Very nice unit, great hosts who have provided for everything you would need from my experience ! Close to everything in aspen and 5 min to gondola, but it is on top of a gradual hill, and has stairs- in case mobility is an issue. 3big tv’s, cable, etc…very cozy and comfy, good beds- everything as advertised!!! Bldg has parking but it is on bottom floor so no views.

Awesome stay. Location is great, walking distance to town and mountain. Owners Janis and Bryan were so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to experience Aspen.

We were really happy with this Condo. Beds were super comfy and they had plenty of nice touches around the house , soft blankets etc. I also found that they stocked it with the basics like salt, pepper, oil, laundry detergent. It is always frustrating when a condo has nothing and you have to buy a giant detergent for the three days your there. They really made sure there were plenty of the “basic” items . Our family was very comfortable here and would definitely stay here again.

Terrific location and easy walk to everything in town! The unit is cozy and super clean! The owners are AMAZING and gave us great recommendations and tons of information on Aspen! Only thing missing is the view - but all else is well worth it! Highly recommend!

Fantastic communication with a very friendly and accommodating host, wonderful location (ski out), RIDICULOUS hot tub and pool :) that is very private and a great place to meet others owning/staying in the condos. Known in town as a great location from everyone I talked to, 5-7 minute walk to basically everything including the supermarket, Fedex, gondola (for when you finish the day, starting is ski out downhill to gondola), bars/restaurants, shops etc etc etc...

Property is in a great location! Short walk to town or lift 14! Wished we would have known the lower level ( the main living spaces) were below grade.

Everything about this property was perfect. Location, cleanliness and friendliness of the owners. It really made our trip one of our favorites.

The condo is exactly as pictured. Great location — 2-minute walk to the heart of Aspen. Everything was clean. LOTS of towels. Great communication from the host. Hope to stay there again!!

We had a great stay, walking distance to everything including the hotel Jerome where the wedding we attended was. We were also able to be the first ones on the slopes every morning considering the location, this usually doesn't happen. It's a stylish apartment with a comfortable feel. I will say the upstairs bedroom could be difficult to access as the spiral staircase is quite narrow, my in-laws were definitely happy to stay in the master bedroom below. I would recommend this be a consideration if anyone on your trip is of a certain age and limited mobility, there may be only one option as to where they will sleep. Overall this was a great stay and one of the best apartments/condos my family has stayed in Aspen. Also, I will say Janis went above and beyond to make sure things were comfortable for us, she was as responsive of a host as I have ever had.

This place was amazing. It was exactly as depicted in the photos: very clean, charming, spacious, and has all that you need for an awesome Aspen stay. Highlt recommend.

The first thing I do when entering a hotel room or VRBO is check for cleanliness, and this condo passed with flying colors. Then I check for amenities and again this condo excelled: multiple kleenex boxes, extra blankets, thick towels, full bar soaps, more cooking staples than typical, double-door refrigerator, quality lighting, and comfortable beds. The location is as described and is terrific: very close to the Aspen (Ajax) gondola and free ski bus, and an easy walk to the City Market grocery store and other downtown locations. If you fly into Aspen, there is no need for a car; a taxi ride is about $25. As described, the main living area is below grade and accessed by an exterior stairway. It snowed several times during our stay and the snow was promptly cleared. The loft (full 2nd bedroom and full bath) is accessed via a spiral stairway, an easy task for children and mobile adults. The owners clearly take pride in their ski home and genuinely want guests to enjoy their stay, plus they are straightforward and professional in their arrangements. I think the best question of a VRBO rental is "how likely is it that you would stay at this location again?" My answer? In a New York second.

Fantastic location, short walk to the gondola and the shops and restaurants in Aspen. Condo has been tastefully upgraded, and is well maintained and very clean. It had plenty of room for our family of four and the boys loved having their own space up the spiral stair case in the second bedroom. The condo is also well stocked and includes nice extra touches like sugar, small jelly containers, tea, coffee, dish soap, cling wrap, foil, clothes soap, etc. The main living area and master bedroom of the condo are below grade, while the second bedroom is at street level. Large windows let in light, but as the owner let me know, the condo does not have a view. The unit is very quiet, with no street noise. The owners were very responsive and extremely easy to work with. We highly recommend this property and enjoyed our stay.

