Anne’s cottage met all my expectations and needs. Clean, well stocked with all you need and more. Anne was available snd quick to respond to any needs. There was room for my grandchild to visit and stay with me. Indoor outdoor games. Well stocked library as well!! Ideal location for me. A short five minute drive to a grocery store and downtown Rockland About 15 minutes from Camden. The cottages sits on a quiet street across from the water. A comfortable breeze was constantly blowing. I have been visiting my daughter and her family for about 8 years in this area. I have stayed in numerous other place. Anne’s cottage is the best and what I’ve been looking for. Will make this my home away from home!

Start to finish easy affordable as advertised.

We didn’t meet Anne face to face due to covid, but she was responsive through messaging if we had any questions or if she had info to share. Location was ideal for midcoast activities. Quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. Laid out as described, well stocked will all the essentials plus extras in the kitchen, bathroom, and toys, very comfortable.

This is a lovely, restful place to come and recharge. The apartment was clean, organized and well-stocked with convenient items (coffee filters, tissues, kitchen utensils, games). Our thoughtful host Anne had even set out a platter for us to celebrate Thanksgiving! The spacious deck looking out to the cove was inviting and made the apartment feel even bigger. The was also separation between the two bedrooms for more privacy. This apartment is a short drive to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden, with lots to do. We walked the Breakwater, hiked at Owl's Head State Park (magnificent!) and drove up to the top of Mt. Battie in the Camden Hills.

We enjoyed being near "Clam Cove" again, having been at various properties in this immediate area multiple times over the past 39 years. Anne's cottage is not directly on the water, but is a short walk across the road and down a path to the shore. The deck is really nice in the mornings. It was a great place to have our dog. Anne communicated well and even went out and got a croquet set for us to use!

Anne was a wonderful hostess.The upstairs apartment was very clean, quiet and stocked with most anything we might have forgotten. The residence was located very central to multiple areas in a short driving distance. Loved sitting on the deck. all in all a great place to stay.

Anne is right downstairs. The apartment has a great deck and everything we needed in the kitchen. It is across the street from Glen Cove, and close to all the wonderful towns and experiences in mid-coast Maine. We would definitely come back.

The apartment is exactly as described as well as being very spacious and with a wonderful deck for sun-bathing! Anne was very kind and helpful when needed and we enjoyed lovely beans from her garden but she didn't intrude - the perfect hostess! We found it a very relaxing place to stay and nearby Rockland had lovely shops, restaurants and delis (and a large supermarket on the outskirts). Sailing in Maine was a great end to our holiday in the States and this was a perfect place to stay!

In the utility area was a full size washer and dryer so that all the laundry i took back home was clean.With all the windows open at night there was a wonderful, cool, sea breeze that made the evenings truly comfortable. Along side the cottage Anne had vegetables planted that I was welcome to harvest as needed. Since I needed plenty of exercise to work off all the lobster I ate, the neighborhood is a very charming place to walk with many typical Maine homes to look at, some of which were stunning.I heartily recommend Anne's cottage to anyone.

This spacious upstairs cottage exceeded our expectations. It had absolutely everything we needed and was centrally located for all of our outings. The owner was gracious and available to help with all of our needs. Would definitely recommend.

The area is beautiful, and we had our share of lobster rolls that's for sure! Anne's Sea Cottage was the perfect spot for our first adventure to Maine, the place is set back in a nice quiet neighborhood near the water. We were close to town, also which made getting around a breeze. My family and our pup had a great visit, and stay. She has thought of everything...Kids had games, WiFi, Kitchen has plenty of things to cook meals, very nice place. We hope to return again...Thanks Anne!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Anne's Cottage. "Sea View" is a bit deceiving but regardless it is located in a quiet area which was very pleasant for a spring stay The trees were blooming and the smell of lilacs was in the air. It is located across the street from the beach with houses and big beautiful trees blocking the view for the most part. The cottage is very convenient to restaurants and shops.. We found the cottage very clean and supplied with all you may need other than food for meals. The downstairs bedroom was geared towards children and one of the windows had no curtain. Would not think a couple would be comfortable there. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable. Woke up to the beautiful Maine sunshine coming in the windows. The bathroom has a washer and dryer along with a tub/shower. We did have to hang a sheet over the window. LOL It is right beside the toilet and tub and when the lights are on at night it can offer quite a peep show. The neighbors are not close but we did see them out in their yards often. Easy fix and not a problem. I quess if I had a complaint it would be lack of comfortable seating in the living room. There is a nice love seat and only a wooden chair. A pretty chair but not one to relax in. Off the living room is a large deck. We very much enjoyed sitting out there enjoying nature. I would not recommend the cottage for 2 couples to stay but definitely for an affordable family trip to Maine. Since getting home I have suggested it to a few of my friends. There are not a lot of frills like you might expect from a VRBO rental but it is a true taste of Maine and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our 4th year staying at Anne's and as usual we had a wonderful time. It dosen't matter if the weather cooperates or not, this is a wonderful location and a very relaxing time. Anne was especially helpful when a last minute emergency delayed our trip. Our 2 dogs rate it 5 paws. We are hoping to come back next year and have recommended it to our recently retired neighbor.

