We really enjoyed our stay at OIB! The house had everything we needed for our Mother’s Day Weekend. The kids loved the pool and we loved how close we were to the sound to fish and beach to hang out and walk. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the pots and pans we needed to cook meals. Loved all the seating for our family and kids. Rachel was the perfect host. Very quick to respond to any questions we had and get anything we needed. Highly recommend this property and would love to rent again! Thank you!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay at this beautiful home. The accommodations were clean and the layout was great. With 2 adults and 9 teens, a big reason we chose this property was for the two living rooms. It worked out well for our group. It is just a short walk to the beach and the deck views were wonderful. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. When we need a house this size again, we will definitely see if this home is available to rent first.

We had an ah-mazing time at this beautiful home. The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach, and the layout of the home worked wonderfully for our extended family. We loved that there were some pool toys and floats for the kids and we walked for ice cream and to the park one day, which wasn't far at all. The pool was also saltwater which we loved. The last thing I'll add is that Rachel was so helpful, she had the pool guys come out to check the heater and lights come out the next day when I emailed her about them. Our time here was perfect, great memories and we definitely recommend for anyone looking for a laid back vacation in beautiful Ocean Isle.

Our only complaints were that some of the carpeting in the bedrooms were badly stained and the walls banged up from furniture hitting/rubbing. Despite the damage the house seemed very clean. While the property owner did indicate a few weeks ahead of our rental that prior renters were rough on the place these appeared to have been around for awhile. The pool was well kept. A great place to stay for a family.

Just returned from our vacation at this amazing ocean view home. It is beautifully furnished and allowed for a relaxing vacation with my husband, nieces, mom and inlaws. There are many great amenities to boast (well stocked kitchen with dishes/bowls/pans/platters/etc to prepare meals), beautiful views from the various decks, two living room areas, comfortable furniture inside and out, an amazing "widow's walk" roof deck that allows 360 views of the Intercoastal, Pier, Ocean and stars. It's just a short walk (2 blocks) to the beach access that also offers golf cart parking if you choose to rent one. We LOVED the salt water pool and never want to swim in chlorine again. They offer the option to purchase heat for the pool, but the air temperature was warm enough where we didn't need it. It's also situated perfectly in the back yard to soak up the sun, but also there is shade seating under the upper decks/carport. We loved grilling out on their large grill and eating our meals on the upper kitchen deck while enjoying the sea breezes all week. The house also features an outdoor shower, numerous beach chairs, body boards, etc. The owners and their maintenance team are amazing. They are great communicators and resolved some minor issues (smoke detector replacement) promptly. We were sad to go and look forward to another stay!

The place was amazing, and just what we were looking for. It was only a short walk to the beach, but we found it hard to even want to leave the place. The pool and porches were great for lounging and hanging out and the kitchen had every appliance and dish you might need or want. Rachel was responsive and super helpful. 1000% recommend.

Great location and house! If you have tweens or teens then having two living rooms is a huge bonus. Kitchen is a good size and well equipped for your cooking needs. The ice machine downstairs is so nice and helps when packing coolers for the beach. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to next summer’s family beach week!

We had a great time staying here as the Oyster Festival Committee. It was convenient to the Oyster Festival site and with five bedrooms and bathrooms we could all get the needed space and rest while not on festival grounds. Great views of both the intracoastal and the ocean. We planned a lot of meals in and the kitchen had everything promised. We also had a small problem after the storm and the owner sent someone over immediately which was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone. Melinda

We loved staying at this house! Everything was very clean and we had plenty of room and bathrooms for every couple to have their own space. The beach was a short walk and was convenient. We will absolutely be back!

We had an amazing stay, arriving just 2 days after Dorian. The owner was proactive and very quickly resolved the one minor issue we experienced. The house is nicely decorated and furnished. My only suggestion would be to add/replace some of the patio furniture on the decks. We enjoyed the pool everyday and the West End location was perfect for us. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great place to stay and vacation!

This house was great for our family of 10. It had more than enough beds and amenities. The pool was an added bonus and the kitchen was a great size for us to all eat dinner together. The owner was great to work with as well. Very accommodating and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the best time at OIB! The weather was perfect despite a few windy days. The setup of the home was ideal for our young family with lots of bunk beds options. The home is full of ocean views with has many great rooms and decks to gather and enjoy all it has to offer. We spent a lot of time in the pool and had an easy walk to the beautiful beach. The kids love the local park and ice cream shop which are both a quick walk from the house. Each night we would watch the sunset from the crow’s nest. We can’t wait to return next year.
