The property was great! Our children and grandchildren joined us at different times and the condo was perfect for all of us. We walked to Whalers Village and Kaanapali Beach, which was a short ten minutes. Wonderful ocean view without all the people and noise of being on the beach! Rick was always available and helped with any questions or things we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this unit! It is roomy and well stocked! Beds were comfortable! Enjoyed being on the lanai, which has a lovely view. Rick was very helpful and great to deal with. Would stay at this lovely unit again for sure!

Communication with Rick and checking in was so easy! The condo is spacious and was a great size for all 7 of us. The view from the lanai was great. The condo area as a whole was very quiet. The pool and hot tub area were hardly ever busy so our teens spent a lot of time there. The condo was amply stocked with boogie boards, pool noodles, and even a couple sets of scuba gear which was so great to not have to rent! The kitchen was nice and stocked of pots/pans, and pantry items. There is a great closet of books and board games, as well! The walk to Whalers and the Fairway Shops was easy and super convenient. All in all, our stay here was great and we will definitely stay again when we go back to Maui!

This condo was in kanapali close to shops and the beach. You can walk to the beach from here but not with all your beach gear. The condo had a fully equipped kitchen and was very clean. The only tricky thing was the door lock. Otherwise highly recommend this place

This property was a BIG WIN!! The pictures online do not do the view justice! It was simply breathtaking. My heart skipped a beat every single time I looked out past the spacious, covered lanai to the Ka’anapali beach skyline and the sparkling ocean view. The on-site pool is right below the lanai and only steps away. It is surrounded by lush palm trees, plumeria trees, exotic flowers and even a tangelo tree! The pool was the perfect temp. There is covered tables, lounge chairs with shade or sun options and a nice hot tub to relax and soak away the days activities. There are very clean changing/restrooms right there at the pool for convenience. The condo has many floaties and pool accessories stored in the outdoor closet on the lanai. There is also a wide option of beach gear for use including beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, floaties and lots of sand toys. The condo itself is large and spacious and decorated in a peaceful Hawaiian theme. The lanai has glass doors that open all the way up so you feel like your living outside, and has seating for 8, plus a bar-b-que which is nice as that is hard to find these days. The kitchen is updated, spacious and well stocked. Having 2 master bedrooms worked great for our party of 4, but you could easily sleep 7/8 comfortably. The bathrooms are also updated and sparkling clean. The air conditioner worked great once we figured out how to work it properly. So nice to step into a cool reprieve from the hot sun after being out and about all day!! Sleeping here was a dream. The beds were so comfortable and the A/C with ceiling fans above the beds made it perfect. The only items we rented while staying here were snorkel gear, and a larger hard surface cooler. The unit is in a very quiet and peaceful setting on a beautiful luscious green golf course with stellar ocean views beyond. Truly just zen. The other families staying in the complex were very nice and abided by the 10:00 quiet time rules well. There were no noise issues what so ever. We had the best sleep we have had in a long time. The location was also fabulous! Walking distance to Whalers Village with great shopping, resturaunts and beach access. Parking there can be validated by buying even just a cup of coffee, which makes the parking free. Tip: We valet parked at the Sheraton every morning and had easy access to snorkel Black rock. Only $5 if you a coffee at the on-site Starbucks ☺️. Best Vacation in years🌺🌺?

We had a great time while staying here. Loved that we could walk to Whalers Village and the beach. Pool was nice and not crowded so easy to get a chair. Large lanai to relax on. AC kept the entire condo cool when needed. Definitely would stay again!

The view was spectacular and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Communication was perfect throughout the whole experience.