I planned a vacation for myself and a couple of friends I went to college with (and my dog), and we loved Anne's Sea View Cottage! The house is right across the road from the ocean, so we had plenty of swims, long walks on the coast, and lounging around admiring the view either from the coast or from the deck of the house. The stretch of coast, which generally had few if any other people, had both rocks (perfect for picnics) and sandy stretches. What really set Anne's apart, though, was how much she thought of everything in the house. The kitchen and bathroom were well-supplied with everything you'd need, from laundry soap to disposable razors to a freezer full of fresh Maine blueberries. There was firewood ready for the firepit, and a whole stack of brochures describing area attractions.

Anne's cottage is very clean and comfortable. Anne thought of everything! There are books and games for rainy days and a very well-stocked kitchen for any chefs wishing to rent. We felt at home for our week in her cottage. The location is perfect. It's convenient to Rockland and Camden which are two of our favorite towns. We can't wait to return the next time we plan a trip to Maine.

Great place to get away from all the hustle bustle of life. I spent a few days in October at the cottage with my two daughters and my two 10 year old granddaughters. We all had a wonderful time. Lots to do and see in the local area. We enjoyed the local museums, the walk to Glencove Bay, just across the street from the cottage and the Alpacca shops that were intersting. The fall folage was wonderful. You just can not get enough of Maine.

I stayed at Anne's the week of Oct 22,2011. The cottage was awesome. My small dog and I enjoyed the week - went for long walks and to the ocean. I have been looking for a place to go every year where I feel comfortable and I know I have found it. There were many things nearby such as grocery stores etc so you didn't have to travel far. Anne is a lovely person. See you next year.

This is the first time we have stayed at Anne's Sea View Cottage and it was a wonderful experience. We arrived on a cold rainy evening, which by morning had turned to snow. But the warmth of the hospitality could not have been better. Anne ;made us feel right at home and the accommodations were superb from the bed to the shower to the kitchen to the living/dining room to a multitude of amenities. And the setting on the ocean was magnificent. We saw Maine at its best. The town and the surrounding areas are well worth visiting and I can imagine no better place to stay when enjoying the charm of coastal Maine.

This year was our 3 year at Anne's and as usual we had a great time. Anne is a gracious hostessand the cottage is as described. The cottage fits our plans and lifestyle very well and the surrounding area is rife with activities. We brought our 2 dogs with us and there is lots to do with them, from walking the breakwater lighthouse (just up the street) to walking the boardwalk in Rockland. Camden, just up the road, is very dog friendly in fact the whole state is dog friendly. Another bonus was Dave's seafood (read: Lobster) truck just around the corner from Anne's on Rt.1. Very fresh, very reasonably priced. Can't wait to come back next year.

I have stayed at Ann's numerous times over the past few years. The location is centrally located yet secluded. I have stayed in the late fall and winter, we can see the ocean/bay from the deck. The house is well away from the road so we never have to worry about our boat and personal property. Yet, Wal-mart, Home Depot, grocery store and other stores are within walking distance around the corner on a nice day. We basically show up with our personal cloths, the cottage is fully furnished. We then drive around the corner to the large grocery and purchase our groceries. There are numerous tourist places to visit within a short drive. Transportation museum, Maine Prison carpentry products store, fishing wharfs, villages and various restaurants.
