The house is located about a five minute walk from the beautiful Deauville beach at a very small road with literally no traffic. It features a beautiful garden which due to its layout south of the house is protected from stronger windfalls from the sea. The garden furniture is new and very accommodating. The Interieur of the house is older but in overall good condition and with a lot of charme. We loved it. I would definitely recommend the house to others. Hendrik

Das Haus war wunderbar und jedes Zimmer und auch die Badezimmer sehr individuell eingerichtet. Wir waren zu drei Ehepaaren und jeder hatte seinen persönlichen Bereich. Terrasse und Garten sind wunderbar. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man am Strand entlang sehr schnell im Zentrum von Deauville. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We were a family party of three couples, one single adult and two children. The three couples were extremely comfortable as were the two children. The singleton's room on the second floor was a bit more spartan, and she would have liked a rather longer bed (she's a tad under 6 ft tall). The weather was kind to us, and we were mostly outside on the very spacious suntrap terrace and made full use of the barbecue. Watching horse racing over the back garden fence was a bonus. Otherwise we were on the beach, a 10 min walk away down a nearby path. If you want to bathe check the tides, it's a long walk to the sea at low water. Handing over at each end of the stay was efficient and trouble free. Best to approach from the east, as the gate faces slightly that way and from the west it's a back and fill turn; if you have a long car it may not be possible. We had three cars, ample parking space for all. Overall, this property fully lived up to expectation, and we would certainly book again if everyone's diaries permitted.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette location ! La maison et le jardin sont parfaitement conformes aux photos. De plus, les équipements intérieurs et extérieurs (literie, cuisine, salles de bain, salon de jardin...) sont top et permettent vraiment de bien profiter, même en étant nombreux. L'emplacement est également idéal, proche de la plage mais quand même au calme. Enfin, l'accueil d'Arvelle couronne le tout ! Nous avons apprécié d'avoir pu arriver et repartir selon les horaires qui nous arrangeaient ! Nous recommandons !

Une situation parfaite à Bénerville sur mer, à 2 pas de la mer et du prolongement des planches de Deauville, avec un grand jardin se prolongeant sur le plus charmant hippodrome de France, Clairefontaine.Notre séjour fut un enchantement. La maison, sur 3 niveaux est un cocon de charme, très bien entretenue, confortable et décorée avec goût. Un avantage majeur à pouvoir être entre mer et campagne tout en accédant en 5' à Deauville sans en subir la foule. Nous y reviendrons !

My family and I rented this house for three weeks during the busy August season in Deauville. The service and welcome provided by the owner were fantastic. The house is well-equipped with a lovely, large garden which my kids adored. The location is perfect - a short walk to the beach on a quiet street. Best of all the beds are extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

We have rented the house for two weeks and have had a great experience, close to the beach and town has been perfect. We have been nine people including children and the house and garden has been perfect for us well equipped and nothing was missing for our needs.

It's a beautiful house, with a huge garden. In our week of visit the weather was dissapointing, but because of the house we hardly felt this. We spend a lot of time inside, enjoying the huge space, big bedrooms, and overall atmosphere. Also, the service was perfect. We had a little trouble with the washing machine and the same day (in the weekend) somewhere was there to help & fix it. So, would definitely recommend it !!

The house and the garden were really cosy and well-equipped. Everything was as described on the website. Arvelle was very helpful and they gave us a good introduction to the house when we arrived. Thanks a lot for a great stay!

While this appears to be a lovely property- renter beware. We read the reviews and rented this property. We arrived to find the property not in as good condition as described. The maid informed is that the owner had not been to the property in over eight months and therefore does not really know the condition of the property. The property is apparently heavily rented and had house 11 people before our arrival. Although she tried, the maid was unable to adequately clean the house. More importantly, one of our family members who is in great health, began sneezing and having trouble breathing after only a short time in the house. At first, we kidded that she must be allergic to something in the house. As we went upstairs to go to bed we saw mold on the bedroom walls. This was after contacting the owner with other issues with the house. Her response was to minimize the issue to "traces in the shower". This was definitely not the case and we documented with pictures the mold issue with her. If you are concerned about the health issues related to mold exposure, beware. The owner does her best to make it a non issue, but do your research. We left and found other accommodations as we felt the risk of exposure especially with children was too high. We were extremely disappointed in the owners reaction and response.

We had our entire family there for a week, and even though the weather was typical and not very nice out, we were still able to enjoy our stay bc of this lovely house. So many different rooms, all perfectly appointed, and the master is just a gem with a BEAUTIFUL bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. And the location was walking distance to all you would need in Deauville. I will most definitely book this home again (and I am an extremely picky New Yorker!) Cheers,

Our holiday was wonderful, the house has a lovely homely feel well furnished and equipped the garden is a joy, completely safe and lots of space for the little ones, and outdoor eating a pleasure. It is not often you can be enjoying lunch and have racehorses thunder past the end of the garden! If you have the opportunity an afternoon at the races is a must. The supermarket is a 10 minute walk to the right a lovely pastry shop 10 minutes to the left (best croisssoints ever) and the beach less than 10 minutes straight ahead, and Chrystelle is very helpful if there is anything you need. All in all an excellent holiday.