We just spent a wonderful family ski weekend at this fabulous condo. Traveling with young children, we particularly enjoyed having two floors to spread out. Unlike other condos we have rented, we never felt on top of each other and our kiddos loved having their own domain upstairs. We also loved the big open kitchen and dining area. We ran into another family from our hometown in Aspen and ended up having them over for dinner one night. There was plenty of space for the parents to sit around the table and chat downstairs and while the kids had a great time upstairs. The condo facilitated a wonderful evening. The owners were incredibly easy to work with and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

What a great place in a great location. Listing was accurate and photos represent the property to a T. Close to everything and very inviting. Owners kept in touch and were more than generous. I would highly recommend this property!!!!

The description by the owner is right on target. It was beautiful in a perfect location, two blocks from the Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain, ski in to one block away. Two blocks to the Rubey Park bus terminal for shuttles to the other 3 mountains. The unit is primarily below grade, but there are windows that let in natural light. If a view is important, it's not for you. If you like quiet, it's perfect. It was immaculately kept, and better than fully equipped. The owners were a pleasure to work with. It will be a first choice when we return to Aspen. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed here late February/early March 2013 for our annual Aspen ski trip. The owners were very easy to communicate with and were super friendly. The location is very convenient to Ruby Park and the gondola (less than a 5 minute walk). Aspen restaurants and nightlife are all very easy to walk to. The condo was spacious for a family of four, very clean, well appointed and quiet. The second bedroom requires a bit of negotiating up a narrow spiral staircase, which is good for privacy. My kids' requirement of a heated pool and hot tub were satisfied. The common pool is a few steps from the unit and was rarely occupied. The only downsides are the lack of a view (garden level unit) and the walk slightly uphill to the unit after a long day of skiing. But, I'm from Chicago and the altitude even makes climbing a couple flights of stairs challenging. My family and I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend this property.

Stayed at this newly renovated condo, 3/7/13-3/15/13 and our stay was wonderful! Perfect location in town - close to everything. The condo itself was perfect for our family, add an extra and it is a little tight. The upstairs bedroom was a nice size suite, but open to rest of the condo, which works well when you want teenagers up and ready when the lifts open! The condo was equipped with everything you need! Excellent unit. Very clean and very quiet. A two block walk uphill from ski bus pickup center, so a ski person needs to understand it is not far from all things in Aspen, but there will be some uphill walking going to the condo. Would stay again. Very well equipped, with adequate supplies also of the basics for kitchen use. Very friendly and responsive owners.l

We had the most wonderful stay at this terrific condo in Aspen. It is the perfect location, so so close (150m) to the the main town of Aspen, including the supermarket, restaurants, mountain shuttle stops, shops. Our hosts were so very helpful and prompt and we arrived to a spotlessly clean condo with everything we could have ever needed including many small things like, tea/coffee, P&P, cling wrap, foil, soap, etc that make it easy. It was gorgeously warm and comfortable and very reasonably priced. We will definately be recommending this condo and service to friends.

Loved the layout of the unit. The location was superb!

The unit was recently renovated. Baths and Kithcen were upgraded, each done very well. Two comments; it is not apparent from the description that 1) it is a lower unit (below grade) without views to the outside and 2) that the guest bedroom is on the second floor, connected by a spiral stairway that might be difficult to use if you were old or young. Otherwise well worth the money.

We had a great time in Upscale Condo Located at the Base of Aspen Mountain with my son. The landlords are excellent people, they gave us an incredible break on the price and still keep in touch with us. We truly enjoyed the trip at our condo. Our family consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed here and found the condo really nice, spacious, tasteful and convenient. We chose it for the location, we could walk to everything and did not need to rent a car. The house was nicely furnished and updated and the price was very fair. There is a great hot tub and hot pool, that we often had to ourselves. The condo had everything we could have needed and wanted. We had an amazing time in Aspen!! We'll be back next year.

We enjoyed this condo very much, like a home away from home, recently renovated and very tastefully done. I shared with another couple and my daughter who was competing in XGames - it was a perfect fit and so centrally located to hill transportation, shops, and restaurants. We'll be back!
