The property description was spot on and then some. Definitely need a car rental to get around unless you have plenty $$$$ for taxis or are just staying put and using the nearby facilities of Kaibo or Rum Point. The hosts were very helpful answering any questions we had prior to our arrival. Car parking available right outside property. Picture perfect beach right on your doorstep.

You will need a rental car as Gardens of the Kai is in a more remote setting of Grand Cayman. Very easy 45-50 minute drive from the airport with very well marked signage ahead of any turns. Excellent communication from owner, cleaner than most of our homes, incredible location and views, wonderfully maintained beach and grounds, very well furnished kitchen as well as bedroom and lanai. WiFi was fast and easy to connect. Met a few of the owners on site who were happy very friendly and knew all of the 16 units on the property. We will be back asap. Even with the roosters talking, not a problem as they go with the island. The sunsets magnificent, a not to miss spot.

We feel so lucky about choosing this condo. The pictures are exactly what you are getting. We loved sitting on the beach every morning for coffee. This is so peaceful and relaxing. A truly magical experience. We will be back!!! Very clean unit.

Perfect for 2. Right on the beach. Shade from the trees. Enjoyed the screened in porch every night. Very quiet. Had everything we wanted.

The property was lovely, clean & Tidy and was very well cared for, the location was just fabulous and everything we could have wanted in a holiday, for us the peace and quiet was perfect, the beach was lovely, the palm trees completed the picture and the sea was so calm and warm, they even have a swimming pool too which was also very nice as well, when one usually goes on holiday there is normally something that you could have liked to be different but I can say with all honesty there was nothing we would have liked changed, it was perfect. For us living in the uk the flight is a long one and generally the cayman island is a little expensive but if you are looking for a really lovely place to spend some time then this one is really special.

Loved the new updates to the property: The adirondack chairs were wonderful to sit in on the screened in porch; the new shower head with off the chart pressure was a nice surprise; the fresh paint and white kitchen cabinets looked great. Already scheduled for next year.

My favorite thing about this location and place is the lanai! It has the best views anyone can think of. It was so nice to sit outside with the breeze blowing and no bugs! The weather was rather windy when we were there so very limited time in the water at this location. The double kayak and paddle board were great adds. Quiet location and great place to run, and go see the starfish. You literally can just walk to the starfish beach and hang out! This place was exactly what we wanted when we chose the caymans to come visit. Place was clean, so easy to check in in. Even great if you have a hard time walking as the ramp and flat beach access made it perfect place if you have a hard time getting around. Kitchen had enough utensils, cups, cookware etc. We even used the charcoal grill for dinners. The only thing that can make this place better is to maybe label the light switches and fans. Small request and does not affect your fun time there. Oh yeah and a set of tongues for the grill. Thanks for the amazing stay!!

What a quiet, beautiful oasis right on the sand. Beautiful place, beautiful water, and a wonderful walkable neighborhood!

Everything about this stay was perfect! Check in was a breeze, AC worked perfectly (huge deal breaker) the location was amazing and the restaurants nearby were all wonderful! Our second day there, we were already planning our trip back. A quick 20 minute kayak trip away is Starfish Point. We ended up going twice to eat chicken wings and drink mudslides and both times spent the entire day out there. The nearby restaurants, Kaibo Beach Restaurant and Over the Edge Cafe were both excellent and everyone we talked to was super friendly! We can’t wait to go back!!

This property was fantastic, it lived up to all of our expectations. The only advice I would give to future renters is RENT A CAR. In two weeks we never saw a Grand Cayman bus in our part of rum point. Local taxi service also seems to be non-existent

Would have been a great stay if we would of had hot water. Management never returned our voice messages.

You will not find anything better on the entire island than here at Garden Kai!

Everything on the north side is closed in September. This was not communicated to us by the owners. Also, restaurant websites are either not updated or updated in September that they are closed. Most did not update their websites. All grocery stores on the island are closed on Sunday so if you come on a Saturday as we did, you better stop for groceries which we did not. Had to drive 25 minutes to the East side for coffee and food every day. All was not lost, we still had a nice vacation but it would have been nice to be made aware of these things before we arrived.

