Our two grandsons ages 10 and 8 were so excited about our accommodations. We visited the aquarium in Newport and did local hikes but they couldn't wait to return to our Castaway Cove each day. The boats and crabtraps were a favorite. Thank you for the memorable trip.

The property was as advertised. The hosts were in good communication to make sure we got there safe and wouldn't have issues finding the place. Our kids thought it was the coolest! Beds were super comfy. We had everything we needed and the hosts took the time to make sure we were all set; even though we didn't want for anything else. They also gave recommendations that we were happy we took them up on. Thanks for making our stay pleasant!

This place is absolutely magical!! The love and attention to detail that Kelly and Ellie have put into this space is phenomenal. There were fresh baked cookies on the table for us when we arrived!! 😍 Literally the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on, and the canopy captain’s bed was absolutely dreamy! The kids loved their bunks, with individual lights, charging stations and even little fans! Many great board games and DVD’s available. I was worried about cooking in the limited kitchen since my husband has food allergies and we can’t eat out, but the hot plates and toaster oven were more than sufficient! And there were other cooking appliances we didn’t take advantage of. All the little helpful instructions posted about the rental are even in pirate’s jargon! And the hosts were available at a moment’s notice when we needed anything! They even provided tide tables, along with a TON of info about things to do in the surrounding area. We look forward to our next visit to Castaway Cove!

Our stay here was fantastic. The space had a fun shipwreck theme throughout. The hosts were kind, helpful and quick to respond. The location was quiet and close to town.

Kelly and Ellie really made our stay amazing. They were so helpful with things to do and places to eat. Their knowledge of the local area and things to do was impressive. The room did not disappoint. The attention to detail to really make it feel like more than just a suite, it was 5 star. Our kids loved the cave theme. The separation of space is wonderful as well, it feels so much bigger than the pictures show. The view of the inlet was gorgeous, we saw several different types of birds. We will be booking again for sure, so we can do some kayaking.

Great hosts, probably the best service we've ever encountered, and so clean! This place was immaculate and very well thought out in the decor and styling. Such a fun place for our family to stay during this trip to the Oregon Coast! The place was also stocked with a few breakfast essentials to get us by the first morning after checking in before we made it to the store. There are more than enough cooking appliances to prepare simple meals, probably even a little more complicated that what we chose to do as we wanted to spend our time exploring the many things to do and see on the property as well as nearby. We would definitely stay again next time we're in the area, and I will recommend to all of my friends heading that way as well.

Our family stayed here for 10 days on our trip to the Oregon coast. We wanted a location that was centrally located so we could use it as a home base for our trips up and down the coast. The location was perfect but more than that the place was perfect. Kelly and Ellie have created an amazing and charming place to stay. Everything, and I mean everything, fits with the Castaway Cove theme they have created. The place is charming, the beds are cozy, the location is perfect. The way they have gone above and beyond is what makes this place extra special - robes for everyone, special face cloths to use for taking off make up, extra lighting in the bathroom for doing your make up, fans and usb ports in the bunks so the teenagers could keep their devices charged and so much more. Kelly and Ellie really are super hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and showed us all around our home away from home as well as the rest of the property. They even offered to help carry in our stuff! They were easy to communicate with and responded promptly if we did have a question. They are warm and welcoming and easy to get along with. We wish we lived closer so we could stay there more often.
