My wife and I had a wonderful time at the retreat. We had great response to questions and no issues at all. Everything we needed was provided and beach was great for snorkeling and relaxing. Saw and filmed many turtles, barracuda, angel fish and many other fish types. There was a baby stingray at the beach in the shallow waters almost every day. Glad to have stayed here this year. Looking forward to our next trip to the caymans. We are divers so we drive to Georgetown area and dive from there. Next year we will dive north side.

This condo is great! Val and Dave are very friendly and great communicators! Well equipped condo! Nice view from the deck! Great location: Nice reef right out front; Rum Point Club restaurant has delicious offerings; possible to take boat outings from Rum Point Club dock (eg sunset cruise) and from Kaibo (trip to Stingray City); great sunsets! We also recommend Over the Edge and Vivine's Kitchen. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach.

We had a great time. The condo had everything we needed. You have thought of everything. Thanks it was great celebrating our 44wedding anniversary. We appreciated all the communication ie places to see, eat , groceries etc. both before we arrived and checking in with us during our stay.

Loved this condo. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. Wonderful balcony and view. Great communication with the owners. The property has a sandy beach and snorkeling right off the shore. Enjoyed walking over for dinner or drinks at the new and improved Rum Point. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful condo with a lovely view that we enjoyed with our coffee every morning. The location is perfect. Just a short walk down to the beautiful beach. Val and Dave have thought of everything, providing so many nice touches, including the lovely welcome basket. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again when visiting Grand Cayman. Highly recommend!

Valerie was the consummate host and the condo was incredibly well appointed! She was so flexible with us for arrival and departure, and included so many personal homey touches that made all the difference. Her recommendations of places to go and things to see really helped us plan an awesome babymoon! Unfortunately it was incredibly windy on the north side of the island during our stay, but with a car it was super easy to get around the island and check out the different beaches and all they have to offer. The condo is just under 20 minutes from the Botanical Gardens, which is an awesome spot to see the blue iguanas. We were only 30-35 minutes or so from the southern beach areas along Bodden Town, some of which had excellent snorkeling and calm quiet lagoons. Getting around the island is very easy by car, and Rum point is a quiet area lovely for getting away from it all with some excellent spots like Kaibo that are just down the way. 10/10 would recommend staying here for a relaxing vacation away from it all with wonderful accommodations and a lovely host!

Retreat 12 was perfect for us. The location on Rum Point is away from the craziness of seven mile beach and very peaceful. The breeze on the point allow for great sunbathing in comfort. Snorkeling with the wide array of fish and turtles right off the beach was a huge benefit for us. We brought our own equipment but Val and Dave have everything you need. The Condo is well decorated and very comfortable. You will not have a need for anything. Kitchen fully loaded. Shower awesome and bed very comfortable. Restaurants are limited we enjoyed Kaibo and Tucca. Grocery store on the east end has what you need and Chisolms also is nearby for a quick last minute shop. Val was responsive and great to communicate with. This is a gem.

Absolutely beautiful unit in an absolutely beautiful complex with private beach and stunning views! Owners were amazing to deal with and gave tons of information to make our first trip to Grand Cayman fun-filled and unforgettable.

This was a great property and some of the best snorkeling is steps away. If the wind is up on the north side, it’s a quick drive to the leeward side. The unit has everything that you need for a great vacation. The hosts are very responsive.

We loved our stay at mi casa es su casa. Our host provided us with detailed information on local activities. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, and we enjoyed sitting on the screened in patio for meals. For coffee lovers you have your options of a keurig, French Press, or traditional coffee pot. We had all the kitchen tools we needed to cook at home. The location is 5 minutes down the road from Starfish Point. Thank you so much again for the hospitality. We can't wait to come back!!

If you’re looking for a worry free, relaxing stay - this is your place! The condo is situated on the quieter side of the island, a great retreat from the more touristy side of the island. The condo had everything that you might need, the host had fantastic communication and is a location that was superb.

