Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem was man so braucht. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und super lecker und auf Bedürfnisse wird eingegangen.
Die Besitzer sind überaus nett und liebevoll mit ihren Gästen!

Die Gastgeber sind äußerst zuvorkommend und auf alle Wünsche und Fragen eingegangen. Selbst unsere eher schüchterne Tochter fand alles richtig toll!

Äußerst nette Vermieter. Sehr um das Wohl der Urlauber bemüht. Viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Sehr schöne saubere Zimmer. Das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und vielseitig. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen.

Die Herzlichkeit des Inhabers. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Alle wünsche wurden erfüllt. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hier her.

Wir wurden in dem Hotel sehr freundlich vom Gastgeber persönlich begrüßt. Anschließend wurde uns der Ablauf unseres Aufenthaltes erklärt (Frühstück, Getränke zum Kauf..). Der Gastgeber hat uns jeden Tag gefragt ob er uns im Ort einen Tisch für unser Abendessen reservieren dürfe. Es wurde immer gefragt ob bei uns alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten Spaß und sehr gemütliche Abende im hoteleigenen Wintergarten. Man hat dort die Auswahl an zahlreichen Getränken zu einem fairen Preis und sogar Heizstrahler. Wenn die nicht ausreichend sind gibt es auch Kuscheldecken.
Allgemein ist einfach eine familiäre Stimmung.
Das Frühstück ist einfach der Hammer. Jeden Tag kann man zwischen verschiedenen Brötchen wählen die jeden Morgen frisch beim Bäcker bestellt werden! Das selbstgemachte Müsli ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Man ist stets bemüht den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.
Auch der Preis entspricht voll unseren Erwartungen.
Es kann vorkommen, dass bei vollem Haus die Parkmöglichkeiten nicht ausreichend sind.

Das Hotel Wappenhof ist ein sehr gemütliches Hotel mit überaus lieben und aufmerksamen Betreibern. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück ist superklasse!!! Toll war auch, dass man sich im Hotel um Reservierungen für das Abendessen in Braunlage gekümmert hat - wirklich ein außergewöhnlich netter Service des Hauses. Auch der Aufenthaltsraum, in dem man sehr gemütlich sitzen kann, hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir würden das Hotel Wappenhof auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, wenn wir nochmal in den Harz kommen.

Besonders gefallen hat mir das Frühstück, bei dem man die Anzahl und Art der Brötchen wählen kann. Das selbst gemachte Joghurtmüsli ist schmeckt super. Außerdem war das Bett bequem und es waren viele verschiedene Kissen vorhanden. Das Bad hatte ein Fenster. Die Unterkunft ist äußerst sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Mir wurde bei der Ankunft sogar der Koffer hochgetragen und ein Tisch in einem Restaurant reserviert. Parkplätze sind gleich am Haus. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig in ca. 10 min zu erreichen, ein kleiner Park liegt vor der Tür.
Hellhöriges Zimmer, aber ich hatte woanders schon lautere. Das Bad war sehr klein, für breiter gebaute Personen sicher schwierig zu benutzen. Die Haustür wird nie abgeschlossen. Kein Problem, wären die Zimmertüren einbruchssicherer. Aber die Ecke ist so ruhig, da wird wohl nie etwas passieren.

Our stay in Hotel Wappenhof was outstanding. The hosts were very friendly, the service was great, the rooms were verycomfortable and clean, and the breakfast was excellent (we hope you get to try the home made muesli and lemoncake!). It's a perfect base to explore the beautiful Harz area. We would definitely come here again and would (and will) very much recommend it to others.

Andreas, the owner, and caretaker of this accommodation was the key point of all the good experiences we had in Braunlage. He is so humble and helpful, that he even allowed us to check in 2 hours before without even asking.
He guided us in planning where to go, what to eat, and what to visit. We had a luxurious and sumptuous breakfast on Sunday morning, it had everything authentic and something special from the Harz. Everything else in the hotel was really clean and so comfortable. It is close to a swimming pool and also a great park with a beautiful lake area. I would really love to stay again at Wappenhof the next time we are in Braunlage.
Everything was great. One good tip would be to reserve places for lunch and dinner before the time. Andreas also helps out with that. The restaurants are generally less and over-booked here in Braunlage during the weekends.

Best location, super friendly staff always in very good mood and willing to help, who even waited awake for a late check-in. Great breakfast and big room with really comfortable beds! Will recommend it 100% and we are looking forward to come back next time we are in Braunlage.

Beautiful hotel with great location for star trips, but the most important is the owner Andreas and his wife, the most generous, kind and lovely person’s that we have met
during our visit to Germany! the warm welcome and hospitality just made us feel like we are at our own home.

The location is great, with a private parking area. It's not far from the main street, and very close to the nature. The host is very nice and friendly, always makes sure that everyone has gotten whatever they wish for. The room is small but tidy and comfortable. Warm blankets and firm mattress are great for a good sleep; clean towels, body wash and hair dryer are also provided in the room. The breakfast is simple but has been prepared with great care: you get to choose which types of bread rolls you want and how you like your eggs to be cooked! Coffee and hot water for tea in thermos are brought to the table directly. The service is just excellent! A booklet with all relevant information to explore the area and a couple of free bus tickets is also provided. We had a great time staying in Hotel Wappenhof; highly recommended!
The sound isolation is not so good. Wifi signal is somehow quite weak during the day, but strong at nights

Hotel Wappenhof was a pure joy to stay at. My friend and I went to stay there for a cycling holiday and owner Andreas couldn't be any more helpful! Very flexible with arriving time, always ready to help with places, guidance and tips, and he always made sure you had a good time. He even reserved a table for us at a local restaurant, when my friend and I had some trouble with the German language. The breakfast was also outstanding, where the staff was making eggs and coffee to order, which was also delicious! In general a very personal hotel, where I definitely will come again, and will recommend to everyone.
The rooms were also very comfortable with nice beds and newly renovated bathroom, which was just incredible.
10/10 for Hotel Wappenhof and Andreas Langen.

I had a really excellent stay. The room is fine, good bed, nice bathroom with a good hot shower - and as it's Germany, everything is working (when you travel the world like I do, that's really not trivial and so nice). The hosts are truly wonderful - welcoming, warm, helpful. The breakfast is indeed excellent, and maybe if you like guacamole as much as I do, ask the host if they can make some one morning - they make a truly outstanding guacamole. What else to say? Quiet street, very close to Braunlage heart of town.
Absolutely nothing, hosts and hotel are amazing. If you are looking for luxury hotel stuff, look elsewhere - but this hotel has exactly everything that *really* counts in a hotel: good bed, wonderful hosts, great brekky, good shower, quiet - period.

Outstanding breakfast with wide variety of cheese, ham and local specialties. The homemade yoghurt/Bircher müsli with fresh fruit was the highlight.

A very friendly English and German speaking owner/host. Very clean, good breakfast (very good scrambled eggs and jam) and a central location in the Harz area.
