Could not be a more perfect spot if you’re looking to check out the lake. Great house and easy check in / check out

The location of the property and space for our extended family vacation with babies and grandparents was great. The kitchen and living spaces were plentiful and the waterfront yard across the street was perfect for our little ones to play. I rated this lower on cleanliness and accuracy of online listing because of a couple things. For cleanliness, the counters and surfaces were all clean. The linens were also clean and wrapped for us to put on beds and in baths ourselves which was nice for renting during this COVID era. The floors on the other hand were not clean at check in. I understand it is a lakefront property and dirt is regularly brought in, but after I spilled some water shortly after checking in and wiped the floor, the paper towel was black from dirt. We had little ones playing on the floor and it was a bit concerning all of the dust and dirt they accumulated on their feet and knees. Our kids also pulled a number of items (dirty socks, old bagel) out from under couches during their playtime. The outside spaces were not tidied when we arrived. There were socks outside the back door, an empty pack of cigarettes, and the beach area had remnants of party supplies left behind such as sparklers and cocktail forks. The pictures of the property show it in perfect shape. There was a little more wear and tear than what is shown. We did have a maintenance issue with the toilet and a maintenance man came within 2 hours. I did not appreciate a comment the service man made as he was leaving regarding our toilet problem caused his day to be way behind schedule. None of this ruined our vacation, but it is always nice checking in to a fully cleaned property.

Lovely! This is an outstanding lake. The house was really comfortable for our family of 5.

Good location.

This house is beautiful and we loved the location and area right by the lake. Overall, we had a good stay but we did have some issues. When we walked into the property initially, the house was very clean. However, that evening mice came out of the fireplace. We reported it to the rental company and they were reporting it to the pest company. However, as the week went on, we found mouse droppings throughout the house, so this house just has a mouse problem (as we vacuumed daily). We also had an issue with a leaking toilet that dripped through the ceiling of the living room. We reported it to the rental company right away and they responded quickly and sent someone out to fix the problem. Overall we had a nice stay; the house itself is beautiful and spacious it just needs some upkeep/tending to.

The house was great, lots of space. We really enjoyed how private the back yard area off the deck was. The water access being across the street was fine, however the dock is not really sufficient for a large boat to be tied up to. The property description wasn't super clear about that part. But all in all we would definitely return for another stay here!
