מארחים נפלאים, עם כל הלב. גסט האוס, אנשים מכל העולם, והמארח הכין מסיבה של אוכל יפני לכולם. בבוקר אפשר להכין ארוחת בוקר, ארוח מכל הלב, עזרה והסברים וטיפים קטנים על מה לראות ומתי.

לא נקי כמצופה מבית הארחה ביפן. אבל המארח היה גם חולה, וייתכן שזה מקרי .

We are a family with three teenage-kids from germany and had a great stay. Ellen and Yo made us feel like home. They picked us up from the station so we didn't had to walk with the luggage - the way to the house is not far but a bit hilly. We could use the kitchen and the living room was a common place for everybody. Ellen and Yo had good hints for our sightseeing trips and were very helpful and just great hosts.

Nothing, everything was fine.

Yo and Ellen were extremely hospitable, even driving us to the local grocery store and the Miyajima ferry. it was great conversing with other travelers around the dinner table.

As it is a functioning family home, it could have been better organized and cleaner.

The hosts, Yo and Ellen's home was literally a home away from home experience! They showed me above and beyond hospitality unlike any other guesthouse or hotel I've stayed at, I enjoyed conversations with them and the other guests, and I felt privileged to stay in an authentic Japanese home in such a quiet and beautiful neighborhood with some of the warmest hosts I'll ever meet! I stayed in a gorgeous traditional tatami style room and got to see a fantastic view of the whole island of Miyajima from the balcony connected to my room. It was a more magical experience than staying on the island to only get a limited view of one part of the island at insane prices. As I learned later, many places on Miyajima close very early so it would have been very inconvenient to stay on the island. The supermarket close to their house is open from 7:00 until 23:00, and there's also two convenient stores very close by open 24 hours if I needed it. Fortunately, Yo and Ellen thought of everything because everything I needed including snacks, breakfast items like bread, cereal, jam, and milk, and many drinks were available for guests to use! They offered the best advice you could only get from locals about Miyajima. Yo had many experiences working in other guesthouses and hotels many years ago so he knows more than anyone about the best places to explore on the island. Apparently he's been hosting for 10 years and you can clearly feel his love for his hometown! As great as those two were, the highlight of my stay was their adorable 2 year old who kept me company and showered everyone with so much love that she'll make your heart melt! It was amazing how they manage to stay so attentive to their guests, responding almost immediately to messages and requests while raising a family. I would absolutely come back!

The hosts are more than amazing! They were very nice picking me up from Miyajima station and took me back in the morning. I forgot sth really important at the house and they sent it to me really fast to my new destination. I can't be more thankful, for real.

Great position close to the train and ferry station, around 10 mins walk. Hosts were so kind and let us park our car in their property. Our room had a balcony with a nice view on Miyajima island. We had the opportunity to experience the Japanese life since the family is living in the house, we would definitely come back!
