Very unique and fun tropical vibe! Loved the balcony and all the amenities. Walking distance to beach, marina, shopping and restaurants. Caroline was so welcoming, friendly and accessible. She also provided great recommendations for transportation and local activities. Great stay in Port Douglas.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. This is our second time and if not for Covid would have been our third. Caroline is the perfect host who has thought of absolutely everything including even an ice making machine ! The apartment is beautifully furnished. Bright with a tropical feel. Situated right in the middle of town with a beautiful view overlooking the inlet. We did not want to leave. We will certainly be back. Thanks Caroline Ted and Lesley

Great studio apartment well fitted out with all you need.Fantastic position in main street with lovely view. Only drawback for us was the very loud music from Court House Hotel till 11pm 5 out of 7 nights.

Tequila Sunrise is the perfect place to showcase Port Douglas. The view is lovely, apartment is perfect and the location is excellent being directly above shops, restaurants and close to Marina. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else 😍

Cute and quaint with loads or style. The view from balcony was just beautiful as I made cocktails from a very well equipped bar and kitchen. Our lovely host Caroline has thought of everything that her guests could possibly need to make the stay comfortable and very enjoyable . The best location in Port Douglas for food fun and adventure ! Such a comfortable place with loads of character and the photographs really do accurately reflect the apartment. Caroline is an excellent host and responsive to her guests' needs. Our first stay in Port Douglas and we really appreciated being so centrally located - just a short walk to nearly everything and a few steps from the beautiful Cliff Walk that ends up at Four Mile Beach.

We loved Caroline's apartment for our first stay in Port Douglas. The decor is wonderful and absolutely puts you in holiday mode, and it is thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you could want for a holiday. Loved the location close to the park, shops, dining, and yet it was very quiet inside. Hope to return and highly recommended.

My husband and I spent 7 nights in Port Douglas staying at the wonderful Tequila Sunset on Macrossan Street. It was perfection in every way. The apartment was comfortable and clean and Caroline was the perfect host providing everything you would need for your home away from home. We had a beautiful view from the balcony while enjoying a cocktail or two and brekkie most mornings. Everything was in walking distance which made our stay so much easier. We will return!

Just had a wonderful stay at Tequila Sunset, this was our second stay at this amazing studio apartment and I'm sure we'll be back!! There is a real tropical vibe to this studio and we love that. It very large and very comfortable for 2. Caroline has thought of everything, we particularly like the ice machine for cocktails on the balcony overlooking the inlet. The location is the best in Port Douglas, especially if you enjoy dining out, visiting the local pubs and the Tin Shed, they're all at your doorstep. The pool is very relaxing and the staff at the resort make you feel very welcome. Thank you Caroline for another perfect week in PD, we'll see you next time...Sandy and Bob

We could not fault a single thing about this apartment. Caroline has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. The apartment is exactly as advertised and we loved coming home to it after a day of activities. The location could not be better with fantastic views and right in the heart of the restaurants and bars etc. The complex also has a lovely pool and spa area. We will definitely come back to Port Douglas and wouldn't even look at any other accommodation options.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise and enjoyed eating our breakfast each morning looking out to the ANZAC Park across the road and the Coral Sea.Caroline has put a lot of thought into all the little things you might need when staying in Tequila Sunrise such us shopping bags, beach chairs, hats, umbrella, cooler bag and freezer block. Coles and a couple of bottle shops are an easy 4 or so minutes walk from the apartment, as well as heaps of wonderful restaurants. You will not be disappointed with your stay in Tequila Sunrise. Me and my wife we had a very enjoyable stay especially on New Year Eve with spectacular fire works view from the apartment. On arrival we were greeted by property owner very nice lady Caroline. I would recommend this property very strongly.

We absolutely loved this place! The wife and I visited Port Douglas as part of our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Tequlia Sunset is at the tip of the main downtown strip, easy to explore and visit restaurants and shops. The outdoor patio/kitchen was fun to hang out in and view the different species of birds, see the boats go by, and take in other town activities. Caroline was super friendly and met us when we arrived. And the front desk reception (Kel) was very helpful in recommending tours (we wanted to see the reef and the rainforest). We highly recommend this place and would book it again on our next visit to Port Douglas.

This is an outstanding apartment. Absolutely perfect for two adults who would like to be in the heart of Port Douglas, within walking distance of everything you need whilst staying in an apartment with water views that has been supplied with all you could possibly need in order to enjoy a tropical holiday in paradise. Caroline has thought of everything. Her apartment is decorated with a modern tropical feel that make one relax as soon as you enter. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchenette, huge tv, Netflix just to name a few amenities. Ice cold air conditioning, fans and the ice machine all make the transition to the tropics comfortable. The large pool and spas are easily accessible. It was too hot for the sauna but there if you need it. The apartment is located right in the heart of town. A short stroll to Crystalbrook Super yacht Marina, directly across from the park. You could not get a more perfect location if you wish to not have a car and just walk to wherever takes your fancy. Take Caroline’s advice on walks and restaurants...she knows her stuff. At busy times book ahead especially for fabulous restaurants like Salsa. The Mexican was outstanding and the Tin Shed great value with stunning views. We can’t rate this apartment high enough. We will be back. Just Magic. Ps You really made Xmas special. Thank you Caroline !!!!

What can I say? Wow. Tequila Sunset is simply the best studio apartment for 2 in Port Douglas. We loved everything about it. Location, views, decor and personal touches including all toiletries, beach towels, sunscreen, sun hats, and even an ice-making machine! I could go on. Our host Caroline has thought of everything. From the moment we stepped inside the apartment we felt like we were on holidays. Such a tropical and relaxed feeling. The first morning we went out for breakfast but decided the best place for breakfast was actually on our balcony overlooking the park and inlet. Stunning views. The hustle and bustle of the Macrossan street below with shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Everything was at our fingertips. We will definitely be back next year to Port Douglas staying at Tequila Sunset. Unless of course it’s booked out (we have told so many of our friends and acquaintances about it!). I hope not. PS: No need to buy earplugs. When the shutters are closed at night. No noise from the street below. To Caroline. Thank you. You are the perfect host with the perfect apartment. We loved it.
