Kailani Suite- Corner Ocean View 1 Bd/1ba is a great place to spend time in Hana! It has ocean breezes and a fantastic view. Hawaiian decor throughout makes it all the more charming. We wished we planned for more days here. Great location to do explore the beaches and parks around Hana.

We stayed here just short of a week and just wow. We’ve been to and stayed at many beaches and nothing beat the view from this condo! The black sand beach is basically untouched and is secluded, it’s stunning. The sound the ocean on the rocks is indescribable and the perfect lullaby every night.
The sunrise is beautiful, it’s like watching a painting every morning from your patio. Which is made better by the Maui roaster coffee that is provided. We’re from AZ and worried about no AC but the crosswind breezes are more than enough to keep the place cool and comfortable! It was clean and cute and felt very homey. Loved the kitchen and that it was well stocked with everything needed to cook.
The town of Hana isn’t much, but it’s more than enough for a long stay if you’re looking to get away from it all. Hana is small with only one resort but the amenities are easily accessible for the public (the Hana Ranch Restaurant is delicious). Most of the restaurants are food trucks, but don’t be scared, the food is the best! Almost all the trucks and roadside stands are farm to table and you can taste it in the freshness of the food.
We loved our time in Hawaii thanks to Hana and this cute little condo! Many thanks and mahalo!

We really enjoyed this suite! Such a quiet and quaint location. We loved being able to walk on the black rock beach. The good size lanai was so comfortable for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The opening from the kitchen to the lanai was so charming. The suite was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Great location for exploring get the attraction at the end of the Road to Hana as well as a nice neighborhood to explore. The food truck meals were excellent. We enjoyed everything about our stay in Hana!

We are frequent visitors to Hana, and always try to stay at the Hana Kai. The location is hard to match! We had never stayed at this particular unit, and are very happy that it was available this time. Impeccably maintained, the owners have gone to great lengths to make sure that their guests feel at home, thinking of even the minutest details.

After 50 years of traveling to Hawaii, I finally stayed in Hana. In just three days, it's become our favorite discovery. Our condo was perfect with a stunning location, thoughtfully appointed, and a very comfortable bed. We spent time daily at Hamoa Beach, as lovely as they say! Hiked the O'heo trail, enjoyed hours of music and hula at the Hana Farmer's Market, ate at food trucks and treated ourselves to a delicious dinner at the Hana Maui Restaurant. We will return!

This unit was very comfortable, clean, quiet and had a beautiful view of the water. We loved our stay here and we’re glad we gave ourselves 3 days in order to enjoy the hikes and beaches near by.

We loved our stay in the Kailani Suite at Hana Kai! The condo is perfectly located for fabulous views of the ocean. We loved starting our day with coffee on the lanai and ending it with drinks after a day of exploring. We will definitely book the Kailani Suite the next time we are in Hana!

Far from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the island, we had a beautiful four nights in Hana at Tom’s place. We could’ve stayed longer! Hope you take the time to slow down in Hana.

Loved this comfortable condo in Hana Bay. Located right in Hana with a view of the bay this rental was a welcome destination at the end of the long and winding road to Hana. No AC but with the ocean breezes you don’t miss it. This place has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Hana.

The unit was much larger than expected and had a very old Hawaii feel which we loved. Could not ask for a better location. The sound of the waves definitely put us to sleep every night and the bed was by far one of the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Super happy we chose this property for our stay, very comfortable, clean and perfect amount of communication with the hosts. Highly recommend

My husband and I booked this condo for a few days after our wedding. The check in was easy. The view was beautiful. The condo was clean and stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner every day. It was perfect. We loved all of the recommendations and especially loved the beach chairs and umbrella for a relaxing day on Hamoa beach after a surf lesson by Keli. Thank you for having us. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

We thank the owners for their insightful provisions—the usual plus extras, like an installed water filter system for the sink & ice maker, vegetable oil, salt and pepper, wine opener, sunscreen lotion, shaving gel, board games, playing cards, novels, and other stuff a traveler usually brings along— that made this condo a comfortable place of exceeding convenience. We loved that it was spacious and clean and steps away from the coastline. This place offers so much more than we’re able to include in this review; in short, we would love to stay here again when we come to Hana.

