Valeria, the host, makes up for all the things the apartment lacks. She has the vibrant and overwhelming energy of a person in love with life and her job. She organized the transfer to/from the airport, rent-a-car and provided great tips for local restaurants and things to see. Even though in the age of communication you can find all those information by yourself, it was convenient to have Valeria take care of everything. She is a great ambassador of Sardinia and the best person you can meet if you are coming to Sardinia for the first time as you will get to know Alghero and surroundings as the locals do. Also, another great point is the apartment location. It’s in the heart of the old city center and there are several great restaurants and bars around.

If you are looking for big windows, lots of light and sunshine, skip this apartment. Being in one of the buildings in the old town, it’s very dark (which is to be expected after all). We visited in May with chili nights and mornings. The heating did not work (there is only one heater in the living space), but we did not spend too much time indoors, so it worked for us with an extra sweater on. Given the layout of the apartment (very long space), the wifi works best in the sleeping area. It doesn’t work in the living area. Also, the bathroom is extremely small.

Great location in old town. Valeria did a wonderful job allowing us to stay a little longer for a small fee as our flight was in the evening. Super host even dropped a forgotten item to the airport! would stay again.

Beautiful apartment, spacious, very clean and well kept. Valeria, the host, was courteous and helpful. The apartment was located at the center of the city, in a lively and gorgeous historic centre. With plenty of shops and restaurants and the brightly lit harbour with street artists and stalls.

There was no washing machine and hanging rack in the apartment. Some more storage in the bathroom would have been useful.

We found the apartment a bit uncomfortable in many ways. The bed sofa was very uncomfortable for exempel. The shower was really small and it was very easy to change water temperature by mistake. The place was quite dark and smelled a bit mouldy. I guess we did not long to go back to the apartment each day efter long days of sight seeing. It would have been nice if more things were carefully thought out.

Valeria was an outstanding host, so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She really made our stay enjoyable.The apartment is perfect with a great location. Highly recommended!

Very nice host, Valeria, helped us with everything. When we arrived to apartment we found very good equipped kitchen and extra food for us (coffee, milk, bread, butter e.i.). She organized our trip to LaMaddalena and advised where to go for a dinner or which places to visit.

The apartment is gloomy, the pictures are very misleading. The lighting needs to be "on" all day long. There is no place where you can hang your wet towels and swimwear.
