Our office has started a yearly weekend retreat to the Sandbridge area and this house was a perfect fit for our needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficent and the addition of the guest cottage was great. It is a little out dated but it was so close to public beach access that we didn't mind. The pool and hot tub were also great to use.

Close to the beach. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and cabana. First floor kitchen was great and 3 fridges was very convenient. The owner was very attentive and property was clean and well maintained.

Exceeded expectations in every way. The pool and cabana bar were fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked for easy cooking. There were 10 adults and 4 children. We loved the beach and sight seeing but spent lots of time at the house. Hope to return!

We had 16 people from 3 generations ages 1 to 70. A 1 block Easy walk to the beach allowed us to split time between the beach and the pool at the house. The cabana has its own fridge that we used as the beverage fridge. The firmest bed is the queen bed upstairs on the left—a great mattress. Catch the sunrise fro the front balcony. Hot tub was great. Ax excellent place for out extended family.

This was our first full family vacation to Virginia Beach and the house in Sandbridge was everything we hoped it would be! The house was just big enough for 11 of us and 2 adults stayed in the guest cottage. The house had all the equipment necessary and the pool and bar area was very nice, especially having that extra refrigerator. We enjoyed taking turns hanging out at the pool or waking the short distance to the beach. It was truly a very relaxing experience and we will definitely be coming back!! Thank you to Felicia who always responded very quickly with any questions or concerns we had!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house met all our needs. The Pool house is a huge bonus. Location was great. A very quick walk to the beach was perfect.. Great place to stay.

Enjoyed having access to the pool, hot tub, and beach. I would have to say the house was musty because the smell transferred to all our clothes and linens. The furniture looks like thrift store purchases and having glass tables tops around small children is not advisable. All in all not impressed with the environment of the house/home. We are grateful for our time there but would not return.

House was very close to the beach - a short and easy walk to the beach, and not far from food and restaurants. Pool, hot tub and cabana were great! We spent every afternoon there. Plenty of space for all of us and added guest house was nice. Having 3 big refrigerators sure was a plus for all of our food and beverages. Kitchen was plenty big with pantry for most of our food. Some equipment and supplies were old, but we were able to manage. We cooked most every meal in the house. Suggestion - add a pizza cutter and more leftover containers. Owners are very prompt in responding to anything you need. Sandbridge Beach is a beautiful, not crowded beach. I would come back!

Everything was great. We had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at Sandbridge Beach. The area is great- very quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We walked to the market and gift shops several times as well (and of course for ice cream at Ben & Jerry's). The beach was never crowded. A storm came from the gulf on Tuesday, so red flags were posted warning about swimming for the remainder of the week. We still went shell hunting each day and just watched the ocean and dolphins. We went to OBX and took our grandson to Digger's Dungeon on the way to the H2OBX Waterpark. Felicia was great and answered several pre-trip questions. She also let me know when to expect the people for pool cleaning. There were 11 in our group (7 adults and 4 children) and all agreed this was our favorite beach house rental yet- and we have rented many. The house was clean upon our arrival. My youngest daughter and her family stayed in the guest house, which was perfect with my granddaughter just having her first birthday the week before. They have a 3 year old as well and didn't need to worry about steps. I loved the kitchen on the main floor of the house. This makes a huge difference- we had to get everything up to the third floor in past rentals. Speaking of the kitchen, we had everything needed to do a shrimp boil, omelet breakfasts, cook out hamburgers, do a "street taco bar", etc. We loved the beds and everyone slept well. The pool and hot tub were favorites. Our family will be cruising next year but would love to rent this house again in 2023!

Overall very happy! Hosts were responsive on any questions. Location: Was outstanding, its not on a main road which is very nice and helps you relax if you have small kids. Very close to the beach, 3-4 min walk. Close to the beach. Close to main road if you need to go pick up food or go into the town for the store if the market did not have what you needed House: Was very clean and worked for what we needed. We loved that we were able to walk right out to the pool deck without stairs. Pool Deck & Pool: Was awesome, pool was at a good temperature and the hot tub was very nice. The little hut was also nice with the TV and fridge to keep all the drinks cold. Only a few cons. When we arrived none of the beds were made which was annoying. The beds are old and could use either a mattress pad or new beds in general.

I really wanted to like this place but they were just some issues that were hard to overcome. Upon arrival I noticed none of the beds were made and there was a duffel bag that looked like it had just been dropped off from the prison laundry with a bunch of threadbare, no elastic sheets, some with stains. I contacted the landlord about someone coming to make the bed and she said that the guests job. OK, so if you’re going to have to make the beds bring your own linens because these were frightful. The neighborhood was great, the location was great, the pool was nice, the guest house was nice but the main house just needs some updating. The 30 year old carpet and the old, smelly furniture would be expected possibly on a cheaper place but for $1000 a night I just expected more.

Got together here with family and a few friends for our ten year wedding anniversary. EVERYTHING was wonderful and owners were very nice.