Our second time staying in this adorable one-bedroom, second floor condo. Definitely will not be our last! The owner and the property manager are very communicative leading up to your stay. This gives a huge sense of security! Upon arrival, everything is perfectly in order and ready for you! A thoughtful gift basket awaits on the counter. Everything you need to feel at home is provided. The tidy place boasts a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of linens, bath and beach towels! Just grab some groceries at nearby Chisolm’s and you never have to venture to 7 Mile Beach. The beautiful water of North Sound is yards away! Snorkeling along the North side will introduce you flourishing coral and abundant sea life! Tons of tropical fish make their home here, including Queen Parrot fish, barracuda, file fish, trumpet fish, stingray, spiny lobster, lion fish, a surly Moray eel, and even a few nurse sharks! For in-room entertainment, there is wifi, cable TV, plenty of DVDs, books, and board games already on-site. Proximity to the restaurants and bars at Rum Point and Kaibo make an evening out very easy! For an extremely relaxing and refreshing vacation, Mi Casa, Su Casa should be at the top of your list!

Absolutely beautiful condo with the most accommodating hosts! Val and Dave went above and beyond to make sure my stay was truly amazing. They were very responsive and helpful in preparation for and during my stay. I received their welcome email before my arrival with things to do in Cayman, a wonderful welcome basket upon arrival, a much needed 5-gallon jug of water, and a great instructional booklet for their beautiful condo. The condo was fully stocked with all the essentials and much more (e.g., scuba gear, beach towels, DVDs, kitchen utensils, coolers and ice packs for the beach, detergent for the washing machine, sunscreen, and the list goes on). Such beautiful attention to detail with seashells, starfish, and beach-inspired decor. And of course the view of the beach was breathtaking! If you are thinking about booking this condo, do it!!! You will have no regrets.

Staying at Valerie and Dave’s place was one of the BEST travel experiences we have ever had. Every need and detail has been thought of by these two! Valerie guided us to all great experiences; including feeding and swimming with sting ray, barefoot bbqs, snorkeling, and more. Oh and the VIEW! Do you want to see the beautiful sea in all its changing colors right from the comfort of your lodging? Then this is the place! You are also right next to Rum Point, starfish bay, the bioluminescent experience, and the best snorkeling. If you want the true island feel then this is the place for you. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you again, Valerie and Dave, for making our 30th wedding anniversary a dream come true. You are the best!

Val has gone above and beyond with setting up her condo with virtually everything you need for a care-free stay in the Rum Point area. All the kitchen appliances you would need to cook and prepare your morning coffee (conventional coffee maker, espresso press, and a Keurig !). She has three different size coolers to use for beach outings, two Tommy Bahama chairs, and an umbrella. She also has swimming noodles and a few tubes to use if you want to just chill on the beach less than 30 feet from the condo. The screened-in porch is a nice touch, especially when it comes to protection from the massive mosquito swarms at night. There's a nice view of the bay where you can sit and watch boats. There's a full-size washer and dryer to wash cloths if you want to pack light. The bed is very comfortable, and the walk-in shower with the rainfall showerhead is a nice touch. Val, provides extensive info for everything you need for your stay in the condo, and provides excellent advice and links to help you with scheduling tours, and even a link to the cruise schedules so you'll know when to avoid downtown Georgetown and the West Bay when the cruisers flock to that side of town. :>) The only thing that got us off guard was we forgot to heed the instructions to turn on the timer attached to the hot water heater when we wanted hot water for showers or other needs. Unfortunately, my wife learned the hard way when she took her first shower and found out what it was like to take a cold one.

We had a great seven night stay. Great communication from Val. The apartment condo was exceptionally clean with all the little things available to make a stay wonderful. Air conditioner was appreciated and kept us cool for really good nights' sleep. One of the main reasons we came to GC was for the snorkeling and water activities. The snorkeling in the little bay behind the condo was excellent with a variety of colorful fish, rays, and turtles. No need to go get beat up by the waves at Spotts :) We brought our own masks, but the masks and flippers Val makes available were good. During the week, the mini beach for the Retreat was extremely quiet, and we had it to ourselves for most of the time. The Rum Point restaurant and bar next door are still being actively remodeled. When that is complete, hopefully within a few months, it will be really convenient and nice. Don't hesitate, stay here!

