My husband and I stayed at the apartment for a month. This is our 2nd time staying there. We loved it as much as we did the first time get. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the views take your breath away. You have all you need in the apartment. And what makes it special is Henri welcoming you and helping in every possible way. Quiet location that is close to everything you need including groceries, boulangerie, bus and train station. the 2 balconies loaded with plants were pure pleasure! the apartment was well equiped with everything you could need - it's always nice when there are plenty of towels and blankets!

My husband and I had a great stay at this characterful, practical and perfectly located loft apartment in the centre of Narbonne. Ideally located for the train station and local shops, restaurants and attractions. Many thanks to Henri the host who greeted us on arrival and showed us round.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is in a wonderful locations, the core of Narbonne is easy walking distance in all directions. Henri and Chantal have done a wonderful job with this spot, lots of nice, artistic touches and great attention to detail. The view of the cathedral from the terrace is fantastic and a great place to have a glass or two of wine in the evening. Henri was very responsive and helpful with the few questions we had. Their place is a easy 5 star winner!

Four of us spent a thoroughly enjoyable week here. The flat is spacious and comfortable, with terraces on either side providing plenty of outdoor space and a welcome through breeze. The decor was interesting and the kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally spacious. The views of the cathedral, especially at twilight, with jackdaws wheeling around the towers, were stunning. Would definitely visit again. Henri was really helpful for all our queries and even met us at the train station to bring us to the nearby flat in person. Narbonne is a beautiful, low-key town and we hired bikes or took buses to explore the region - we even swam at Gruissan Plage in October due to the very sunny weather. All in all, a great holiday

This is a great place. We could not have been happier. Henri met us at the apartment and walked us around to show us the layout. The apartment is huge and has two terraces that let in an abundance of light. Location cannot be better. Everything you need is in the apartment. Very happy we stayed here.

We stayed 6 nights here and really enjoyed the apartment . We had a mix of weather so if was great to chill with loads of space great views and a well appointed kitchen . We stated to feel like locals . Being so close to the train station was also a bonus as we dodo t have a car .

Henri, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating -- the perfect host. The apartment is splendid in every way: spacious, well-equipped, comfortable furnishings and beds, large bathroom, great view of the cathedral, very centrally located to the historic city center. The apartment is decorated in a stylish avante-garde style. The kitchen is superb. We cooked every meal, and found it to be very well-equipped. We are a family of 5, and were very comfortable for our stay of 4 nights. Highly recommended!

Henri's loft is truly outstanding. Wonderful location in a quiet building (with elevator!) in Narbonne's historic center. Beautifully furnished, fabulous, industrial-inspired design, incredible kitchen, TWO terraces - who could ask for anything more? Highly recommended!

Cool modern and well-equipped apartment only 5 mins walk from central Narbonne and the train station / auto-train with lovely terrace / views over the city. A great place to hang out (kitchen is particularly well-equipped and with a Carrefour local + great markets nearby ver easy to self-cater in style) and very well-placed to explore the city on foot. Thanks Henri for a very warm and helpful welcome too, we hope to visit again.

This was the nicest rental we have ever had. The apartment is superbly located 5 minutes from the center. It is spacious, clean, very well equipped and stunning. Henri was kind enough to meet our train, get us settled in and even arranged a hard-to-get dentist appointment for my husband who broke a tooth on the train. We hope to return next year.

We had a very good stay, Henri picked us up from the station and took us to the appartment and showed us around. The appartment more than fulfilled our expectations, the kitchen was very well equipped and everywhere was very comfortable. The view over to the Cathedral and rooftops was excellent. We really enjoyed watching the jackdaws displaying around the Cathedral each evening. We found transport, shopping, bars and restaurants in Narbonne very accessible and had a very restful stay.

Nice welcome, very clean place, eclectic decor which we liked. The music festival was on and it was a great experience. We would recommend the property.

