Would have been a great stay if we would of had hot water. Management never returned our voice messages.

Everything on the north side is closed in September. This was not communicated to us by the owners. Also, restaurant websites are either not updated or updated in September that they are closed. Most did not update their websites. All grocery stores on the island are closed on Sunday so if you come on a Saturday as we did, you better stop for groceries which we did not. Had to drive 25 minutes to the East side for coffee and food every day. All was not lost, we still had a nice vacation but it would have been nice to be made aware of these things before we arrived.

We had an amazing time on the Grand Caymans. The house was perfect! Had everything we needed and then some.

This was an anniversary surprise for my wife and we were blown away by this amazing property. We had the best time, my wife didn’t want to leave.

Had a great time! Villa was clean with great ac. Ate twice at Kaibo, Tukka east and Cabbose. All great!!

If you’re “Seeking Solitude” this is just the place for you! We were searching for an anniversary getaway with quite the checklist…This property checked all the boxes! We traveled in June (off season) & only came across 2 families (for 15min) our entire 6 day stay. It was our first time traveling outside the US in 3 years (since COVID) so we were quite choosy…your property did not disappoint! We packed lunches, snorkeled for Free at many reefs (Thanks to gear provided by property owners), & topped off the days by grabbing a mudslide and various conch and jerk chicken bites. We kayaked over to Bioluminescence, however, none surfaced that night but it was peaceful and relaxing nonetheless. We rented a car at Budget (Airport) and once learning to navigate the wrong side of the road and COUNTLESS Roundabouts, we felt quite at ease. Things to do, go, & see: Cemetery Beach (followed various fish & rays), Eden Rock ( A Must! Saw countless fish, a baby shark, tarpon, parrot fish, & countless other sea life), & Barefoot Beach (swam with turtles)! We saved money on buying local spirits (Governor’s, Coconut Rum Yummy, & CI beer). Tuesday evenings Kaibo Restaurant directly behind the cottage had great dining. Hostess Eisha and server Melissa, set up a table for 2 on the beach complete with candle & tiki torch. NOTE: You can also save quite a bit of money by stopping & trading your US dollar to CI Currency, as you will be charged 20-30% to do so at various establishments!

This place is a gem located on the quiet side of the island within walking distance to the Kaibo resort. The condo was very clean and well appointed. We will definitely go back.

We were only there for 5 days , but it was very relaxing and peaceful. Everything was as advertised. I would suggest this place in a heartbeat and look forward to going back.

This place is way better than the pictures. Such a peaceful part of the island. We absolutely loved every minute at this property.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay very much. The villa is equipped well. It is located in a very quiet area. Most days we had the beach area to ourselves. The beach area is in a cove with shallow water. Be sure to bring water shoes as the entrance into the water has a lot of sea grass and holes in the sand. When you step on the sand in some areas your feet sink into the holes. However there was no sargassum on shore which was a plus. We enjoyed using the kayak. Be sure to bring a mosquito spray. They are abundant specially at dusk. We used the pool a few times but the water was toooo warm. We were the only people at the pool. We were disappointed that the weber grill was unusable. It was full of ants, and the grate was rusted through. The management company was supposed to bring a new grill. However they did not replace it before our stay was over.

Perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy some quiet beach time. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful area close to starfish point and bio luminescent bay. Great place to kayak or paddle are. We had the best time and can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and overall it was a great experience. Beautiful location with plenty of parking available. However, we were unable to swim in the ocean at the property due to Mangrove Jellyfish. Obviously, this isn’t anyone’s fault but it was a bit frustrating. We ended up going down to Rum Point and utilizing that beach. The screened in porch was perfect for breakfast in the morning. The bedroom was nice with plenty of room for our luggage, and dressers for our clothes. The shades, however, did very little to filter out light and we were woken up every morning to the sun. We both have difficulty sleeping, so it was a bit frustrating not being able to sleep in. Also, not a huge complaint, more of a warning to others, bring bug spray! The mosquitoes at night are crazy. Overall, a good place to stay with just a few minor inconveniences.

First visit and our experience was fabulous! The cottage is beautiful and the area is so peaceful. East side restaurants are great. We will definitely return.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in the at Gardens of the Kay. The villa is great. Kitchen was well equipped, and I cooked all our meals. Air conditions and fans worked well and quiet and were easy to adjust. The king bed was comfortable. Lanai was our favourite place in the villa. Villa is located on a quiet beach with ocean full of star fish. Rum Point beach is five minutes away and snorkeling was excellent at both places. I highly recommend this place.

