The location was ideal and the property was extremely clean and met our expectations. I would highly recommend this place and Carla was a great host.

Super clean and near metro and bus stops. For lir stay that metro line was not in service, but the busses were fine. Use MA15 bus between Ottaviano and Termini. Short walk to Vatican museum and St. Peter's.

This was our favorite stay of the entire trip. The location was perfect and the apartment was way more spacious than we had anticipated. Carla was the best host, we would 100% stay here again!

Couldn't have asked for a better location. About one block to the subway and just a little further to the Vatican making it a great landing spot for experiencing all that Rome has to offer. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Carla us feel right at home. Speaking of Carla, enough can't be said on how she not only made the apartment ready of us, but helping us with sites around Rome and even arranging airport transportation for are early fight home. This was our first trip to Italy. When we return, we will not hesitate is renting this apartment again. Furthermore, we will search out accommodations managed by Carla knowing we will receive top notch service and care. She is a star.

What a wonderful place! Location is great. Carla is awesome and was a huge help getting us settled in. The shop downstairs is great for breakfast and/or an afternoon drink (the sandwich’s are pretty good too.) The people are super nice. The restaurant across the street is great for pizza. We truly had a wonderful experience.

The location of this property was perfect. We had 6 of us in total and stayed 3 per room. 2 grandparents (80yr), 2 parents (50yr) one teen (14yr) and one nephew (26). Carla was a super helpful host, answered all our questions. Apartment was clean, and updated. I highly recommend this property. We also used Massimo, the driver for many trips and that worked out perfectly as well.

We stayed at Carla’s apartment near the Vatican and found it to be a nice area of town. It was very convenient to the Ottaviano metro station which was our primary mode of transportation. The space was perfect with good sized bedrooms. The building and neighborhood was great. The air conditioning was strong( not always true in our European travels). The beds were firm which isn’t our preference but seems the norm in Europe. Thanks, Carla, for being so responsive and helpful.

We spent six nights at this wonderful apartment during the first week of October 2022. The accommodations for five adults were perfect. There were two large separate bedrooms, each with queen beds, a twin bed and ensuite bath. Lots of space for hanging clothes. Large common area/kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals. 1st floor (US 2nd floor) apartment is easily accessed. We only used the small elevator to move luggage on the days we arrived and departed. All of this is as described in the VRBO listing. Location was great. Metro station on the next block will get you wherever you want to go in Rome. You can walk out the front door and see the walls of Vatican City. St. Peter's Square is about a 10 minute walk. The apartment is surrounded by dozens of bars, restaurants, small "supermarkets" and just about anything you need during your stay. The hostess, Carla, was extraordinary. She spent over on hour with us the day we arrived. She went over the operation of all appliances in the apartment such as the dishwasher and washer/dryer. She made sure we were connected to Wi-Fi. And, she gave us lots of tips as to the best places to eat, including her favorite gelato stands. Carla sat with us at the kitchen table and marked all of these places on a map for our later use. She even sent us a photo of one the gelatos stands with the address after she left us at the apartment. She also left us her telephone number and made she we could communicate via WhatsApp if we needed her during our stay. She even walked us to the local pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist on our behalf to arrange for pre-cruise Covid testing! Carla also arranged a driver for us. We used this service on four different trips, including to the cruise port at Civitavecchia. The driver(s) were courteous and on-time. Their costs were comparable to other car services we had researched. We've stayed at many vacation properties and Carla is the best hostess ever. On our next visit to Rome, we will definitely stay with her at this property or any of her others. Grazie Carla for helping to make our stay a memorable one!

Had a great stay at Prati Rome. Apartment was as advertised very clean. Great location close to Vatican and easy walk to Rome central. Carla was very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend for couples or families.

This place was a fantastic place for 4 adults! Carla was so helpful with information on places to see, shop and buy groceries and even arranged transportation to the airport. We loved having two bedrooms with the two bathrooms. Location is excellent! We would highly recommend this property!