After much Internet searching came upon Henri's rooftop apartment in Narbonne which looked great from the images but you are always a bit sceptical when things look this good. In our view at least it exceeded our expectations the views are amazing of the Cathedral and rooftops and the quality of the accommodation and style in which it is furnished are extremely good and up to date from the industrial styling and retro furnishings to the modern kitchen and Bang and Olufsen sound system. The apartment is ideally located to enjoy Narbonne centre and canal waterfront together with its great access to the train and bus station to travel locally to Gruissan (1 Euro) or Carcassone /Bezier by the train. Only back home 3 days and already thinking about returning next year.

The place looked even better in real life than in pictures. Spacious, clean, modern apartment (industrial design chic) in a central location and with stunning view of the old cathedral from one of the balconies. Very quiet and private too, in that block it's the only apartment (top floor), rest is occupied by offices so very quiet at all times. Henri showed us around and we found the place had everything we needed for our 3 day stay - wish we were there for longer and definitell will be back. Henri was always on hand, very responsive and attentive - thank you very much for everything! We hired a car from the airport so he met us off the motorway exit after the toll and we followed him into town to the apartment. We asked him to pre-book parking in the big car park Mediatheke opposite the apartment and found it to be a great thing to do - not cheap but we always found a space, it's accessible 24/7 even during times when it's closed to public and completely secure, only accessible with a swipe card out of hours. Yes there are quite a few street parking spaces around but you have to remember to pay at set times of a day and have never a guarantee you'll find a spot nearby. Town square is only 5mins walk with lots of places to eat, drink and explore quality of French joie de vivre. There's Carefour 5mins walking distance from the apartment, big food market 10mins away and beautiful quaint narrow streets of old historic town to explore. Narbonne beach is 20mins drive with vast stretches of sand and this time of the year it was quite empty - lots of space, great for long walks too. This was our 2nd visit to Narbonne and first stay in this apartment, we will be coming back and hoping to book this very same place.

Henri is an amazing host. He picked us up at the train station, despite our train being 2 hours late. The apartment has everything you need and more. Henri and his wife have paid a lot of attention to detail and some of the things in the apartment I wanted to ship home. It is a central location, quiet and with 2 stunning terraces. Quite often, places you rent are not quite as good as the photos. Well not in this case. The apartment is better than any holiday rental I've stayed it and that is quite a few. Thanks, Henri.

This apartment is a little slice of heaven, we could have stayed forever. A perfect location in Narbonne, with fabulous views of the cathedral, Henri was the perfect host, meeting us and giving us a lovely welcome.

Henri and CHantal were quite the most gracious and welcoming hosts. From the moment Henri picked us up at the train station until we (sadly) had to return home, he was attentive and responsive to our requests. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos, give or take some furniture movement,clean,delightfully quirky and wonderfully appointed with the best of all kitchen equipment, the beds are comfy, the walk in shower very roomy and the private terraces on both sides of the flat gave us quality togetherness. The catherdral is lit up at night and there is no more perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The apartment's central location meant we were literally minutes away from lots of places of interest in the city but also within striking distance of the canal and countryside. Sadly the wind was so strong (East Lothian strong!) that we did not hire any bikes to explore deeper into the countryside. A thoroughly pleasing four days of relaxation and discovery and we would certainly return and recommend further. Un grand plaisir!

