return here--the house had everything we needed, including the most beautiful courtyard that was made even more beautiful by several bottles of nice French rosé :-)