The layout of this apartment is one of the things that makes it so perfect for two couples or perhaps parents with older children. The two large ensuite bedrooms offer individual privacy but both open out on the common area with couch, chairs, table and well-equipped kitchen. Lots of light. Carla was very welcoming and gave a comprehensive and clear introduction to the apartment, including the easy-to-use washer and dryer. The real crowning joy of this apartment for us was the small bar Palomba directly below us on the street. The guys there were always happy to see us in the morning for coffee or in the evening for drink to end the day.

Fantastic place in a great area near Vatican City. Right near a major metro station for both buses and trains. Carla couldn’t have been more helpful and she is very responsive. Had a great stay and there were a great assortment of pots/pans/ cooking basics in the kitchen.

Carla could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The unit was just as it was listed and then some. The location was exactly where we wanted to be and getting around was easy. Having the cafe just downstairs was great! All the extras she provided was fantastic, laundry detergent, condiments and ice in the freezer. We had a lovely stay in Carla's Tunisi apartment, located literally steps from the Vatican Museum entrance. The apartment was perfect for a family of 5, with 2 air conditioned bedrooms (one with an extra single bed) and 2 full bathrooms. Carla was a lovely host, who arranged our transport from the airport and allowed us to leave our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned for us, as we arrived in the morning. We would highly recommend the Tunisi apartment. Thank you Carla!

We had the most amazing time in Italy, thanks to Carla's VRBO apartment! Unfortunately, THIS is not the apartment we ended up renting from Carla. Due to a last-minute change in our plans, Carla offered us her other apartment, listing #2868046, which I encourage you to view as well, especially if the Vatican is on your must-see list. But VRBO only let's us leave a review for the places in which we stay, so I have to leave my review here. NO DOUBT, this apartment is JUST AS GREAT as the other, so I highly encourage you to rent this! But if it's not available, look at the other listing!! First about Carla: she is very friendly, speaks very good English, and was responsive to all our questions (through the VRBO site), both about the apartment and Rome, as this was our first trip to Italy. Carla is also very thorough and meticulous about the apartment, which was very clean and charming when we arrived. She met us there to show us all we needed to know; and she also provided us a city map and gave us recommendations for restaurants and more. As for the apartment (again, listing #2868046), it was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5, which includes our 2 grown sons and our young daughter. The beds and furniture were also comfortable. And it was terrific having AC, a washing machine, WiFi, and a fully-equipped kitchen (including a kettle for my morning tea). We felt safe in the neighborhood, even at night. We were thrilled with its proximity to the Vatican Museums (you can't get any closer!), a fabulous restaurant across the street, and the pastry shop on the corner for pastries and coffee in the morning, not to mention the Ottaviano Metro stop just a short walk away. It has a fantastic location - it is located between the Ottaviano Metro stop and Vatican City. We found it to be extremely convenient to the Ottaviano station (<2 blocks), and it was only a few blocks farther (in the other direction) to either St. Peter's Square or the entrance to the Vatican Museums. There are multiple restaurants (pizzerias and trattorias) less than one block from the building's front door. There is a bakery one block away for morning baked goods and coffee, and immediately below the flat is a small cafe with various food and beverage options, including sandwiches. Grocery stores are slightly farther, but still an easy walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the subway, taxi stands, the Vatican (both the museum entrance and St Peter's square), and with tons of great places to eat around. The apartment was also in great condition with comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms, great air conditioning (which was a must during the summer in Rome!), and all the amenities we needed. Our host was also very accommodating. She helped setup transportation to and from the airport (although do be aware the drivers accept only cash so you will want to get some Euros before departing the airport), provided us with a map of the city, and gave us some great insights to use on our short trip. The location of the apartment was a great place to start our tourist activities each day. It was certainly more convenient for activities near the northwest part of Rome, close to the Vatican. However, transportation was very simple and we are able to get to the most well-known tourist attractions very easily with multiple transportation options available. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome and if I return I would certainly be interested in renting it again!
