The house was spacious enough for us by far, and laid out well, with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. The garage had tall thresholds so we could pull our suv in even with the roof box on, which was nice. Sheri at Vacay was super responsive and helpful. The only issue worth noting, and I believe it's noted in the property description, is that a two-wheel drive car wouldn't be able to make it up the driveway when there's snow or ice on the ground. But then you likely wouldn't be driving a 2wd in those conditions anyway, so probably not a big deal. Overall we had a great stay. I'd rent again.

Welcoming, stylish, spacious, comfortable, private … are only a few things to describe this wonderful home. Very well stocked. Plush living room sofas to relax. Four real bedrooms - 2 car garage with table tennis. Landscaped back hill. Easy shuttle drives to the village. The only item the toddlers missed was a bathtub. A soaking tub was the only one available. But they survived! Would rent this property property again - summer or winter.

I was nervous it would be too small from the pictures but was pleasantly surprised to see how large, spacious and cozy this home was (we very comfortably fit 8 people) The free shuttle to Northstar made getting to and from the Mountain a stress free breeze and we spent almost all of our free time at the house because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend booking for your next vacation, we absolutely will be back and appreciated how easy it was to work with the management company.

this property is just as nice as depicted in the photos! Sherri at VACAY (management company) was very helpful with my multitude of questions. The location to Northstar ski resort can't be beat and the guest pass for the recreation center is a great perk.

I was so impressed by this property, it far surpassed the pictures and anything we could have imagined!! The neighbor is so to Northstar skiing, grocery and north shore. Would love to book again!

Overall we had a nice stay there. Nice little home. Great location. Note: no hot tub. Our only issue was that we had to haul out our own garbage at the end of the stay and take it to dumpsters a couple miles away. And you had to bring the pass for the dumpsters back to the house so you couldn't even do it on the way out. Meanwhile we were charged a large cleaning fee!

Fantastic property for a multigeneration family getaway. Everyone wanted to stay longer.

Our family of eight- kids to grandparents stayed a week and we had a wonderful time. Very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked or Bbq’d every night and kitchen had what we needed. The home is lovely- decorated nicely for an upscale mountain retreat. No a/c and it was 90 plus degrees for first few days but the house does literally sit in the trees and we opened windows in the morning and evenings and house cooled down just fine. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, all expectations met. Wonderful place for our family to spend time together.

This is a family friendly and spacious property with easy access to hiking trails, Northstar, and the golf course. We enjoyed the neighborhood, the cul-de-sac location, and the layout of the home was perfect for our family of 5. The home is well appointed and the property manager brought the items we needed quickly upon arrival. We brought our non-shedding family dog and did find some dog hair on the rugs from other pets, but we were fine with that as we are a dog family ourselves.

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. The 4 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has pretty much every appliance you could need. Just up the hill from the property you can get to the trail system that runs for miles around the Northstar property--perfect for morning hikes with dogs. The management was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The one thing that would have completed it would be a table for dining outside We will come back--thanks!

Wonderful property!

This house was exactly as advertised, comfortable and spacious. The finishes are nice and the house is well maintained. The layout was perfect for our two families traveling with kids. The Northstar shuttle picks up right in front of the house. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again and it seemed like it would be an equally great location in summer time!

Great property

My family and friends and I stayed at this location over the long weekend (9 adults in total). We were very happy with our stay! Pros: We were really impressed by the place. The place was bigger than expected and the listing photos actually made the place look smaller than it actually is. The overall feel and design of the house was very homey and inviting. The cleanliness was top notch. Shoes had to be left by the garage so we were walking barefoot and we were surprised that our feet didn't turn black from any trance of dust. Rooms were evenly spaced out in the spacious house. Kitchen is well stocked with various cooking utensils, appliances and pots/pans. The double oven was pretty cool. Garage can fit two cars + driveway can fit additional cars Property manager was extremely friendly and helpful on the phone. Cons: It was a hot weekend but even though we turned up the temperature in the house, it was always hot in the main floor. Only the basement level ever became cold. The temperature controller was also hard to find and hidden down in the basement. The doors were really hard to deal with and the locks should be replaced. We spent a good deal struggling with locking the doors. CLEANING FEE is not worth it and overpriced. Even though the reservation comes with a cleaning fee ($295!!!!), there were many rules about cleaning up the house such as: - Throwing the trash in a remote location we had to drive to (and could only enter if we had a specific pass we had to return in the house) - Throwing in the dishes we used in the dishwasher. Honestly, cleaning up after ourselves is totally fine and understandable. However, if we are being charged a large amount for cleaning, throwing the trash should be taken care of by the cleaners. Listing didn't mention anything about having extra charges. The property manager called me that $39 had to be added for damage insurance purposes. She called to confirm with me before charging it on my card. This was not a big deal for us, but I think that info should have been on the listing so future renters know that info beforehand. Some kitchen items are a little worn out such as the knives and can openers. There were two can openers-- one broken and the other hard to use. Some items probably needs replacing.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the house overall is very beautiful, the property is backed up to a hillside area that has lots of pine trees and a trail heading up the hill intersects the backside area. The beds were a little stiff and the plates and bowls may need replacing soon. Taking the garbage out to a central location away from the property by car was a bit of a hassle to considering the rental cost. Overall though we liked staying there very much.

My family and I had a great time, we only spend 2 nights and it was our first time coming to the lake, but for sure we Will be veré again

The property is excellent. 4 bedrooms and bathrooms to easily accommodate a large group. The kitchen is well stocked and the chromecast TV was great. The ping pong table in the garage was a nice surprise and well used during our visit. Thank you for sharing your great home with us!