The condo was very spacious for my family of 5 and my sister in law. The downstairs suite allowed my sister in law to have her own space with her own bathroom. She did say that even though the lanai was enclosed that lots of traffic noise still came through. The master suite upstairs was great was my family. My two boys who are 10 and 8 years old slept on the foldout futon sofa while my 5 year old daughter, my husband and I slept on the king bed. There was lots of space for us. The lanai that overlooks the golf course, the pool and the beach was beautiful and it was great to have meals out there. There were lots of amenities but I wish that the rice cooker was a little newer and that new sponges and more paper towels were provided. The furnishings were a little outdated but the renovations in the bathrooms and kitchen were very nice. Though the A/C was preprogrammed to cool while all the doors and windows are closed, we often came back to a warm condo especially the upstairs master bedroom. While we were there and we opened up the lanai, a very nice cool breeze came through and it was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this condo! Thank you to Rick for his thorough and detailed instructions as well as staying in contact from booking until we got to Maui, much appreciated!

We have been to Maui many times but this was our first Vrbo and it could not have gone more smoothly from check in to check out. Rick was extremely helpful and engaged during the entire stay with all the information and support for a totally seamless experience . The condo was spacious and beautiful and within walking distance to the beach and Whaler’s Village. We look forward to coming back again.

My husband, who was in serious need of some R & R, and I stayed at the Becks' beautiful Ka'anapali Royal condo in December 2021. This was our third stay in the Becks' condo, and we can attest that they are attentive hosts. They gave us detailed check-in instructions and lists of the best places to shop, tips for activities, and their favorite restaurants. They also kept in touch to make certain everything was ok. This stay was our first since their extensive remodeling of the two bathrooms and kitchen--also the A/C, which worked flawlessly. They've beautifully renovated and redecorated the condo and added touches that make it feel like home. It's very roomy for two adults, and it's set up with outdoor/beach items for kids. As we know from previous visits, this condo can easily accommodate a family without seeming crowded. Whether we chose an activity for the day, just enjoyed the view (directly to the island of Lanai, with Molokai to the right from the lanai), walked 10 minutes down to the beach and the Whalers' Village shops, walked five minutes over to the Fairway Shops for a morning coffee or tea, or relaxed by the pool or in the spa, we thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay. Ka'anapali is centrally enough located that we don't hesitate to drive down to Lahaina (which has retained much of its historical character), over to Kahului, Paia, and Makawao, or down the coast to Wailea. On previous visits, we've enjoyed the drive down the east coast to Hana and up to the summit of Haleakala. We also find it very easy to rent equipment locally and sign up for group activities. Next time, we'll probably rent electric bicycles from the shop in the building next door to Ka'anapali Royal and go exploring.

Rick's property was absolutely perfect for a family of four with young kids. Strollers, beach toys/chairs, crib, etc. were all available. Walk to Whaler's/Kaanapali Beach was doable for a 3 and 5 year old. Area is well located with a short drive to either Lahaina or Kapalua. 100% recommended.

We highly recommend this condo. It’s spacious, clean, and has a beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. Rick was an awesome host before and during our trip! Mahalo!

We went to Maui with two family groups. We were lucky to get two condos at Kaanapali Royal. From the initial reservations to the end of the stay, everything was amazing and actually far better than the experience with our second condo. From Day 1, Rick was super communicative and helpful in all things Maui! The unit itself was comfortable, clean, and convenient. The added amenities were icing on the cake. There are small things you need that you don't know about until you don't have them: boogie boards, pool floats, chairs, Twister!, a cheese grater. I can't think of anything to improve on our experience with Rick. If/when we come back, it will be there.

We had a lovely stay at Rick’s condo. It is in a great location and we were able to walk to whaler’s village and the beaches pretty easily. The condo was spacious and accommodated all of us well. The snorkel gear, beach chairs, tubes and other gear were an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I and our three children (13 to 18) stayed here. Convenient to beach, Whalers Village, great views, close to pool. Nice, clean place. Everything you want!!

As a first time in Hawaii, I was exhausted and wasn't sure about the places. Fortunately, the place was great and pleasant to our family.

This was our first time visiting Maui. We loved staying in the condo and having access to a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The condo is located in a quiet, gated unit on beautiful grounds with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and sand toys all available too. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. We drove most days and used a combination and paid and free parking. Lots of restaurants nearby and about a 10-minute drive to Lahaina with shops and lots more restaurants. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone.

