Perfect location! House is very spacious and very clean. We had a group of 9 and had plenty of room. Had plenty of linen and beach towels. Great beach close by. Will be back!

The barefoot cottage is so beautiful and easy to stay in! The Orchid Bay Marina is a walk away for your boat but the day dock at the property is very convenient too. We loved that each room had its own bathroom. The upstairs is kid friendly and worked out great for our family.

We had an incredible trip!! The property housed 4 adults and 7 children very comfortably. The views were great and the house was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals when dining in. The grocery store is a mile away. The dock is convenient for loading and unloading a boat. It is conveniently only 200 yards from Orchid Bay Marina. Very quiet neighborhood and the kids had fun playing on the tennis court. It is a 10min golf cart ride to Bakers Bay. Mark was a fantastic host- very responsive. We will definitely be back!

The house is perfect. We arrived by boat and the house was even more than we expected. The Orchid Bay Marina crew was so helpful and made our stay the best trip yet.

The home is amazing and everything you could hope for. Well stocked and an amazing view. It was really nice to have 3 bedrooms all with king beds in them. Anytime we had even the most minor question the host was on it immediately. Even better the marina staff also are the property managers so they would do anything we needed. Great stay at an amazing property.

The property and house are stunning. Bathrooms, kitchen living rooms and bedrooms were all A+. Property managers assisted with any questions we had and even did a house cleaning for us Mid-Trip. Easy access to the boat because the house is right next to the marina and the house dock on the sea of Abaco is great for quick offloads of people and or diving gear. I am so thankful to have found this gem and will be back.

Beautiful comfortable house, easy access, clean, great trip

Our group of six had a wonderful time at Barefoot Cottage. The location was perfect and the scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Mark answered all our questions and was quickly to response. The house had all the amenities needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. We definitely recommend renting a Golf Cart from Dive Guana just around the corner to explore the island and their many beaches. Even though this home has a boat dock, the waters are too rough to dock your boat at this location. We ended up renting a boat slip next door at the Marina, which is walking distance. We highly recommend renting at Barefoot Cottage and will be back soon.

The Barefoot Cottage is wonderful! We have rented this house several times and it is always the best for our family vacation. There is plenty of space for our large family, very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We are all looking forward to our next visit to Guana Cay and The Barefoot Cottage!

two families, four adults and six kids. the accommodations were incredible, sunset views amazing, house was impeccable and had more items {household/kitchen/spices/etc} than other vrbos we have been to. property manager sent helpers to the dock when we got off the ferry to help with luggage and take us to the house which was so helpful. mark was super communicative and a wonderful resource, as was tony at dive guana. it was a trip we will never forget and such a wonderfully quaint and quiet island, after days spent visiting the busier sights in the area. five stars all the way!!!!

The house was absolutely amazing and Mark was the best host ever. Answered us immediately and was very accommodating. It’s in a great location with easy access to everything you need!

We stayed with a group of 13 there was room for everybody it was close to the marina we rented golf carts this is our fourth stay at Great Guana we have rented many houses Marks place is outstanding for views location everything was fantastic

We had the best time in Guana Cay. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We used every inch of the house, our whole group of 10 were comfortable. The pool was an extra bonus, clean, refreshing and a beautiful place to relax. The view from the house was spectacular and a wonderful site to look out everyday. The dock we used for fishing and could load and unload the boat easily. The marina was steps away. Mark was so responsive to any call be made and took care of our needs immediately. The marina staff was very helpful as well. I would stay here again in a second. Love love love

It's not too often your VRBO is better in person but this property will exceed your expectations. The house was remodeled and all interior and exterior is like new. The house is in a gated neighborhood, incredible views sitting in the swimming pool in back of the house looking over the water, boat dock within walking distance to the house, with all manangement staff very accomodating and professional. Mark Stacey (owner) very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying in this house.

This was a great house for a group of people. We had 3 families with a total of 12 people. everyone had plenty of room. Pool, ice maker and dock we all great. We would defiantly stay there again.

The pictures of this house don’t even do it justice! It is absolutely gorgeous, quiet neighborhood, pool and the dock the kids had hours of fun jumping off of into clear beautiful water. 3 master bedrooms downstairs with all the cute bunk beds and a queen upstairs. Full house generator was clutch do to the power going out in the Bahamas often, with the generator it just flicks right back on! Mark was so responsive and answered all our questions promptly. You will NOT be disappointed, even with a little storm it was AMAZING. We will be back for sure. Also wanted to plug Dive Guana for their charter boats, renting us our golf cart and snorkeling gear, one stop shop and so friendly. We love Guana Cay and can not wait to come back. Thank you again Mark, we had a lovely time.

The house was in great shape, clean and well supplied. There were 10 of us staying in the house and everyone had plenty of space. The house is within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, bar, beach,etc. There is a nice clay tennis court across the street which we used, so bring your racket if you want. Also, with being in the Bahamas and on vacation there are always questions, comments you have and the owner was very accessible and responsive through the VRBO app to questions. Enjoy your stay.

Very nice home with lots of space for our group of 10 to spread out, and large gathering spaces when we wanted to be together. The property is well maintained, in great condition, and had everything we needed. We had several minor problems during our stay (running toilet that drained the water tanks, no upstairs AC, WiFi not working). I think it was just a fluke that these all popped up during our visit because the owner and property manager are very responsive and quick to correct problems. The ice maker cranked out a ton of ice, which was fantastic! Pool was nice, but it was pretty cold - would have been enjoyed more if we could have used the pool heater. One very cool feature: This home is inside the Orchid Bay gate, allowing renters to enjoy the spectacularly beautiful Orchid Bay Resort area on foot or by golf cart! The place was basically perfect for us. Updating the VRBO listing with all of the amenities and room details would be very helpful to future renters. We almost skipped this one due to the lack of details. I'm glad we didn't!

This house is awesome. The location is great. The house has everything you might need and is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone loved the pool after long days on the boat. The marina is a very short walk. You definitely want to keep your boat at the marina, but we enjoyed being able to load and unload things from the boat using the dock in front of the house. The kids loved the peacock that visited us often. The washer and dryer allowed us to pack light. The beds and sectional sofa were SO comfy!! There were plenty of towels/beach towels. The grocery store and restaurant were a short walk (we spent most of our time on the boat, so we opted not to rent a golf cart and it was fine...even with a 2 year old). The extra ice maker was a nice touch. Power went out a few times and the caretaker had the generator up and running in no time. They happily arranged for us to have a pack n play when we asked about one at the last minute. Stay here! You won't be disappointed!!

Very clean, well appointed, great located property on Guana. Check-in was very easy and we were met at the ferry dock with a pick up truck to help us with our luggage. Wi-Fi, TV and back up generator all worked as advertised.

Our stay at Barefoot Cottage was very pleasant, and the house was perfect for 5 couples for the week. The power went out, as is normal after storms on Great Guana, but Mark was helpful in getting everything sorted and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Mark was an excellent manager and made the whole experience so easy. The house is amazing, beautfully decorated with high end furniture and bedding. Perfect location within walking distance of everything. We would love to rent the Barefoot Cottage again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Great waterfront location, clean, well appointed and excellent communication with the owner and property manager. I stayed here with coworkers and there was plenty of space and bedrooms/bathrooms for full privacy, but nice living room and outdoor space for gathering as well. I would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed over Thanksgiving 2020. We love this island and are so happy to see the recovery efforts progressive, following devasting Hurricane Dorian. Everyone on the island is so excited to see guests return! The home, is lovely, flowers were gorgeous! Heated pool, private dock! Just wonderful!