We have stayed at many VRBO rental properties over several years and Mi Casa Su Casa was by far the best equipped and one of the most modern and cleanest. Valerie was terrific to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the condo. I highly recommend this rental and will certainly try and come back in the future.

We so enjoyed our stay at this condo! Communication and check in was seamless. The little welcome basket with hand written welcome note made for such an extra personal touch. Cleanliness was exceptional and we wanted for nothing in the kitchen and condo thru out. Much thought was put into making this condo welcoming and homey!!❤️

My husband and I spent a week at this awesome little condo and we’re so pleased with our experience. The owner (Val) was super responsive and kept us informed of island happenings throughout our trip. She even had a welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived with all kinds of goodies! The condo was clean and exactly as the description said it was, with all the things you could possibly need during your stay. We loved being on the quiet side of the island and taking day trips to see every part of the island that we could squeeze in. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for the perfect place to relax and unwind for a week.

This is the perfect spot for everything. #1 was Val and Dave, The best hosts I have ever experienced both with communication and genuine care for their guests. The VRBO was well maintained and equipped with absolutely everything you need to enjoy the spectacular area. The pool was well maintained and felt like are own private pool. My daughter practiced tennis every morning on the well maintained court with the equipment provided by the hosts. The beach was amazing from schools of bonefish to literally some of the best snorkeling in the world right off the beach. My daughter snorkeled with a sea turtle for about an hour while we watched her from shore. Rum point was open “enough” for us with the bar and food truck in operation. The location was easy for charters right down the street at Kaibo yacht club. Plenty of fantastic Resteraunt’s nearby. We filled 7 days of great adventures from this location but still can’t get over the snorkeling right out front. The whole family agreed this was the best spot we have stayed in many years of Caribbean adventures Thank you Val and Dave

We've stayed at a number of VRBO's around the Caribbean and all really have been excellent accommodations. As far as gracious, attentive, helpful owners, though, none compare to Val and Dave. Though we were pretty self-sufficient, knowing that prompt local support was always at hand was quite comforting. The condo was very well equipped and ample space for me, my wife, and my adult son. If you're seeking a quiet Cayman experience with good snorkeling from shore and an excellent dive shop (Ocean Frontiers) not far away, The Retreat is a great choice. A number of solid dining options within twenty minutes and Chisholms is a nice local option for limited groceries. If I wanted to make daily trips to Georgetown, it would be too far for me.

The owners are the best at communicating! The property is excellent, well appointed, just a great property. A wonderful gift basket provided by the owners . Overall a 10 !!

We’ve stayed on islands around the world and this location and accommodations met and generally surpassed them all!

A perfect 2 weeks in “Micasasucasa”. From the very beginning of our reservation, Val, the owner, was in constant communication, answering all questions, offering suggestions and directions etc. The condo was perfect for us, two octogenarians. It was nicely decorated and provided everything we needed for cooking. The beach is lovely with easy access into the water but you have to walk way out to get to waist deep, perfect for little ones to play in. It is a hike to Georgetown but Grisholms Grocery is only a 5 minute ride and provided everything we needed. Don’t hesitate to decide on Micasasucasa. The owners will take good care of your.

Property was gorgeous and in excellent condition. Everything we needed was provided for. Even. 2 5gal bottles of water. We really didn’t need anything but groceries

Quite enjoyed our 5 night stay at Val and Daves condo, fantastic location for snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. The condo itself is well appointed with basically everything you need,very spacious for a 1br although you could sleep 5 with the pullouts. It was nice to have the Rum Point restaurant available next door for alternative buffet lunch and cocktails. I love the Rum Point area and hope to make it back soon.

Had a great time, and our 2nd Xmas at this location. We are looking forward to over next stay. Very please with room and everything else.