You can never find a better place than Henri and Chantal's apartment. It was the BEST apartment we stayed in from the 3-week trips with my girlfriends from Nice, Marseille, Narbonne, Lourdes to Toulouse and the best landlords! The apartment - the photos spoke themselves. It was 5-min walk from the center square, 10-min walk from Narbonne train station, the apartment was massive - 2 bedrooms, 1 bath but with huge double sink n massive open shower, living room, dining room, kitchen - am not kidding, everything was proportionately huge with Henri's handiwork in most of the stuff in the apt! 1 huge and 1 small terrace, the big overlooking a real ancient church. But, since I am a cook, I appreciated the kitchen the best - huge and with all the comforts of a chef's kitchen, except for a magic bullet blender....:0). Extremely clean, because the landlords do everrything themselves! The beds were so so comfortable and linens in the designerr category! The Band and Olufsen docking station (4S only, though) was superb, just as the wi-fi! Landlords - Henri picked us up from the train station, what a service! He dropped us off, too! Henri and Chantal - thank you so much for the awesome stay! We could never have imagined a better landlords, apt, and stay, than at your place and Narbonne! Narbonne - small but quaint town. We loved meandering the little streets, enjoying Les Halles - like La Boqueria of Barcelona - fresh produce stalls - veggies, fruits, meats, and little restaurants and pastry places. We found the wonderful L'Entre Temps restaurant with fabulous food and waitress- Natalie - she was a hoot, and befriended a couple from Belgium who often the place when they are in town for 6 months! Le Cuisiniers Cavistes was fabulous restaurant, too - ambiance, food, service - exquisite - love the beef w/ a slice of seared pure duck liver on top - to die for!!!!. Thursday was a flea market day - though not in the Amerrican sense of selling junks- but more like farmer's market type - clothes, purses, shoes, perfumes, soaps, hats, scarves.....the 3 days we were there was not enough - one must stay from Wed - Sunday and just enjoy Narbonne and the apartment. Henri and Chantal, thank you again for being the best and having the best apartment! We love and miss you two. Am certainly looking forward to renting your place again. Lorna Mebs

My husband and I have just spent a wonderful week in this apartment in Narbonne. Having driven from the Airport, we were met in town by Henri who guided us by car to the apartment. He had arranged parking for us in advance in the secure car park across the road. The apartment, which is on the top floor of a quiet building and has a lift with some stairs to the very top floor, is located very close to the centre of Narbonne. It is only a few minutes walk to restaurants, cafes and the market and has two supermarkets nearby. The apartment is spacious and has been remodelled with originality in a loft style fashion with great attention to detail. The two terraces at opposite sides of the building were a wonderful addition being extremely private and well furnished with the added advantage of providing a through flow of air keeping the apartment cool. The view overlooking the Cathedral is spectacular. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable including a very well appointed kitchen with a wonderful range cooker (which my husband put to good use), very comfortable beds, a powerful shower and fast WiFi. A washing machine plus a line and pegs was also very useful. The B&O docking station was a nice surprise too. Henri responded quickly to our initial enquiry and all other dealings were prompt and courteous. He was extremely helpful when we arrived and took time to show us round and explain how the various appliances worked. He contacted us during our stay to make sure that we had no problems and was available should we need him. We have rented many apartments in various countries and this has definitely been one of our favorites. We would certainly return and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends. We recently spent 3 weeks at Henri and Chantelle's apartment in Narbonne. The apartment is very comfortable, trendy and conveniently located at the edge of Narbonne's old town. It had all the amenities we needed and a kitchen that was fully outfitted. It is also within walking distance to the train station. We arrived by train and took a 5 minute walk to the apartment where we were met at the front door for a quick tour of the building & apartment. There are 2 large terraces, one off the bedrooms and one off the kitchen/living room. The latter has a great view of the Narbonne Cathedral. The apartment was fully equipped and easily had everything we needed for our 3 week stay. Narboone is a very pretty town and a great jump off point for exploring the area. The Canal de la Robine runs straight through the town. The canal is flanked by two long promenades lined with trees, cafes and shops. The ocean is only 15 minutes away by car which we advise you have for exploring the area (Carcasonne, etc..). Parking is conveniently available in the car park across the street from the apartment building

We stayed here for two weeks and were both very sad to leave! Could of stayed in this apartment in Narbonne forever! Henri is wonderful, very kind and thoughtful and they have thought of everything in the apartment, it is very well equipped, and very clean. We would love to come and stay here again and highly recommend anyone viewing this apartment to book straight away!! Narbonne is also a delight with loads of lovely places to eat and lots of lovely walks around the town and down the canal. The views also from the apartment are stunning especially at sunset when all the birds roost in the trees.... makes me want to go back right now!!! Thank you so much Henri and Chantel!!