The listing of the property is accurate and transparent. From the beginning, Rick communicated with me openly and completely. I received our check-in documents, including rules and procedures, a thoughtful list of must-sees and to-dos during our trip, and a map of Kaanapali. Rick even texted me the evening of our arrival to make sure that everything went smoothly for us. Our group was very happy with the location of the condo in relation to beaches, restaurants, grocery store, downtown Front St., and the other areas that we visited. It is a gated parking lot, which we loved. We felt that we and our property were safe. We were super pleased with the fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, paper towels, spices, cooking oils, etc.), as we prepared a lot of our meals at the condo. The condo already had plenty of beach towels, snorkels, and boogie boards, which we used during our entire stay. Having laundry on-site was super helpful. You did have to go up two small flights of stairs to get to the condo, but a perk of the condo location was that it is right by the rubbish and recycling area. So disposing our trash during the stay was very convenient. The only disappointing part of the stay was that the hot tub in the common area was out of service the entire time (possibly due to COVID), but that was no fault of Rick. We spent most of our time on the beaches anyway. But the pool was enough for us when we did venture down to the common area. We golfed both of the Kaanapali Royal courses (Royal and Kai) and received a discount for both since we were staying on-site. We also played tennis during one of the rainy days of our trip. Rick provided tennis balls and we paid $5 to rent some rackets from the front office. If we ever decide to vacation in Maui again, we will definitely consider staying at Rick's Kaanapali Royal condo.

This was definitely a different vacation than my family had planned, but we still enjoyed our time at Kaanapali Royal. This condo is a great layout and well equipped...the large lanai and sunset views were fantastic. We were there at the beginning of the pandemic shutdowns and things were changing daily. Rick was great to check on us and ensure we were ok. We ended up cutting our stay short due to changing flight schedules, but definitely hope to come back to Maui and would love to stay here again.

The unit was as listed. We had everything we needed and communication with the owner before and during our stay was excellent. Would recommend this unit to others.

Good walking distance to Whalers village for restaurants and shopping . We drove to several different lovely beaches Enjoyed sitting out on the lanai for sunset and happy hour. The bathrooms had been updated which was nice and beds were comfy. Altogether a good place to stay other than the condo being a bit dated .

We enjoyed our stay at the Kaanapali Royal. The condo is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the views and the quiet property. It is close to everything: beaches, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!!

This is an amazing place to stay! It was our first VRBO experience, Rick the property owner could not have made it easier or any more worry free, from the moment we booked it until the minute we checked out it was a fantastic experience. To start with they have everything you will need from kitchen appliances, to beach chairs, boogie boards, plenty of linens and dishes, all we need to purchase was the food to cook and drinks. We took our daughter and her boyfriend for her birthday the set up and size was perfect. We were able to get a few breakfast items and coffee and we were good to go for the week. It is a 15 min walk to the beach and Whalers Village if you prefer not to walk their is a free trolly that will take you back and forth it picks you up at the fairway stores located at the end of the street the condo is on, a 5 min walk and it runs every 30 minutes from 10am to 10pm everyday it will drop you at Whalers Village where all of the stores and restaurants and beach access are. The views from the condo are amazing as it is not beach front you still have wonderful ocean views. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the sunsets, not to mention it is a perfect place to enjoy the mornings and a cup of coffee. We will definitely rent from Rick and this unit again it was a fantastic experience at an amazing location. It this is your first VRBO experience I encourage you to go for it as we did, you can be assured you are getting exactly what is being advertised and then some.

This apartment hit all our requirements - it was clean and comfortable (the bathrooms are especially nice), extra sheets and towels, etc. The location was also perfect for us - it’s located on a golf resort but is only a brief drive to Kaanapali beach and Whaler’s Village, and a short drive to Lahaina town. The owner was quick to respond to questions and requests. We hope to stay here again!