Great location with beautiful views from second story. Property provides access to black sand beach which was great to take morning and evening walks on the beach. Big parking lot, grill on premises, stocked with coffee and snacks/treats. Close to state park, red sand beach, and Venus pool.

We had a great time in Hana. The condo kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with useful items you don’t normally see in vacation rentals. The breeze on the larger deck was sweet scented and made watching the waves very pleasant indeed.

The view overlooking the beach, and Hana Bay was beautiful. Everything was as advertised and very clean and organized. We used the beach chairs and beach towels as we explored the island. The short walk down to the black sand/stone beach was really cool as you go by the fish pond. We would stay here again if we are fortunate enough to make it back to Hana

This property met all our needs. It was perfect for accessing the end of the Hana trail before all the crowds. The view of the beach from the balcony was wonderful. The kitchen was well appointed with all we needed to cook meals. The condo is nicely decorated in Hawaiian decor and had plenty of towels and other items for enjoying the beach. The owners were very communicative and kind. Grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely condo for a couple days in Hana. The location is perfect. I was able to jog/walk to Hana Bay park and to the red sand beach from the condo. Only a couple mins drive to the Hana Ranch restaurant and not far from Waianapanapa State park (Black sand Beach). We absolutely loved the back deck and the view. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the view of the bay and watching the skies change and listening to the waves. Kitchen was fully equipped with all the standard dishes and pots/pans/utensils . A few spices in the cabinet was a nice addition, as well as the sweet snacks left upon arrival. Bed was comfy and overall just a very quiet, relaxing place to stay. No AC, but with windows open, it was very comfortable.

If planning to stay in Hana, this is the perfect spot. The unit has everything you need, fully functional kitchen (a must in Hana since there are few options for dining), great space, and views! Check in/out process was easy. Great hosts!

Spent two nights in this well-supplied unit. The large lanai was usable even given one day of near constant rain. The interior was very comfortable and the location was central to everything in Hana and the outlying areas. Would definitely stay here again if returning to this part of Maui.

This property is a great spot for extending a visit to Hana and all the surrounding attractions. We very much appreciated the wonderful communication with the host both when we booked and several days in advance of our arrival. There were signs of other people in nearby properties, but everything calmed down each evening shortly after dinner, leaving us with the sounds of the ocean waves, the breeze, and on two of our three nights, the glorious sounds of rainfall. On those evenings, we opened every window and basked in perfect temps. The night where there were neither winds nor rain, we relied on the two big tower fans to keep air moving. The unit itself is very clean and well-appointed. We appreciated the beach towels and other goodies for making our Hamoa and Koki beach visits even better. We did break down and avail ourselves of the television (and Netflix) on the stormiest of nights, and that was a nice addition, too, even if we were there to get away. And finally, others have mentioned it, but the lanai *really* is spectacular. It sets the perfect tone. Thank you, Tom and Vicki! We'd love to return one day :-).

This unit has a great view, nice corner unit with big balcony. Stocked with snacks and coffee was a nice touch. Great location. Quiet. Clean. Keyless entry. No A/C but with all the fans blasting and the windows open we slept fine, and I’m a hot sleeper.

Property is amazing! The view is fantastic in this corner unit. The winds kept everything cool and comfortable, we spent most of our time on the deck.! The comfortable bed and bedding provided an excellent night sleep. The hosts thought of everything, all the details made the stay amazing. We would love to stay again sometime.

This is a good sized place to stay, with a well equipped kitchen and a large lanai. There were only two of us and we had plenty of room. The lanai is nice, looking out over the ocean. Like all mainlanders, I lament the lack of AC in Hana, but it is what it is. Even the fancy resort doesn't have AC.
We would stay again.

A gem of a place
We were blown away by so many aspects of this unit. I think the highlight is the spacious lanai, with an absolutely gorgeous ocean view, and tables and seating to eat and relax. There were 3 people in our group - 1 person slept on the futon, and it was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, with filtered water easily available from the tap. We loved the beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers that greeted us. Dreaming of staying here again!!
