The house is just as Eric describes. It is in a safe and quiet location with easy access to the beach. While it is an older home, it is clean and taken care of. We would stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area for the price and location.

Had a great time again

The property was just what we needed. We have stayed at Oak Island for the last several years, but a price increase caused me to look elsewhere. The owner was communicative and easy to deal with. This was a much nicer house for the same price as Oak Island.

The property was as described. I let the owner now upon check in that there were little or no paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) so we were sure to add the to our run to the store for groceries. The owner was available and very responsive. The adjoining unit is a home owner who lives there year-round. They are kind and very understanding of renters coming and going in the adjoining unit. It's great to have garbage pick up 2 days a week. There are 4 porches where you and enjoy all different views based on your preference. Front you can enjoy all the families and kids biking by, especially in the evenings and also the ocean waves. The back the off shore breeze and sailboats and other boats returning from a day out on the water. We had plenty of rental gear but it's nice to know there were a few items (chairs and boogie boards) available for guests downstairs. Our only suggestion is there are so many throw rugs and they slide and cause a trip hazard when corners curl up or they move. I would consider limiting these are getting them secured to the floor in some fashion.

The home was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner made noticeable updates recently. We loved the use of four decks and utilized them daily. The beds were harder than we prefer but this is based on our preference. Still slept well on the king bed. Beach was a three minute walk from the house and easily accessible. Host communicated well. Would stay again. Thank you for a great week at Holden!

My family and I stayed here this past week. The interior of the house is spacious and well decorated. We all enjoyed the options of balconies with 4 to choose from. The owner was very nice and timely with responses. Overall our stay was great.

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. The home had everything we needed. The location was excellent and Eric, the owner was so great to work with. We will definitely consider staying here for our fall beach trip next year!

We came to Holden Beach for a family wedding, and could not have picked a better place to stay. The condo is in a great location, had everything we needed, and the owner (Eric) was really helpful and made check in/check out super smooth. We'd definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the stay beautiful condo was a few things left from last guests. Clothes in dyer cigar butt by grill and grill was dirty but it happens hope to book again next year

Appreciated the quiet location, multiple decks and accessibility of the beach. The space met our needs, the owner was communicative, and the property the stage for a relaxing week.

So got an email from the owner stating things like painting the deck hadn’t been done due to covid. The split on the other side is I believed to be the owner as we were grilling one night with the sketchy grill provided and he walked over to inform us to be careful. Their side is also very pretty both on the outside and their backyard compared to the thing we stayed in. The deck has loose boards on steps and through out that seemed like a hazard. The doors were old even thou my email states they are new and stick and you can barely get them to close. They room with the twin beds in no way could be moved apart which is the only reason I booked th:is house so enough family could fit. The fridge is missing a handle so that was hard to open for the week. Stains all over ceilings, wallpaper falling off. Floors are splitting apart due to not being down correctly and have stains all over them. The decorates are outdated and goodwill finds as they have price tags hanging from items. And the filter probably hasn’t been changed in years for the ac making it very uncomfortable unless you remove it. You pay a cleaning fee but the owner expects you to clean it. We left it the way it was when we got there unclean. The view of the beach is in between two buildings and you have to stand just right to see it and the back is overgrown blah. This is a two bedroom two bed place don’t book it if your hoping to fit people who don’t want to share beds. The closets are filled with junk along with half the drawers in the place, so unpacking doesn’t really happen. They dryer is broken and owner wants you to watch it so it doesn’t run forever even though that shouldn’t be a worry on vacation. I feel down the steps in the house the first night as they are over padded by several inches and no support under those inches so be sure to be careful walk slowly and hold the hand rails thankfully I wasn’t carrying my 2 month old. Overall the only thing this house has going for it is location.

Just returned from Holden Beach on Saturday. Duplex was very plesant and beachy. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean. Very peacful. If you like frogs this is the place for you. Home is decorated with lots of them. Such a nice quiet area. I'm sure we will be back.

This perfect dune duplex will make you forget your worries and put a smile on your face.
