I did not closely read the description beforehand but the 2nd floor "room" has no door. It's more of a loft. That made getting our toddler to stay in bed a challenge. The stairs are also very steep. All amenities were present as needed and the house was cozy for our family of 4. It was in overall good condition and very clean. The washing machine and dishwasher were incredibly loud. We learned the first night not to run those while we slept. Great upgrades to the community property gave us a great experience!

One of the bed's bedding had not been changed (sand). There was not gas in the grill to make dinner. We only stayed two nights so this was all frustrating. Management was helpful in addressing some of the issues, but I don't think we'll stay there again.

This is a perfect house for a couple or two couples. It’s one of the smaller units in beachwalk and it’s super cute and nice. We stayed her during our wedding and it was perfect for two of us. Would rent again!

The shed provided all we needed for the beach including umbrella, wagon, chairs and bodyboards. The downstairs bathroom could use some shelving and hooks. This was our first VRBO experience, and our cottage was wonderful! It exceeded our expectations, and included all the comforts of home - details even I wouldn’t have thought of! The surrounding area was cute and cozy, and we loved being so close to the beach! Can’t wait to stay there again!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this house with our family. The location being right next to the park was great for our kids to play anytime. The resort is amazing and the beach absolutely beautiful. We did have some issues with the property and had to have maintenance out - broken microwave, no trash bags, showerhead that wasn't working properly, items missing that you don't realize you need until you don't have them - like a lighter for the firepit, scissors in the kitchen, etc. It does seem like this place needs some updating or attention. But the resort management was responsive and helpful. Other than those inconveniences - it was a great trip!

The house was lovely; the windows had great lighting and one side was forest and the other was the park. The little ones really enjoyed being close to the park. We could sit on the patio and watch them play! The beds were comfy and everyone slept great. We loved out stay there and will definitely come again and suggest to others what a fun place stay!

Unit was exactly as I expected it to be. Everything was clean, and well stocked. We found things easily and everything was accessible. The was no ladle, you could use a ladle because soup. Thanks for a lovely weekend. We will be back.

Our kids could walk right out the door and be at the park - which was fantastic after being out all day and tired. We never had to think about something to do to entertain them! The house was clean, cute, and had all the essentials you needed. There's also a little storage house on the patio which was great for keeping our kid toys and fire wood inside. Everything was perfect with the house, and the management company was great to work with. The only thing that could've been better was the mattress in the main bedroom didn't feel so great. I would 100% consider renting here again!

We rented this place in March. There was nothing to do in the surrounding area. All the reviews were In The summer months which I could see be more fun. No pool, no golf cart, no patio table/chairs, or fire pit with chairs. The other reviews are misleading because all the amenities are not available all year long. Also, there is no closet in master and both bathrooms need shower caddies because there is not any place to put things. Also, they only give you 4 bath towels so you have to do laundry right away in order for everyone to bathe! Then, they only leave 4 laundry pods! Also, skimpy on pillows as well. I would not rent this place again.

Overall, the property was nice and staff accommodating. A few things in the property that would enhance the experience. The shower curtain in both showers need replaced. It would be nice to have a place to hang clothes or a luggage rack for suitcases. The area is beautiful and the cottage was clean. The living area and kitchen are smaller then the picture shows. 10 am is an early check-out. The coffee maker needed cleaned, but they brought a new small pot quickly. We had a wonderful time.

The cottage is very cute. The location is like a little "mock Victorian" town. It was not clear that our particular cottage had no parking so we used the parking for the cottage next door. If it was a busy season, we probably wouldn't have been able to do that. I was told upon check-in that parking was only one cottage away. When we actually saw where the parking area was, we were surprised to see that it was quite a distance from our cottage. That was misleading. Also, we found a soiled shower curtain and the cable was not working. We called to relay the information. Upon return to our cottage, maintenance had left our door unlocked. Additionally, we were never informed by phone when the maintenance would occur. That was pretty concerning, as well.

We used this place as a gathering place for family and the wedding party as well as our sleeping space. We cooked breakfast for several people and there was plenty of space to eat. We also relaxed after the wedding and watched football. The ring bearer loved the playground! It was peaceful and a comfort to have a nice place to come back to in between events and the wedding. Easy to get restaurants and the beach.