We absolutely love Sandbridge and have been coming back every year. Our now teen kids have made so many memories over the years and 2020 wasn't an exception! Our party consisted of 3 families. Teens and kids took over the first floor bedrooms, while adults took second floor and the cottage. The house could easily fit another family. There was so much space for everyone and having 3 refrigerators was great since we didn't dine out at all and cooked all meals. The heated pool was awesome! Some umbrellas around the pool would be nice as it gets pretty hot, but it didn't bother us much.Location couldn't be better - only one block from the beach, quiet but very close to the market for those times when we ran out of essentials or kids wanted to grab some snacks. We got great clams from a little roadside store along Samdbridge Rd. Highly recommend. And the farm along the same road sells the most wonderful tomato cheese and basil pies which alone are worth coming back to the area...Felicia has been terrific throughout the booking process and our stay. She responded very quickly when we had questions and addressed concerns immediately! The house was very clean upon our arrival, all essentials (coffee filters, soap, hand sanitizer, dishwashing liquid, even disposable gloves) have been provided. The kitchen is stocked with every possible pan and pot with a ton of utensils/cutlery/dishes/glassware. We are very grateful to have had such an amazing host. We are definitely looking forward to the next year and hoping we can come back and stay at the same house.

I had issues booking and she was very reassuring and kind. When I saw the 1star review pop up I asked her to elaborate and she was able to ease my mind. Once at the home it was obvious that the review came from an untruthful source. If we were to return to the area I would certainly check the availability of the Beach House again.

This beach house is exactly as advertised. Perfect for a large family. Very close to the beach! Only issue we had was that the sheets were very old and kind of ragged. And we were left with mostly full size sheets for queen size mattresses. We made do with just using the top sheets.

Our week at this property was an absolute delight....a much needed break from this crazy year. We are two sets of family friends from NJ and MD - 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 4 to 8. Some highlights.... - The house is very spacious for 8 people. It’s very clean and comfortable. - The beds were all incredibly comfortable; soft pillows, bouncy mattresses, warm comforters. The air conditioner works reeeeally well, so I was grateful for the warm blankets. - We spent a lot of time in the pool. It is heated by solar panels on the roof...water was around 80 degrees the whole week. It’s 4 feet on the ends and 5 feet in the middle...perfect for kids just learning to swim. The house is stocked with pool toys, although I imagine the supply of pool items can dwindle based on wear and tear. My one caveat is that the lining of the pool is extremely slippery around the outer circle. Not much to do about that, other than be careful. - The hot tub is a great amenity...it comfortably fit all 8 of us. - The beach is about 2 “blocks” away, but we had never been to Sandbridge/VA Beach before, and didn’t realize how quaint the neighborhoods are. The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes. The beach was quiet and lovely....it’s a wide beach with thick sand. Perfect for playing in. - The kitchen is stocked with every gadget and tool you can think of. We cooked most meals and never had an issue finding the right kitchen item. - All the bedrooms we occupied, plus the living room, have tv’s with cable. We brought a stick to plug into the tv in the living room to have extra options. - The dryer takes forever....a small downside. I usually hung dry our towels and bathing suits in the sun. Thanks for such a lovely stay...we hope to come back soon!

Overall, the house accommodated our family of 21. The 3 refrigerators were perfect and the sleeping arrangements for 21 worked out very well. My only suggestions to the owners would be to add a few outside umbrellas for shade around the pool. The heat index was 110 for 3 days while we were there and the pool area gets little to no afternoon shade. We ended up going and buying 2 pop-up canopies otherwise we would not have been able to enjoy the outside. Another downfall of the property was the dining. The inside dining room table only sat 8 and there were 4 seats at the bar. We did utilize the outside seating, but again would not have been able to do this without the canopies for our big family meals. We did get rain one afternoon which challenged us for inside seating, but we made it work. We also like to play card games so only being able to seat half of our family was disappointing. I would also add some additional tableware, storage bins and pot/pans. We had to get very creative when cooking meals. Otherwise the pool was wonderful, location was excellent and we had an absolutely fabulous time.

The house was better than pictured and described. Perfect for a large group with multi generations. Location was close to everything. Owners were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Hope to return.

Exceeded expectations.

House is nice. Bedding is horrible all the beds are uncomfortable. Master bedroom has no master in it since it’s a AIR MATTRESS. Every single person complained about how uncomfortable they slept. I still have back pain from the beds. There’s roaches in the rooms we killed at least 3 in the house I found a huge one in my room. Claims the pool is heated. It’s NOT “ it’s heated by the sun” well yes the sun will heat the water in the pool so that’s a big lie. We all were so excited about this so called heated pool. Once we got there it was a HUGE Disappointment. Was forced to buy insurance for the house then all of a sudden there’s a claim in the insurance I purchased not surprised. Since FeliCa is prbly using that money to fix the house since the paint is falling apart on the whole outside of the house. I get a email that we stained the rug and bed? I find that so funny because we cleaned the rooms before we checked out and inspected the whole house to make sure we didn’t do any damage and to top it off she claims it’s over 600 dollars in damages. She claims we dirtied the bedding and stained rug. I’m currently writing an email to her about this because she’s clearly running a scam with this mandatory insurance. I WILL not be recommending this house to anyone and will warn them about it if they even do bring it up. This whole trip was lies and lies and more lies. Do not stay here unless you want to have severe back pain and a headache after you check out

This place is in good neighborhood! The rental property was clean, large master bedroom and the rest of the rooms are good sizes. The separate mother in law’s house was just perfect for my son’s family with their new Baby. The swimming pool was great . Parking lot was big. We really had good time and great memories in this place. Owners are very nice.

We had a great family reunion here! The beach house was very kid-friendly and we have made a lot of memories here! The beach house is large and great for large groups. The manger was quick to respond to questions and very kind. The beach was very close to the house, which was great for all of us. Thank you! Brooke.