We had an amazing time on the Grand Caymans. The house was perfect! Had everything we needed and then some.

This was an anniversary surprise for my wife and we were blown away by this amazing property. We had the best time, my wife didn’t want to leave.

Had a great time! Villa was clean with great ac. Ate twice at Kaibo, Tukka east and Cabbose. All great!!

If you’re “Seeking Solitude” this is just the place for you! We were searching for an anniversary getaway with quite the checklist…This property checked all the boxes! We traveled in June (off season) & only came across 2 families (for 15min) our entire 6 day stay. It was our first time traveling outside the US in 3 years (since COVID) so we were quite choosy…your property did not disappoint! We packed lunches, snorkeled for Free at many reefs (Thanks to gear provided by property owners), & topped off the days by grabbing a mudslide and various conch and jerk chicken bites. We kayaked over to Bioluminescence, however, none surfaced that night but it was peaceful and relaxing nonetheless. We rented a car at Budget (Airport) and once learning to navigate the wrong side of the road and COUNTLESS Roundabouts, we felt quite at ease. Things to do, go, & see: Cemetery Beach (followed various fish & rays), Eden Rock ( A Must! Saw countless fish, a baby shark, tarpon, parrot fish, & countless other sea life), & Barefoot Beach (swam with turtles)! We saved money on buying local spirits (Governor’s, Coconut Rum Yummy, & CI beer). Tuesday evenings Kaibo Restaurant directly behind the cottage had great dining. Hostess Eisha and server Melissa, set up a table for 2 on the beach complete with candle & tiki torch. NOTE: You can also save quite a bit of money by stopping & trading your US dollar to CI Currency, as you will be charged 20-30% to do so at various establishments!

This place is a gem located on the quiet side of the island within walking distance to the Kaibo resort. The condo was very clean and well appointed. We will definitely go back.

We were only there for 5 days , but it was very relaxing and peaceful. Everything was as advertised. I would suggest this place in a heartbeat and look forward to going back.

This place is way better than the pictures. Such a peaceful part of the island. We absolutely loved every minute at this property.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay very much. The villa is equipped well. It is located in a very quiet area. Most days we had the beach area to ourselves. The beach area is in a cove with shallow water. Be sure to bring water shoes as the entrance into the water has a lot of sea grass and holes in the sand. When you step on the sand in some areas your feet sink into the holes. However there was no sargassum on shore which was a plus. We enjoyed using the kayak. Be sure to bring a mosquito spray. They are abundant specially at dusk. We used the pool a few times but the water was toooo warm. We were the only people at the pool. We were disappointed that the weber grill was unusable. It was full of ants, and the grate was rusted through. The management company was supposed to bring a new grill. However they did not replace it before our stay was over.

Perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy some quiet beach time. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful area close to starfish point and bio luminescent bay. Great place to kayak or paddle are. We had the best time and can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and overall it was a great experience. Beautiful location with plenty of parking available. However, we were unable to swim in the ocean at the property due to Mangrove Jellyfish. Obviously, this isn’t anyone’s fault but it was a bit frustrating. We ended up going down to Rum Point and utilizing that beach. The screened in porch was perfect for breakfast in the morning. The bedroom was nice with plenty of room for our luggage, and dressers for our clothes. The shades, however, did very little to filter out light and we were woken up every morning to the sun. We both have difficulty sleeping, so it was a bit frustrating not being able to sleep in. Also, not a huge complaint, more of a warning to others, bring bug spray! The mosquitoes at night are crazy. Overall, a good place to stay with just a few minor inconveniences.

First visit and our experience was fabulous! The cottage is beautiful and the area is so peaceful. East side restaurants are great. We will definitely return.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in the at Gardens of the Kay. The villa is great. Kitchen was well equipped, and I cooked all our meals. Air conditions and fans worked well and quiet and were easy to adjust. The king bed was comfortable. Lanai was our favourite place in the villa. Villa is located on a quiet beach with ocean full of star fish. Rum Point beach is five minutes away and snorkeling was excellent at both places. I highly recommend this place.