We loved everything about our stay. Loved the house. It was everything that was advertised and more. The bed was super comfortable, the view was amazing and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the screened in porch! The beach was great for swimming and walking. The neighbors were very friendly and easy to talk to. The snorkeling at Rum Point, Morritts and nearby beaches did not disappoint and a few good restaurants nearby as well. Easy Stingray city tour from Kaibo dock across the street. I already miss my daily walks to Starfish Point, Coffee on the porch and drinks on the beach at sunset.

Everything was better than described! Quiet, peaceful and beauty beyond the imagination.

View from screened in lanai was amazing for morning coffees and evening wine. Very quiet but lovely well maintained property. Used the kayak daily and all the property owners were very friendly and welcoming. Unit had everything we needed including games and variety of books. Explored the island and loved Cemetery beach, Spotts beach and Smith Baracade but we were always happy to arrive home to our quiet spot. Had some good meals at Caboose, Over the edge and Kaibo and enjoyed the Caybrew beers. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Marlene and Don from Alberta, Canada

Fantastic property and area. We traveled the island during our stay, and found this was the best beach, accommodations and area. Mitchell was great. Will recommend to all we know who will come to Grand Caymen and we will definitely return.

We've been to Cayman many times but had never stayed in this area before. The pictures on the listing don't do the property and location justice. Wow! The villa was spotless and well equipped and the views breathtaking. It was a bonus having the paddle board, kayak, fins, snorkel, cooler and beach towels for enjoying our days at the beach. While my mom enjoyed her daily walks on the beach and spotting starfish, I enjoyed getting out on the paddle board and kayak. Most of the days we were there we had the entire beach area to ourselves. This is the place to be if you want to relax, enjoy stunning views and avoid the crowds. While we cooked most of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen, we enjoyed walking across the street to Kaibo for drinks and watching the sunset. We highly recommend this secluded and quite piece of paradise and can't wait to come back. Thank you Mitch and Andrea for sharing your incredible property!

We've been to Cayman many times but first stayed at the Gardens #11 in December 2019 and vowed when we left, we would be back the next year. Never could we have imagined that it would be three cancelled trips and three years before we could fulfill that promise. So, this stay was even sweeter. We used the beach more than ever - just soaking in the views and the peaceful waters. The villa looks fantastic. The new paint in the kitchen and bathroom is fresh and clean and the new showerhead provides the best shower in the Caribbean! We love Kaibo Yacht Club's beach bar-b-q on Tuesday evening and can't wait for Rum Point's return.

The villa was very clean and comfortable. The views and villa are better than the pictures. The VRBO pics were photoshopped for some reason, which I was worried about, but the actual views and villa are way better than they look on the site! Rum point is quiet and relaxing.. completely different vibe from the over run touristy Georgetown area. That said, in 45 min you can be in Georgetown if you’d like. I highly recommend driving the east coast from rum point.. amazing area! Highly recommend this villa

Wow! That was our first thought when we pulled up to Gardens of the Kai #11. This bungalow is set in an absolutely beautiful spot on Grand Cayman. It was exactly as depicted on the VRBO site. Perfect for a couple. We relaxed on the lanai each morning with a stunning view of the ocean. Everything about the unit was great. It is very quiet and peaceful on this part of the island, which we truly enjoyed. Highly recommend this spot.

Beautifully updated since our pre Covid stay. Fabulous views. Had the pool to ourselves. Very quiet. Loved it again!

The hosts truly provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy all the best of the north side of Grand Cayman at their villa! Pictures posted are certainly beautiful but in person the view and beach/water access are simply stunning! Kayak & paddle board were fantastic amenities- able to be on the water easily while no nearby rental options available this week due to off season & renovations. Lanai is perfectly appointed - great for enjoying both early morning and post-sun down. Highly recommend this property to both newcomers or returnees to the Island. It was a fantastic week and just what we needed to get away! Thank you for sharing your villa!

We were 2 happy people when Grand Cayman opened her borders. We were even happier to be returning to our favorite accommodations on the island. It was secluded and quiet and just a slice of heaven. As always, the home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only negative is that the bed was hard. Everything else was perfect as always. Thanks so much, Mitch, for sharing your lovely bungalow with us.
