The location of the property is fantastic. The lake is crystal clear and warm. We loved being able to use the SUPs (2), kayaks (2) and canoe. Might want to bring your own life jackets. The description does not note that there are plenty of games there. That’s a nice touch. The beautiful camp needs a new toaster. But that’s a minor inconvenience when you have the gorgeous screened porch. Only areas for improvement are - additional lighting on the screened porch; for the price of the rental, it should include sheets; there were no hand towels at the camp; maybe cut back some of the greenery to widen the beach area. We did get visited by a bear around 7:30 am one day. He ran away as soon as he saw me. Overall, great visit. Josh was great to work with, as well. Thank you!

Pictures do not do this house justice. Beautifully decorated and perfectly laid out. One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had and produced family memories that will last!

Nice cabin, beautiful lake, sleeps 10 but water supply is not sufficient. One adult took a shower, flushing toilets, and doing dishes... didn't have water for two days out of the four. Had to bring pails of water up from lake to flush toilets. Absolutely ruined our stay/family visit of which 5 people were from out of state and traveled here to attend. Lighting terrible, had to bring sheets and towels, had to take garbage to transfer station which was only open from 8:00 am to 12:00. I could go on. Very disappointed....wasted a lot of money on this cabin. To top it all off, my 38 year old fill down the weird carpeted stairs a broke two toes!

This was the second time my family and I used this cabin. If you are looking for seclusion with direct lake access and only minutes from Old Forge this is your place. Some highlights of our week were catching bass, relaxing in the screened room and our black bear visitor!

Location and back screen room were amazing. Only problems were the number of kayaks and canoes were less than described and the kitchen was missing a few things, like a can opener and something to juice a lime with.

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. The outdoor space is amazing they have a large screened in porch that made it great for cocktails and hanging out at night. The place was clean and well kept and close to old forge.

Worked out really well for our group. Comfortable, clean, included everything we needed. Josh, the Property Manager, was very responsive to our pre-arrival questions. Canoe and kayak and the beauty of this peaceful lake was just what we needed...nothing better than a campfire pit by a lake!

This was our first lake vacation and we fell in love with this house. We fished, swam, used the kayaks and paddle boards. The water was warm and clean. We cooked on the Weber grill and fell in love with the screened porch. The pictures do not do it justice! The house was very clean. We hope to vacation here again!

This property is just before Old Forge, avoiding much of the holiday traffic. The lake is a nice size for paddlers and has all the boats you will need right there. As stated in the description much of our family time was spent in the beautiful screened in porch with the fire pit a blaze. Great place for a family to reconnect.

What a perfect place to spend time with family! There were nine of us and we took advantage of the beautiful area and view from the large porch! We hope to go back in the summer! Thanks for letting us enjoy a few days away together!

This was a great house to rent for our Fall Weekend Getaway. We stayed with our 2 adult children and soon-to-be son-in-law. The property was in a great location, right on a small lake but only 3.5 miles from the center of town. There were mountain bikes, kayaks, a canoe, and SUP’s on site. We used the boats and a nearby trail for a nice morning hike. The trail was very easy to follow and appropriate for easy level of hiking ability. We had a campfire on the lake one night. Really enjoyed the large screened-in porch with pit fireplace. The house lacks closets, but has dressers. There is a bedroom and full bath downstairs and 1/2 bath and 4 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with all essential items. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. There was definitely enough to occupy us for our 4-night, 5-day stay. The house looks like it was dropped in the woods and is in a very lovely setting with a lake-view. In fact, views were gorgeous, no matter where you sat.

Convenient location to all the Old Forge activities and a lot of things to keep busy with at this property - kayaking, canoeing, board games and a full kitchen has everything for family dinners and plenty of room for a large group to spread out. We really enjoyed the outdoor porch area with propane fire.

The cottage was beautiful. The location and amenities were exactly what we were looking for. The screened in porch is impressive and great for games and cocktails! The trail to the beach was gorgeous and the water was pristine. The owner and manager were very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect for a few days away! Close to the center of Old Forge

This house was situated on the peaceful, warm water of Lake Tekeni. The large screen porch was amazing and beds were comfortable. Our only issue was some ants and mice that the new owners plan to deal with. We were told of many upgrades to come in the next year. We would love to come back again

Didnt receive detailed information about stay until 2 hrs prior to arrival. Had driven 7 1/2 hours and found out just before arrival no linens would be provided because it is inconvenient to owner. Was told to look around there should be some in the house. Paid a cleaning fee only to have instruction to run the vacuum and sweep the floor. We have used airbnb and homeaway many times this is a first. House was nice but anxiety last minute about no communication and terms of stay unacceptable.

Very nice cabin to stay with family

We had a great stay in the ADK. The cabin was awesome and well appointed. The pellet stove kept it warm and toasty. We loved hanging out in the screened in porch and stayed warm by the fire pit out there. All in all it was a great weekend and extremely nice and comfortable place. Would love to rent it again.

The interior of the house was not clean. There were dirty towels (4) left in the bathtub. There was no propane for the grill or fire pit.

We are a family with 5 teenagers...and the TV only went on twice to watch a late night movie...that's it :) We had a terrific time on Lake Tekini...spent hours out on the water in the kayaks and canoe, and we even listened to an acoustic guitarist on the public beach while drifting on the water one evening! The town of Old Forge is full of character and charm. There was enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably and a cozy bar table for competetive poker games. The screened in porch with the propane fire pit was our kids' first experience with making s'mores. We had a great time. Thank you!

The house is in a perfect location, easy drive to town. The house itself needs a lot of work. The refg and oven were incredibly dirty , we scrubbed both before we could even use or put our food away. The bathtub needs to be retiled, they used waterproof tape to fix the existing problem. Part of the deck collapsed due to the snow load and existing rot. Some of the upstairs bedrooms didn't even have electrical outlets. The screen room is great but that's about it. I feel once certain things are addressed this property would be a great rental but for now I wouldn't recommend this property.

Beautiful camp right on the snowmobile trail! We had a nice long weekend snowmobiling in and out of town. Loved the outdoor fireplace on the porch.
